The Future of Diamonds: How HPHT Technology is Changing the Industry
Diamonds have captivated hearts for centuries, their brilliance a symbol of love, commitment, and enduring beauty. But the traditional diamond industry has faced growing scrutiny in recent years. Ethical concerns and environmental impact have led many consumers to question the origin of their stones.
Enter HPHT (High Pressure, High Temperature) technology, a game-changer for the diamond industry. This innovative process mimics the natural diamond formation process under controlled laboratory conditions, creating ethically-sourced, stunning diamonds with the exact same physical and chemical properties as their mined counterparts.
Here's how HPHT is transforming the future of diamonds:
Ethical Brilliance: HPHT lab diamonds offer a conflict-free alternative. You can be confident your stones haven't fueled environmental damage or social injustice. This resonates with today's socially conscious consumers who value transparency and ethical sourcing.
Sustainable Sparkle: Gone are the days of large-scale mining and its impact on the environment. HPHT lab grown diamonds are created in controlled settings, minimizing the environmental footprint. This aligns perfectly with the growing demand for sustainable practices in the jewelry industry.
Unmatched Beauty: HPHT technology allows for precise control over the diamond's growth process. This results in exceptional clarity, color, and brilliance, rivaling even the most coveted mined diamonds. Your customers can experience the timeless elegance of diamonds without sacrificing quality.
Accessibility for All: HPHT lab made diamonds are often more affordable than mined diamonds of comparable quality. This opens the doors for a wider audience to experience the joy of diamond jewelry, expanding the market and customer base for retailers.
Are you ready to embrace the future of HPHT lab grown diamonds?
As a leading HPHT lab-grown diamond manufacturer, we offer a wide range of exquisite stones perfect for any design vision. Our commitment to quality, ethical sourcing, and sustainable practices ensures you can confidently provide your customers with the diamonds they deserve.

Starfall: Chapter 30: Sunrise
Previous Chapter: Next Chapter:

Star hit the wall inside the lab, blasted backwards with a flaming strike that threw her through the console. There was nowhere to run or hide in a room this small, and she couldn’t dodge Black Doom forever. He’d finally started landing blows, after energy strikes had ripped plating from the walls and destroyed most of the equipment. Broken glass littered the floor like diamonds or tears, just like when the Gizoid had gotten loose.
Just like right before Maria died. She winced and had to throw herself to the side to avoid another vicious assault. What kind of horrible irony was it that she’d found the last little pieces of Maria existed in herself and Emory, just for this monster to rise again and try to wipe them out once and for all? Once he’d finished with her, he’d go after Emory. Then Shadow really would be alone, if not now then in a hundred years when the friends he’d made had aged and died.
She couldn’t let that happen. She’d been created to prevent it, and only a few minutes ago she’d gotten a glimpse into a future with three Ultimate Lifeforms. It was the promise of something better, and she wasn’t willing to let it be destroyed. She couldn’t die here, and let that hum in the background fade away. They were so close.
“I’ve been planning your destruction since I reformed here. You have been nothing but a thorn in my side since Gerald created you.” Black Doom snarled. “You stole my victory and my heir, and I’ve imagined your death a thousand times since that day. Only one method seemed punishing enough.”
“Listening to you talk?” She sneered, dodging another fire blast and leaving a scorch mark on the floor.
“Insolent brat.” Another energy strike managed to make contact, gashing open her arm and sending her flying into the wall again. “I am going to dismantle you atom by atom, until nothing is left. I’ll unmake you, here where you were created, and undo the mistake Gerald made when he dared make you in the first place. And Shadow will watch.”
Star blanched. “Shadow…?” Her eyes darted around, looking for him desperately. “You leave him alone!”
“These walls are one way windows. He’s on the other side, watching what will happen. Trapped on the other side.” Black Doom laughed.
“All I could do is bang against the wall and scream your name, just like Maria…” She could almost hear the crack of Shadow’s voice as he told her about what happened after the airship crash. To force him to watch, helpless, while she died was beyond cruel. It was worse than the aftermath, the silence that followed death.
“You won’t make him join you.” She got unsteadily to her feet. Even without her warping abilities, she’d still been trained to fight. She wasn’t giving up or backing down. It wasn’t in her nature, and she had something worth fighting for.
“When the grief of your death drives him insane, it won’t matter if he joins or not. He won’t know the difference between friend and foe.”
Star narrowed her eyes, sliding a foot back experimentally. Her warp might not work, but she felt the telltale prickle of her leg melting into the shadows behind the broken machine. “Come and get me then.”
“You-” Before he could strike, Star melted into the darkness and slid under the nearest machine. It would buy time, but she had to think fast.
Dammit, I need an emerald. But if Shadow’s here, he’s got one. He took it with him- She slithered through the shadows and under the laboratory door. The walls were thicker than the rest of the ARK’s rooms, and hummed with some kind of energy that must have been what was disrupting her warp. She quickly reformed into her usual self and took off down the hall, searching for Shadow and Emory.
Together, they could do this. They had to be able to; they were the Ultimate Lifeforms.

Emory turned a corner just in time to slam hard into someone else running at high speed. She skidded backwards on her tail, blinking when she spotted a black hedgehog in a gray dress slowly sitting up. “Star? What- Holy Chaos you’re bleeding!”
“Black Doom’s on board, and so is Shadow.” Star rasped, shaking her head. She looked rough, getting to her feet hurriedly. “No time to explain. We need to find Shadow, he’s got an emerald.”
“I heard his voice a minute ago, but there’s something I’ve got to tell y-”
Star looked over her shoulder as a menacing laugh echoed through the hallway. “Later.”
Emory nodded, grabbing her hand and pulling her upright. “Shadow’s voice was coming from this way.”
“There’s a hidden lab… Doom said Shadow was trapped on the other side of one way windows.” Star tried to stem her bloody arm, knowing the trail would lead Doom right to them. “I didn’t even know the lab was there, I don’t know how to get to the observation room.”
“I do. Follow me.” Emory pulled her along, turning three corners and coming to a climate control console.
“That’s just the air conditioning-” Star started, but Emory popped a panel off the side and typed in a four digit code. “What the…?”
“Shadow must have gone in through the wreckage the Gizoid left behind.” Emory explained as the console loaded.
The display flashed, the same chipper computer voice that had addressed Star when she logged in speaking again. “WELCOME, MARIA ROBOTNIK.”
Star wanted to ask, even opened her mouth to do it, but there was no time and she knew it. She just ducked and followed Emory in the hidden doorway that opened, shivering when it closed behind them. It wouldn’t fool Doom for long, and he could just phase through objects, but she had to get some space between them. She had to get to Shadow and make a plan.
Emory led her through a maze like hall inside the guts of the ARK before they came up on a outer circle studded with windows viewing into the room Star had just evacuated. They could both hear Shadow’s voice, raggedly saying her name, and Black Doom’s laughter. Star tugged Emory’s arm, dropping her own voice to a bare whisper. “Doom’s eye is with him. If he sees me, the big version will be here in a second. He wants to kill me in front of Shadow and drive him out of his mind.”
Emory nodded. “I’ll handle the eye.”
“How?” Star frowned.
“Stress test.” The blonde grinned, then shot ahead faster than Star had ever seen her move.
When she rounded the curve she found Doom’s eye looming ominously over Shadow, who was definitely in the middle of either a breakdown or a panic attack on his knees. The ungodly fury that flooded her when she saw the look on his face, she hadn’t felt that strongly in this lifetime. She tucked herself into a ball, her only clue on how to spin dash being memories of Shadow and Star’s training from a literal lifetime ago. But it must have been enough because she struck the eye right in the center and sent it flying back as she bounced off it, landing back on her feet. She was close enough to the Emerald she could feel the buzz Star had described, attentive now to her senses in a way she hadn’t been before.
She flicked her hand up, lightning crackling in her fingertips so bright green that it looked white, and threw a Chaos spear that blew the screeching eye into smithereens. Once it went down, she turned to Shadow and knelt beside him. “Hey. Hey, look at me. Star, it’s clear and Shadow needs you!”
Her sister rounded the curve almost immediately, skidding to her lover’s side. “I’m here. Shadow, I’m here. It’s okay.”
Her hands settled on his cheeks and he grabbed her wrists, hyperventilating. “W-what… are you two… doing here…?” He rasped.
“Long story.” She smoothed his face with her thumbs. “Catch your breath. We’ve got to take down Black Doom, and we’ve got one emerald between the three of us.”
He nodded, swallowing hard and closing his eyes. It had taken him and Sonic in Super form to defeat Doom before… and he hadn’t been panicking then. “H-how?”
Star folded her arms around him and pulled him to her chest, looking at Emory. “He’s immortal. If there’s a single Black Arms soldier anywhere in the universe, he’ll just come back again and again.” She muttered, petting Shadow’s head.
“So we can’t kill him. But… we can contain him.” Emory nodded. “Your Chaos powers.”
“I can’t hold it forever.” Star frowned. “He broke it last time, when I had all seven emeralds and was in super form.”
Emory nodded. She could pull off Chaos spear, but had no idea what other abilities she might have. Star couldn’t use Chaos Control like Shadow and Sonic, so she couldn’t bank on either of those abilities just in case hers was one or the other, or something else entirely. “... LEDA 3074547. The Boomerang Nebula reaches temperatures of 1 degree Kelvin… almost absolute zero.” She mumbled. “At absolute zero, all molecular motion stops. Theoretically, even Black Doom couldn’t resist being frozen, especially since his abilities indicate heat instead of cold resistance.”
“Trap him with Chaos Containment and use Chaos Control to warp him to the Nebula. That’s brilliant.” Star blinked, then turned back to Shadow. He’d gotten his breathing under control, though he was still clinging to her like a lifeline. “We can do this, love. The three of us.”
Shadow nodded, leaning his forehead against hers to get the last of himself sorted out. “Let’s do it.” He finally said with a squeeze around Star’s middle.
Emory looked at Star. “That Starburst move you were telling me about in the base. Talk me through the theory of it?”
“Like… becoming the Chaos spear.” Star nodded. “The light and speed of it, coming from the Chaos energy inside you.”
Emory grinned. “Got it. You two keep up, and let’s show Doom what we’re made of.”
Star helped Shadow to his feet, both of them throwing an arm up over their eyes as the blonde hedgehog’s quills lit up and she shot back the way she and Star had come. Shadow winced until the light faded. “How is she doing that?”
“She’s one of us.” Star smiled. “An Ultimate Lifeform.”
“How the hell-”
“I’ll explain afterwards.” She pressed a quick kiss to his cheek and pulled him after her down the hall. “That flash bang is only going to blind Doom for so long, and we need to be there to back her up.”
He nodded again and followed, the two of them coming out of the hidden console and following the blaze of light down a hallway. When they got there, Emory was pinballing around Black Doom like a disorienting comet burning bright. Shadow slipped the cyan emerald into Star’s hand and she slid in close. “Emory!”
Her sister shot back out of range, the light going out, as Star’s inverted prism of Chaos locked around Black Doom.
“You wretch. You won’t hold me long, I will-” He started his newest villainous monologue, but Shadow wasn’t having him talk to Star any longer than it took for him to put his hand over the Emerald.
“Chaos control.”
The distortion of space and time shimmered like water and rippled before the containment faded in a rush of cold that made everyone’s fur stand on end.
Emory grinned, a little wobbly on her feet, and made her way back to Star and Shadow. Star was still holding her bloody arm, leaning against Shadow as he held onto her like he needed to know she was there. “I’ve always wanted to do that. The spin-dash.”
Star smiled sheepishly. “You’ll get plenty of opportunities, based on what I found.”
“What the hell are you two even doing here?” Shadow demanded. “You’re supposed to be safe on Earth!”
“And you’re supposed to be with Rouge.” Star pointed out. “I came because… well, it’s complicated, but the long story short is that I needed to finish Project Starlight for Professor, and I found the Phase Two notes. There was a third Ultimate Lifeform, made as a donor immune system to save Maria. The experiment worked, but before the transplant could happen the raid did…. But I was made with Maria’s DNA, and Subject 3 was made with mine and a fragment of DNA from Maria’s plants…”
Shadow took her hand and squeezed it. “So you really were the cure.” He smiled weakly. “After everything we tried, it took you and her together.”
“Emory’s Subject 3. GUN took her during the raid, and she must have been in stasis til Mom and Dad found her. But she’s an Ultimate Lifeform, made with Maria’s genetics. So was I, so… I guess we really are sisters.” Star looked over her shoulder as Emory walked over.
Emory grinned, slipping her hands behind her back and rocking her heels. She wanted to remember this moment forever, the moment they were all reunited and knew it. “Hey, Star?”
“Mm?” Star blinked at her, meeting her eyes. She could finally really see how identical the shade of blue was, and now she understood why.
“What character do you get when you turn a 3 sideways?” She giggled.
“... I guess an M, in your curly handwriting.” Star glanced at Shadow, who shrugged.
“And an M, in front of my name?”
“M-Emory… Memory?”
“I told you I needed to find the Memory, didn’t I, little sister?” Emory’s grin got brighter and more delighted as she watched the furrow between Star’s eyes deepen in thought.
“Find the-” Star froze, eyes snapping back to hers. Her breath shuddered, voice cracking into a half-broken whisper. “M-maria?”
Emory nodded. “I remember everything now… I’ve missed you both so much…. But you did it. You made it to Earth, and now we really will all be together. Just like I promised.” Her grin was a little misty eyed when she held her arms open and started humming a song they both knew immediately.
You are my sunshine. My only sunshine.
Star let out a sob, but Shadow moved faster than she did. He shot forward, tackling into Emory and knocking her back onto her tail. Star was right behind him, Emory’s laugh coming out in a strained “ooof” when a second hedgehog landed on her.
“Maria!”
“It’s really you!”
The three of them lay in a tangle of limbs and embraces, everyone sobbing into each other’s fur and laughing all at once. “How did you figure it out?” Star hiccupped finally.
“I went down to the greenhouse…” Emory wiped her cheeks. “The flowers are still there, bigger than before. And I remembered putting that pollen on you on purpose.”
“Can we go back?” Shadow asked softly. “... We always said it was where we were supposed to meet when the danger was finally over.”
Emory nodded. “I think we should take the flowers back to Earth. One day, this colony’s going to break apart… but it’s okay, because it’s not home anymore. Home is where the heart is.”
“Home is wherever the three of us are.” Star leaned her head on Shadow’s arm. “But I think I understand why you missed the Earth so much. It’s just as beautiful as you said, Maria.”
Emory smiled and wiggled up, giving both of them a hand to their feet. “It’s still me, but I think I like the name Emory for this lifetime… it suits the journey. And I came up with a very clever equation I think you’ll like.”
Shadow shook his head, a smile on his lips and a lightness about him that neither of them had seen in 50 years. “Let’s go get the flowers, then, and go home. But we’re taking the same ship.”
“Agreed.” Star giggled. “If GUN wants that second one back, they can come get it themselves.”
“You two stole a ship too?” Shadow raised an eyebrow.
“Oh no. What did you and Rouge do?” Emory laughed.
“Omega helped.”
Star groaned. “Don’t encourage the Starniks. They find enough trouble on their own!”
“Says the woman bleeding all over the ARK. Again.” He poked her cheek. “It’s even the same arm as when you got hurt fighting the Gizoid.”
“You got hurt fighting the Gizoid?” Emory frowned. “You didn’t tell me that when I woke up in the medbay!”
“I didn’t even notice until Shadow pointed it out.” Star flushed. “There was a lot going on! Oh, I have to tell you about how we had to re-do a first kiss!”
Emory laughed, echoing down the hallway as they headed for the greenhouse. One last time, before they got to make the journey she’d been dreaming of for more than a half century. The trio was going home, to Earth, hand in hand.

“... Is that Mom’s car?” Emory frowned as Shadow set the ship down at the base he’d stolen it from. They’d collectively decided hauling space plants across the water was going to take too long if they went to the Crystal Keyhole base, especially with Star now in a sling.
Star released her harness and peeked out the window. “... Yep.”
“We’re grounded for forever…” Emory groaned.
“I mean, legally you can leave. You’re eighteen and Star’s legally classified as a weapon.” Shadow pointed out. “You can come to my house in Mystic Ruins.”
“She’s still our Mom.” Star watched Regina, Dev, and Abe Tower coming out of the building and headed right for them. “... And there’s Dad.”
“We’re dead.” Emory groaned.
“We’re immortal. Maybe we just have to stay inside for another fifty years.” Star offered.
“I will not.” Shadow huffed. “I get claustrophobic if I stay still too long.”
“Let me get out first.” Star offered. “I’m visibly injured, maybe it’ll garner enough sympathy to get them to hear us out. We did just technically save the world again, so that’s got to count for something.”
“You’re a master of psychological manipulation.” Shadow tried not to laugh. “Here, I’ll help you down the ramp. We’ll make a show of it.”
Emory picked up the pallet full of plants and followed them as Star let Shadow help her out. She probably did need it, after being thrown around, but normally her pride would have won out. They hopped down the ramp and onto the base tarmac as the three adults beelined for them.
“EMORY NUBERRY! STAR ARK NUBERRY. DID YOU TWO STEAL A SPACESHIP?”
Star smiled weakly. “It was an emergency, Mom.”
Regina did a double take when she saw the sling. “Oh Chaos, what happened to you?!”
“Black Doom was on the ARK.” Shadow explained, looking at Abe. They didn’t like each other, probably never would, but there was that begrudging respect that had formed after the invasion. He hoped it would help the cause here. “We took care of it.”
“We also recovered the data on Project Starlight, Phase 1 and 2.” Emory offered. “Which… includes where I came from.”
Dev and Regina froze. Abe gave them both a look. “Where you came from, Emory?”
“Emmie…” Dev was trying desperately to signal her to stop talking, but she just grinned.
“They found me in stasis in a weapons depot.” She said gleefully. “Turns out I was actually made on the ARK, as a donor to give Maria Robotnik a new immune system and cure her NIDS. But I wasn’t done baking, and GUN seized my growth tank after the raid.”
Abe looked at Regina and Dev. “.... You two faked a whole pregnancy and marriage in order to steal a kid out of a tube?”
“We didn’t fake the marriage…” Dev said awkwardly. Regina was just looking shell-shocked.
Emory just beamed, realizing with delight that she really had been the reason her family ever happened to begin with. It was a nice feeling, to know that her existence had helped people fall in love and create someone like Lizzie, and for the little clan that had been there for Star when she needed them the most. She couldn’t have ever imagined that kind of influence back when she was Maria… speaking of which. “I also unlocked some past life memories while on the ARK, along with some Chaos abilities. So that was pretty cool. I’ve got a lot more in common with Star and Shadow now.”
Abe’s blood pressure was definitely climbing into the red zone at the thought of three super powered ARK weirdos on his planet, but he was trying to be diplomatic. “Past life, Emory?”
She looked him dead in the eyes, expression softening. She could still see the little boy he used to be… how strange, he was a grown man while Star and Shadow were teenagers, they’d all been kids together, they all had the same “sister”... and here she was, back from the dead after so much had happened that she’d been absent for. “You got your heterochromia from your mother. She had one blue and one brown eye, and your dads were green… I helped you paint the eye of one of your teddy bears with nail polish when you were four, so it would match.”
He went slack jawed, eyes wide and crossed arms falling to his sides. “... Maria?”
She nodded with a giggle. “You’ve gotten really tall, Abe. Are you too big for hugs now?”
He just shook his head, dropping to one knee so she could trot over and hug him tightly around the neck. His hands shook when he put his arms around her. “I missed you.” He said quietly.
“I know. But we’re okay now.” She breathed soothingly. “I was never really gone. I lived in your heart, and theirs too.”
He chuckled, a little damp sounding, and nodded. “Still the same, aren’t you?”
“Of course I am.” She laughed, before turning to look sheepishly at Dev and Regina. “... are we still in trouble? I’m sorry we took the ship, but it was really important. And Shadow would have had to face Black Doom all alone if we hadn’t gone.”
Regina sighed. “No, you’re not in trouble… but where’s the second ship? You two took one and another one launched from here.”
“We left it on the ARK.” Shadow slid an arm around Star as Emory walked back over to them and tucked herself on his other side with a smile. “I could only fly one at a time.”
Abe pinched the bridge of his nose, but there was a smile on his lips. “We’ll send a recon team.” He turned to Regina and Dev. “Is there anything else I need to know that your family has been hiding?”
“I don’t think so, sir.” Dev said sheepishly.
“Good. Mar… Emory, when you finish with school I’d like to offer you a job. Star and Shadow… you two have a standing offer for work if you want it. I know there’s still some animosity there.”
“We’ll pop in when we’re needed.” Star smiled, laying her head on Shadow’s shoulder. “For now, I like working at the cafe. Though I might start commuting instead of living there.”
Shadow raised an eyebrow. “Finally taking me up on that offer?”
“Well, you do have a spare room, if Emory wanted to join us eventually.” She smiled sheepishly.
Regina’s ears twitched, a sad smile sliding across her face. “I guess my babies are growing up, huh? But Emory’s school is in Crystal Keyhole.”
“About that, Mom…. I can make that commute on foot.” Emory giggled. “I… uh, I can run as fast as Star and Shadow, apparently. There’s probably more I can do, too. I’ll just need to train. Maybe getting some space to do that isn’t so bad.”
Dev sighed. “Let’s talk about this over dinner… and go pick your sister up from Mrs. Peony’s place.”
“Sounds good.” Emory hefted the pallet of flowers again. “She’ll get a kick out of these. She loves flowers.”
Regina hesitantly looked up at Abe. “... Would you like to join us for dinner, Commander? I feel like we’re going to be seeing a lot of you from now on.”
“Thank you, that sounds nice.” He nodded politely, glancing over as Emory led the way to the car with her plants, Star and Shadow right behind. Just like they’d always been before, and would be for the rest of the foreseeable future. Some things never changed… and they weren’t meant to.
The moon and stars lit the long night, but the sun came back again in the morning.
“They look happy.” Dev said softly as he slipped his hand into Regina’s. “I think that’s all that really matters.”
“It is.” She nodded.
“I feel better about my impending retirement, honestly.” Abe nodded, slipping his hands into his uniform pockets. “If those three are going to be around forever, at least they’ve got each other. They’ve always needed each other. The brains, the heart, and the power.”
“Who’s who?” Regina chuckled.
“If my memory serves me correctly… depends on the day.” Gerald smiled. “Congratulations, by the way, for raising a Robotnik that hasn’t attempted world domination or destruction.”
“If we’d known she was a Robotnik, we might have predicted that lab under the shed.” Dev smiled. “C’mon, we’ll stop at the store and get what we need for dinner on the way home.”
“Alright. We’ll see you at six, Commander?” Regina nodded.
“I’ll be there.” He nodded.

This might have been the most comfortable Shadow had been in 50 years. They were in the apartment, having drug Star’s mattress and every cushion, pillow, and blanket in the vicinity into a pile, and were camped out under the string lights. He was sprawled on his back in the middle, Star curled on her side with her head on his chest and asleep already. Emory was on his other side, hugging a pillow and grinning at him while they talked in whispers to let Star sleep. It was just like movie nights back on the ARK, and a welcome slice of something like normalcy for three people who had never really known normal in their lives.
“Hey, Shadow?” Emory whispered after a momentary lull in their conversation. “I have a question.”
“Hm?” He turned his head to face her. It was still surreal that she was who she was, but the more he looked the more he saw it. That was Maria’s smile on a different face, but the voice hadn’t changed. He wondered how he hadn’t seen it before.
She giggled. “You know that circling thing you do with Star? You did it at the party, and she says you do it a lot.”
“Yeah? What about it?” He blinked.
“Well, since everyone on the ARK was human you wouldn’t know… but that’s a lead up to a marriage proposal for hedgehogs. So I wanted to ask if you actually would want to marry Star one day.”
Shadow blinked again, looking down as Star mumbled and nuzzled into his chest further, a little clicky purr escaping her in her doze. He absentmindedly traced the tip of her ear as he thought about it for a long minute. “I’d never given it much thought, but I think so. It’s a… forgone conclusion, like that we would get together in the first place.”
It was you. It was always going to be you.
Emory nodded. “I’m not going to get in the way of that, am I?” I… I want to be close to you both, and for us all to stay together like we wanted. But I want you two to be happy together. Before, there was always the idea in the back of my head that one day I’d be gone, and it would be just you two. But now… I think I’ll live as long as you do, with the Chaos mutations and manipulated DNA…”
“You wouldn’t get in the way.” He shook his head. “You were always going to be a part of it, even if you were… even after you died. You were a part of us, in our hearts like you said. Now it’ll be happy, instead of bittersweet.”
“What if you and Star had babies?”
“You’d be their aunt, I think. We’d still all be a family.”
“And if I met somebody?”
“If we don’t scare him off, then they’re worth your time.” Shadow shrugged. “But they wouldn’t live as long as us… Star and I would be there for you, but I don’t want to see you get your heart broken.”
Emory smiled, looking at Star’s sleeping face. “Loving anyone is giving them a chance to break your heart. But it’s worth it, for the time and happiness you share. She told me that.”
“Sounds like something you would have said, back then.” He smiled. “We all really are a part of each other. Sun, moon, and stars.”
“That’s what the galaxy is made of.” Emory nodded, squishing her cheek into her pillow happily. “And we’ve got forever to find out all the secrets of it. Sounds fun, right?”
“As long as we’re all together, anything does.” He nodded. “And even if it’s not, we’ll get through it.”
“That’s right.” She scooted a little closer, so she could hold his hand and reach over to put her other one on Star’s resting on his chest. “All together.”
Shadow closed his eyes again, about to doze off himself when he heard Emory giggle again. Mischievously, he recognized. “What?”
“When she’s distracted with the move to Mystic Ruins, you wanna go pick out a ring?”
He rolled his eyes, but a quiet grin slid across his face. “Yeah. I’ll call Rouge too, she knows way more about jewels than either one of us.”

Why Loose Diamonds Are the Smart Choice – Brought to You by Diamond Hedge
When it comes to buying diamonds, loose diamonds offer an unmatched level of versatility and value. At Diamond Hedge, we connect you with top-quality loose diamonds so you can find the perfect stone to suit your needs—whether it's for an engagement ring, custom jewelry, or a lasting investment.
Loose diamonds are diamonds that haven’t been set into jewelry yet, giving you full control over how they’re used. This means you can choose the exact cut, carat, clarity, and color that fits your personal style and budget. Instead of settling for pre-set jewelry, you can create something truly unique. With Diamond Hedge, you get access to certified diamonds from trusted retailers, all in one place.
One of the major benefits of buying loose diamonds is transparency. When you shop with Diamond Hedge, each diamond comes with a grading report from renowned labs like GIA or IGI. You’ll be able to compare options side-by-side, view high-definition images, and even try them on virtually—making the selection process clear and simple.
Whether you’re a first-time buyer or a seasoned collector, our platform makes it easy to find exactly what you're looking for. You can compare prices, examine detailed specs, and choose from thousands of ethically sourced diamonds without the pressure of a traditional showroom.
