𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: 𝐌𝐒𝐔-𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐬 𝐜𝐨-𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐊𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐧 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑
by Raydan M. Tangwayan, LPT
Mindanao State University - General Santos City was once again chosen by the City Government of General Santos to organize the Kalilangan Festival 2023. Kalilangan is known as the ‘Cultural Festival’ of the city, which celebrates the shared histories among its Tri-People inhabitants, with a particular focus on their cooperation, unity, and harmonious coexistence, while recognizing their rich cultural heritage and vibrant traditions.
The Kalilangan Festival 2023 adopted a hybrid modality of conducting the festival celebration. Since the partnership between Mindanao State University – General Santos City and the City Government of General Santos in 2011, putting activities online was the least of the priorities. To reminisce, the partnership of LGU-GenSan and the University in hosting the Kalilangan Festival led to its Hall of Fame Distinction as Best Tourism Event of the Philippines-Culture and Arts Category by the Association of Tourism Officers of the Philippines (ATOP) from 2011 to 2013.
When the pandemic hit, the secretariat shifted into a full-blown online Kalilangan Festival. From this experience came the “Kalilangan Festival: Kuru-Kultura,” where all activities, competitions, and contests were conducted online. The 34th Kalilangan Festival and the 84th Foundation Anniversary of General Santos City this year is described as the “vengeance” for the three-year hiatus of social gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
On February 23, 2023, the Honorable Mayor Lorelie Geronimo-Pacquaio opened the ceremony by banging the ‘Agong’ three times symbolically waking up the Generals from three years of social distancing. Former Senator Manny Pacquaio was also present at the program. The Chancellor of Mindanao State University – General Santos City, JD Usman D. Aragasi, MPA, who organized this year’s Kalilangan Festival, entered the stage with glam and colors, depicting the rich Maranao culture. Chancellor Aragasi emphasized the importance of the Local Government and MSU’s partnership in fostering good relationships and highlighting culture and arts.
The Grand Opening Night offered a production like no other as it was performed by the Kuerdas Band, the Mindanao State University’s Kabpapagariya Ensemble, Madayaw Dabaw, Step One, Regional Police Office 12 dancers, and the Ramon Magsaysay Memorial College’s Teatro Ambahanon. Performers showed the roots of Dadiangas, as a representation of a historical milieu, the calamities experienced during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the resulting “Bayanihan” and the acts of kindness, love, and care shown during this most trying time of the city.
Meanwhile, a sea of people was witnessed on the night of February 24, 2023, during the concert of Chocolate Factory, a Filipino reggae band whose songs are popular among the youth, like “Kung Ika’y Akin” and “Letra”. With Chocolate Factory’s presence, Kalilangan Festival 2023 became an opportunity to bond, celebrate, and it served as the revenge of the Generals from the three-year pandemic with restrictions and stay-at-home directives. The Kalilangan Festival Secretariat’s mitigation for security risks was the fostered partnership with the Philippine National Police, City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, and the City Health Office. Thankfully, the crowd was respectful of the rules set by the PNP, like the disallowed backpacks. The celebration ended at around 12 midnight. Aside from music, food, carnival, and flea market contributed to the overall fun experience.
A tribute to the festival sponsors and supporters of the Kalilangan Festival 2023, Daluyan: Sponsor’s Night, was held at the Grand Summit Hotel on February 25, 2023. “The activity is not just a mere social night. This is also an opportunity for small business sectors to venture with others, and for SMEs to initiate possible business partnership”, said Festival Manager, Dr. Alma Celesthia D. Aguja.
The "Kalilangan ng Batang Heneral: Gensan Tri-People Youth Convergence" event was also one of the new activities conducted during the festival. It was held on February 26 at the KCC Convention Center. The event aimed to celebrate diversity and promote cultural appreciation of GenSan's heritage. It brought together the city's youth to collaborate on common issues and concerns that affect them, emphasizing the importance of unity among the youth sector despite cultural differences in the community. The participants were inspired by the message of the City Mayor, Hon. Lorelie G. Pacquiao, about the important role of the youth in the development of General Santos City. Moreover, their resolve was strengthened by the reactions and guidance of guests Reactors, led by no less than the Executive Director of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, Sir Oscar “Oca'' Casaysay, and facilitators led by Al-Nezzar Ali, the Artistic Director of the Kalilangan Festival. The organizers were led by the Mindanao State University - General Santos' Institute for Peace and Development, while the Department of Education (DepEd) principals and teachers who were alumni of the MSU Kabpapagariya Ensemble were also present.
On February 27, 2023, the Wreath-Laying and Parada ng Lahi happened. Parada ng Lahi and Wreath Laying is an institutional activity where flowers, and salute from the people and military men were offered to the late General Paulino Santos. Different government agencies and stakeholders in General Santos City took part in the eagerly awaited parade of history by dressing in traditional attire typical of the city's three main ethnic groups. This event warms and rekindles the sense of solidarity among the city's unique culture. Following the solemn ceremony, there was also a 21-gun salute and a wreath-laying ceremony in commemoration of the contributions of the pioneers of the city, especially General Paulino Santos.
After the Parada ng Lahi, a motorcade led the iconic Kadsagayan Streetdance Parade in the afternoon. The Kadsagayan Street Dance Competition featured five contingents from Lanao del Sur, North Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao Province, and two entries from GenSan, was the highlight of the Grand Finale. The Sibsib National Salindaw Performing Guild of Tulunan, North Cotabato emerged as the champion, while the Sibol Performing Arts of General Santos City took the title of first runner-up and Kulintayaw Performing Artist Collective of General Santos City as the second runner-up. The program was attended by no less than Vice President of the Republic of the Philippines, Her Excellency Sara Z. Duterte, who praised the city's success as the Festival Guest Speaker. “Without a doubt, General Santos City is a shining story of success. As a Mindanawon, we share the pride that you have.” She was introduced by Congressman Loreto B. Acharon, who highlighted the significance of culture in his message. Meanwhile, the City Mayor Lorelie Geronimo Pacquiao gave her welcome message. “Kailangan walang maiiwan na mamamayan sa pag-unlad ng GenSan. Ang nais ko lamang ay ang pamumunong walang lamangan, walang siraan, at walang hilaan pababa dahil ang lahat ng ating pagsisikap ay para sa ikabubuti at ikauunlad ng ating lungsod”, Mayor Pacquiao remarked.
In the closing night of the whole festival celebration, it was filled with powerful vocals, ethno-inspired performances, and a band concert in a native dialect and ended with the declaration and awarding of prizes given by the City Mayor Lorelie Geronimo Pacquiao, First Gentleman Bobby Pacquiao, Festival Director Shandee Llido-Pestaño, and MSU Vice Chancellor Dr. Mishell Lawas, representing Chancellor Usman Aragasi, with a dazzling firework display. The program was followed by band concerts featuring Kuerdas, Rocksteddy, and Cueshe that attracted huge crowds, creating long queues of spectators never before seen in the history of the festival.

Hiii again !! Can I request a song fic for my man Bakugo pleaaase
Love you
Tumblr media
Babe, you never make this easy for me, but... I've got this.... Bruno Mars Marry you is my inspiration for this…
Everyone told you that you were dumb for dating a Pro hero. It was pointless since you'd most likely end up being alone most of the time or even worse, you'd be a widow. It was their negative comments that made you want to prove them wrong. Sure, you were a hero too, even if you weren't as well known as them.
So when you started dating Bakugo, all the negative comments were so much worse. 'He's so abrasive' or 'he's always so angry' were the first things people would say. Your favorite was, 'how could anyone like somebody like that?' the first few times you didn't pay any attention. You avoided people most of the time, but after you and he had been dating for nearly six months, you had enough.
The next person who said anything negative would get your wrath, so when the next person came up to you, you were really aggravated.
"What's it like dating a hero who acts like a villain?" They asked. You screwed your face in anger. Why did everyone suddenly have an opinion of him or your love life?
"Katsuki Bakugo is one of the smartest, amazing people I know. I am sorry that he isn't everyone's 'ideal' hero, but he is my ideal person. He is brave and puts himself in danger to save you, and the public constantly. That is what heroes do. If you think he's that terrible and deserves to be compared to a villain-" You were cut off by a pair of muscular arms wrapping around your waist.
"That's enough babe." He whispered low into your ear. The two of you hardly ran into one another when working, but when you did, he always made a show of it, letting everyone know that you belong to him.
You listened, turned on your heel, and left the civilians where they stood. You and he walked back to his apartment as quickly as you could. You were so angry and mad. When you got there, you felt a wave or relief wash over you.
Bakugo didn’t say a word, he left the room to shower while you made dinner. Something you always did when you were at his place. It just felt nice. You were waiting for dinner to finish when you felt Bakugo warp his strong arms around you once again. He pressed little kisses and nuzzles into your neck, biting and nipping here and there.
Growing a bit frustrated and frisky you turned around to properly kiss Bakugo, while your tongues intertwined, you could sense his hesitation.
“What’s wrong?” You asked him glancing over his face trying to read it.
“Nothing. I am just glad I have you on my side. Unlike those dumbasses.” He told you, but you didn’t believe him.
“I know you’re up to something…what is it?” You asked him unsure of what it was.
“I was thinking of doing something really dumb. It is not dumb for me, but maybe for you. I don’t even know if you like it, so if you say no. I will understand” He asked with a mix of hope and nervous in his voice.
“O…Kay?” You stood there uncertain of what he was about to say.
“I want to marry you.” He told you as he got down on one knee. It wasn’t how he planned it, but seeing you today solidified his feelings about you even more.
You stood there blinking for a moment. You were not sure if what he said was true, not because you didn’t feel the same, but you were not sure if he did. In your mind, you’d take him exactly as he was, could he do the same for you?
“Fuck! I knew it was too soon.” He muttered under his breath as he slowly turned away. His mumbling caught your attention, you saw him walking away sullenly.
“YES!” That was all you could scream out before you tackled him to the floor and placed kisses all over his face.

Hey Lorelie… ☺️
If it’s not too late, could you write a song fic with Kakashi and the song “Safe in arms” by the Scarlet Furies, please? (Pronouns she/her, SFW).
😘
Anything for you Sanaa! I am happy to write this for you!
I hope you like it!
Warning: Fluff
When he arrived home, everything about him seemed off. He was more tired than normal. His body was worn and weary from his lastest mission. He dropped his things at the door, opted for a quick shower, and then straight to the bed.
You never were aware of his schedule, but when you got back from your grocery trip, you saw his things placed neatly by the front door of your shared apartment. Seeing it made your heart leap, but not seeing him in usual place on the couch reading made you a bit concerned.
So when you walked into the room and saw his sleeping form amongst the nest of dogs, your concern melted away. You knew most of his missions he returned home broken, bloodied, and bruised. For now, that secret was his to keep. You were happy he had returned in one piece.
You decided to leave him for now. When the day faded into the night, and he didn’t wake from his slumber, you knew he needed this rest. This wasn’t a rest for just his body, but his soul as well. He slept so deeply and looked so peaceful. When you slipped into bed next to him, and the dogs, he didn’t move.
You snuggled close next to him, after moving a few of the dogs, and played with his silver hair.
“I hope you’re not having any frightful dreams, no battle’s roar, or anything that shakes your trust. I hope you’re dreaming of better days.” You whispered softly into his ear as you curled into him, putting your arms around him. A soft smile formed on his face as he heard your voice.
When the morning fog came rolling in, and the sun started to wake the world, it was as if it healed Kakashi. He stayed in bed to look at your sleeping face, drinking in this soft moment. He placed a kiss on your forehead. This was the home he went out to protect every time he went out on a mission.
“You are the reason I live and breath, my safe haven…” He whispered to you just before he planted a kiss on your cheek and started breakfast for the two of you.
The moment he left the room, you popped your eyes open, and felt your heart swell, and face blush. You definitely couldn’t wait to see what your future together held.

If your requests are still open, could I get a she/her sfw for Shisui with "In My Veins" by Andrew Belle please? Thank you!!! <3
Of Course! This song is so heartbreaking... Thank you for your request, I hope you enjoy this. It is a bit angsty
It didn't matter what you told him. He was leaving you. You had begged, pleaded, and cried for him to stay. He had made up his mind. You'd have given up everything for him. So why did he suddenly want to leave you?
The rule was not to fall in love, that everything was going to be easygoing. So when Shisui told you he couldn't be with you anymore your world shattered. You knew it was the rules you put in place to protect you. So why now did you feel so broken when it was was you wanted?
"Let's take a day apart to say goodbye properly," Shisui suggested. You nodded in a daze, you spent the rest of the day curled in a ball questioning everything.
It was just before dawn when you realized that you were in love with Shisui, and because of all you're stupid rules, you wouldn't allow emotions other than lust to come into the "agreement" you two shared.
Your pride, however, would never let you actually admit the truth to him. So when he came by to say his goodbye you wouldn't ever tell him.
So here you were, whatever speech he prepared, you only half-listened to. The only thing you could think was he was a part of you and you didn't want him to leave. You
"You're in my veins, and I cannot get you out." You cried out to him.
"You're all I taste at night inside of my mouth." He replied sadly but you knew he meant it.
"Oh, you run away, cause I am not what you found?" You retorted hastily. He pinched his nose and breathed out a heavy sigh.
"No, my love. This isn't because of him..." He trailed off. He knew well you were talking about your ex and your past with him.
"Everything will change." You barely whispered.
"Nothing stays the same." He smiled sadly thinking about the whirlwind romance you two shared.
"And nobody here's perfect." You shot back quickly
"Oh, and everyone's to blame?" He asked you, knowing how volatile your moods were. The silence hung heavy amongst the two of you. Everything you wanted to say just sat burning in your chest. You swore to yourself that you'd never chase after another man again. Not after the last one left emotional scars that would probably never heal.
"Will you leave in the morning?" You croaked out from sobs that racked your body. He didn't answer. You stayed where you were crying yourself to sleep. He slipped out quietly without a trace.
In the following months, you lived in a haze. Everything was dark and it was more than you could take. Most nights you drowned your sorrows in any way that would numb the pain. If you'd have just ignored your pride perhaps, you'd be happy. That thought made you laugh, you knew you didn't deserve it.
It was 3 months later when you were woken up from your drunken stupor to a pounding on the outside door of your apartment. You stumbled to open the door.
There you stood face to face with the answer to all your problems...Shisui

Warnings: implied sex, abuse, smoking, death
“You‘re no good for me.” You giggled into his neck while he wrapped his arms around your waist pulling you closer to him.
But, baby, I want you.” He whispered into your ear sending chills down your spine when he spoke in that low husky voice.
Never was there a girl so pretty…” He trailed off as his hands roamed your body, and his lips all over your neck. Your hands in his hair and scratching at his back, and you two barely began anything, but your bodies were on fire.
Each touch sent a different sensation or wave of pleasure. This feeling was everything to you right now, the last thought on your mind before giving in to the ferality of Dabi was, 'Do you think we'll be in love?'
The bright sunlight of the following morning poured into the dingy motel room. You didn't care about all the stains you could see. You assumed most of them were blood, vomit, or other bodily secretions. You headed into the dilapidated bathroom when you heard the door open and shut.
"Y/N!" He called out. "Baby, put on your heart-shaped glasses, cause we're going to take a ride."
You washed your hands quickly, and peeked out from the doorway, "Are you the ride?" You asked him innocently enough but the fire in your belly didn't help any.
"I am gonna teach you just what fast is, baby doll." He told you before leaving the room again. This time he was waiting for you to follow. You found him leaning against his car with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth. Your heart leaped at the sight of his lanky body. He slid into his seat, turned the engine, and let the engine roar to life. You drove south with the windows down and music blasting.
Later after the sun went down, you found yourself and a dusty bar filled with every type of person, that shared the same weary look. Dabi left you at a table alone to get drinks for the both of you, and a room for the night.
A tall man with light hair and dark eyes walked up directly behind you, after watching Dabi leave. He placed his hands on your waist and whispered huskily into your ear.
"I can show you a good time, babe." Mistaking it for Dabi you leaned into him letting his hands travel your body letting out a moan of pleasure. Then a sudden, loud crack was heard, the smell of smoke filled your nostrils and a hand was at your throat. Dabi threw some money on the ground and pulled you out of the bar.
The moment you got to the room, you expected him to be angry to yell at you and punch the wall. He was dead silent. He pushed you against the wall, a mix of lust and fury burned in his cerulean eyes. He raised his hand back and slapped your face hard. The sensation of it felt off.
"You belong to me, and only me." He spat the words at you. He was shaking with anger, and you didn't know why but you liked it when he hit you. He left the motel room for the night and you didn't see him until the next morning.
In the late morning, he walked through the motel door reeking alcohol. You were studying the mark left on your face from Dabi. His hand print was evident, almost burned into your skin. When you were taking too long for his liking, he grabbed you roughly and forced you into the car. You didn't dare say anything to him, realizing that his moods were ever-changing based on what you do or say. You sat in the passenger's seat and sat in silence.
Two hours into the ride, you hadn't paid attention to anything but the only thought you had was 'We both know just what we're here for. Maybe I like this roller coaster. Maybe it keeps me high. Maybe the speed, it brings me closer.' When he suddenly stopped the car, it jolted you out of your thoughts. The fury from the night before hadn't faded, so when he slammed the door you weren't really concerned. He stalked off a few yards to piss on the side of the road. The look on his face walking back was murderous. He glared at you from outside, his eyes never left yours. You were sure he'd kill you if given the choice. It unnerved you, but god, he was divine.
As the drive, and day wore on his anger seemed to have subsided some, when he pulled off the highway to an exit, his mood seemed to have changed.
"Baby, stoppin' at 7-Eleven." Those were the first words he spoke to you since last night. He walked in grabbed a pack of cigarettes, a couple of drinks, and got back into the car. He lit a cigarette, took one disgusted look at you, and handed you a drink. You drank it quickly and decided to fall asleep.
It was late into the evening when you woke up. The moonless sky left you feeling unnerved. You were still in the car while Dabi stood outside. The only sign that he was outside was the hot end of the cigarette that lit up when he sucked in. You broke out into a cold sweat looking at him. "Never was there ever a girl so pretty." He said with a smirk as he leaned into the car to look at you.
"Do you think we'll be in love forever?" he asked you as he climbed into the driver's seat and planted a rough kiss on your lips. You furrowed your eyebrows together, not sure if you heard him correctly. but wanting to enjoy his good mood. You just gave him a smile, hoping that it could be forever.
"You did this baby doll." He spoke hauntingly.
It was his crooked smile when he stepped back outside that looked off. The way his eyes never left yours as if he was peering deep into your soul. When the blue flames engulfed the car there was no emotion on his face when you started choking on the smoke. You were struggling for air. You tried to break open the windows but found yourself getting drowsy quickly. The last thing you before blacking out from the smoke was his apathetic stare of a man you thought you could love.

Hi hello I love your writing and I loved the Shisui fic you wrote for me, thank you!
Could you write one for Yamato? Song of your choice?
Of course, Yamato is such a good man…. so I had to choose something that reminded me of him, and I changed my mind half a dozen times. I guess it's time for angst.
A/N: Doesn't follow the Naruto verse exactly
Warning: Angst, alcohol consumption,
The moment he saw you, he thought you were beautiful. The way the sunlight hit your gorgeous (eye color) eyes, it was as if they were sparkling (gems of matching color). The way your smile seemed to light up the whole world, he could have just melted right where he stood. For a week, it was like that before he grew the courage to come talk to you.
He introduced himself to you the next week, and the two of you shared a few moments. It became the norm for the two of you day after day. After a while, he'd wake up in anticipation to see you. You always made his day better. He was always a gentleman and nothing but cordial to you, so how would you ever know he liked you?
He never told you exactly how he felt about you, but perhaps it was the brush of his hands accidentally against yours and the slight blush on his cheeks afterwards that should have been the telltale sign. Even after that you thought he wasn't interested since he never told you, nor did he give you any signs that he thought of you like that.
You and he would have exchanges like this for months before you would tell him you were interested in someone, but at that point, it no longer was him. It was another quiet, stoic man, who was well liked through out the village. You had gone one a few dates and they went well.
The following morning you were about to tell him when about the dates. You went to the corner waiting, with the biggest smile on your face.
“Yamato! I have some good news!” You gushed to him. He turned to your voice.
“Is that so? You look very pleased with it.” He spoke mirroring your smile and enthusiasm.
“I am not exactly sure how to say this, but here it goes.” You paused briefly. “There is this guy, and I am really interested in him.”
Just at that moment, a bus came clambering down the street and he needed to go. He was so happy and pleased, that you were finally going to confess, that you were interested in him just as he was in you. The rest of his day, he was on cloud nine. When he was asked to go out later he couldn’t help but say yes.
When he did go out that night, he had a little bit too much to drink. When he was happy he did tend to drink a little bit excessively. The group he was with took notice.
“You’ve been in a good mood all day, Yamato. Is there a special lady?” Kurenai asked him laughing, think that wouldn’t be the case, since he was never seen with anyone.
“You bet it is! She’s…” he trailed off thinking about you.
"I saw an angel of that I am sure. She smiled at me." He said to the group before him. Everyone laughed, knowing this story. It happened often he'd talk about you when he was drinking
“Was she with another man?" Asuma asked laughing jokingly.
“She's beautiful, it's true." Yamato slurred his words a bit but smiled widely. He saw your face enter the bar. You walked on by him to a few seats over, and you caught his eye. His face dropped when he saw you place a kiss on Kakashi's cheek.
"Of course...it's always him." He mumbled bitterly into his drink. He chugged it down and asked for another. Yamato wasn't a jealous man, but why did he have to fall for his best friend's girl?
When Kakashi introduced you to everyone, you stood there blushing, and looking like you were in love. The jealousy Yamato felt grew deeper. When Kakashi introduced you to Yamato, you could tell that he was absolutely drunk.
You looked so perfect to him, and all he wanted to do was kiss those perfect lips. Yamato knew he had to get a grip. He quickly said hello and left for the bathroom. The feeling settling in his chest and stomach wasn't getting any better.
When he felt the feelings pass, you were standing outside the bathroom door.
"Are you okay?" you asked him, looking so genuinely concerned for him. 'Why did you have to be dating Kakashi?' was all he could think. He nodded and tried to quickly rush off, but all he did was stumble into you.
"You're beautiful. There must be an angel with a smile on her face that thought up that I should be with. But it's time to face the truth. I will never be with you." Tenzo was so close to your face you could feel his lips ghosting over yours. The pained expression on his face told you all that you needed to know. He walked out of the bar and didn't look back. Leaving you feeling guilty about your decision.

Well I love your writing so Imma ask more !! Zoro for the song fic ! . YOU’RE THE BEST 💕💕
Tumblr media
I chose Break Stuff By Limp Bizkit for this one! I hope you like it…
The night before was a blur, and barely memorable. He remembered going to the pub with the group. He remembered seeing you there, and getting you a drink, but after three drinks there was nothing else. A few random memories popped up of a brawl, seeing his knuckles led him to believe it was true.
As he laid his in the makeshift bed, he groggily got up with the pounding headache, he wanted to know what happened last night but most importantly, he wanted to find you. In his mind, he had believed he’d done something terrible to you.
As he walked throughout the town, he noticed people cowered from him, as they usually did, but more so than normal. He knew most people didn’t like him and he looked scary, but the squinting from the bright sun, didn’t help ease his pain.
He found a pub close to where he had slept, and walked inside. He was thankful for the reprieve from the glaring sun, and a slightly lessened headache.
“W-w-we don’t want no trouble.” The bartender stuttered as he saw him come in.
“I am not here to cause trouble, can I get some water and I am looking for some information.” He told the small man cowering behind the bar.
“S-sure.” He said as he got a glass of water out and set it before him. “I don’t know if it’s right for me to tell you, but you caused a lot of damage to one of the bars on the other end of the dock.” The small man spoke. He listened while drinking his water.
“That seems about right, I am looking for a woman about (your height) with (your hair color), and the most beautiful (eye color). I was with her last night.” He told the bartender.
“Sorry, never saw her, not last night anyway. I did see her when your lot first came to port.” The bartender answered honestly. He thanked him, left some money for his trouble and worked his way down the port.
The higher the sun rose in the sky, the more anxious he grew. He talked to four other bartenders who all gave him some version of the story. He was drunk, out of control, and did quite a bit of damage to the pub he was at. After a few hours, a quick bite to eat, and more scared citizens, he came across the ‘scene of his crime.’
The front window was busted out, there were broken stools, and tables scattered across the pub. It was evident that he did this. He did feel bad. Eager shot Tavern was your bar. You worked there.
He entered the tavern with his head hanging low. He didn’t think about actually looking for you here, and he should have.
“Zoro?” You called out questioningly. His head shot up and toward the sound of your voice. There was a mix of anger, excitement and relief on your face. You quickly wrapped your arms around him, and felt him relax.
“Sorry about your bar, I will help you fix it.” He told you.
“Oh, Zoro, that would be nice, but this wasn’t you. A bunch of ruffians came in here thinking they could flirt with me.” You told him. “Actually, one of them tried to take me home, and when I said no, you stepped in. I mean you did break stuff, but it’s fine. ” You smiled at him. He bent down to give you a proper hug.
“You’re my knight in shining armor.” You told him as you placed a sweet, chaste kiss on his lips. As you did, he wrapped his large, muscular arms around your waist and pulled you up to deepen the kiss.
“I’d do it again, but you know I really wanted to kill them for even looking at you in the wrong way. You belong to me, and no one else.” He told you before carrying you up the stairs to have you help him relieve him of his headache.

hi lorelie!! may I request kabuto and the song Just To See You Smile by Tim McGraw? they/them pronouns and SFW, if you don't mind. thank you!! 💜
Ari, my love, your wish is my command…
Here you were in all the places in the world, you were with Kabuto. You always didn’t get along in the past, and angry words crossed your minds and were spoken. Sometimes you’d hadn’t seen eye to eye.
Here in this moment, after a few long years of working alone but together amounted to this sort of semblance of a relationship... Friendship? Yes, you could call it that indeed.
Suddenly, it all changed at once, but not at all. Kabuto would bring your favorite Chai tea, which he made himself. He'd go out of his way to talk more kindly to you. When Orochimaru was on his way to tear you apart for messing up, something you really did, Kabuto took the blame. It went on like this many times.
Then for you, everything changed. It was as if you two had just decided that you were going to be friends but you felt like it was something more. You no longer dreaded the time spent with Kabuto, he didn't seem as scary as most would've made him out to be.
Today, happened to be particularly hard for you, for no reason. Nothing went right for you. The experiments you were working on were all failures or didn't yield any results at all. You felt the stinging of tears in your eyes. You avoided Kabuto as much as you could, but he still knew.
When your eyes finally met, the tears were rolling down your cheeks. That hurt him more than he'd ever let on. You walked away to take some time and space for yourself. That was when you realized, he wasn’t like anyone else. He was more than you could have ever hoped for. You walked away from a whole world before this.
”Just to see you smile, I’d do anything that you wanted me to.” He spoke as you walked toward him. Your heart melted, why couldn’t you see before that all this time he wasn’t the issue, you were.
You walked right up to him placed a soft kiss on his cheek, and gave him a genuine smile.
“How about spending time together that isn’t here in the lab?” You asked. To which, he gulped, smiled, and nodded a yes while his face grew warm.
It seemed your day and future suddenly got brighter. Everything was only looking up from here.

Hiiiii!!! I just saw your song fic event open.
If you are still taking requests and its not too much of a not her, if like to request "secret love song-little mix" for Dabi or Hawks with a fem! Reader
oooh boy.... anon, what a prompt. I could have done both, but I chose Dabi for this one. This is such a good song too!
PS: sorry it took so long to write, I had a few things happen that prevented me from getting this out earlier!
Warning: swearing, implied sex, physical abuse, promiscuity
Everything was wrong. Days were dark, nights were long, and your world was dull. The awful fight that ultimately led to your break up. You’d deny it to everyone else, but you were in love with Dabi. Yeah, he was a villain, and every hero was looking for him.
You couldn’t stand being cooped up in the hideout, you craved freedom, and you were tired of hearing Shigaraki scratching his skin, and Toga talking about her “loves”, that fucking psycho had no idea what it was.
The night you met was in a dark, dingy club. He was looking for anything to numb his pain, and you were there looking for a dangerously good time. Dabi was that thrill you were seeking. You were the cure to his state of mind.
Your carnal instincts took over and you two were feral for one another. At least for the first month, and when your heat died down, his mood soured. You guys went from going out and not being able to keep your hands, and mouth of one another to a fizzle in less than it took for summer to fade into fall.
When you realized that you fell hard for Dabi it was already over. When the weather cooled, you two started going out less, hanging out in the hideout more, you felt trapped and more alone than ever before.
No matter how close you got to Dabi, he always pulled away. Not just emotionally, and you knew he threw up a thousand walls for good reason, you were sure, but it still hurt. You'd pretend it was fine, for a bit until you couldn't take it anymore. Then you'd explode at him, he'd push back, physically and mentally. Those nights you swore the two of you could set the whole world ablaze and you would.
The last fight you had, you swore it would end up the same as any other, but when you're blurred vision only saw Dabi's frame walking away, and you were left sputtering for air. You hated that you loved him with every fiber of your being.
Months had passed, and you told yourself you'd eventually get over him, and forget that he was ever a part of your life. So when you decided that you'd sleep your pain away with any man who'd have you, it would be fine.
Five months you had made yourself forget everything about him, the way he looked so at peace when he was asleep, the way his hips looked in his pants, the easy look of lust that filled his eyes, all of it gone. You were at yet another sleazy bar with the man who you had in your sights. Then he walked in.
Your whole body stopped and for a brief second your eyes met. Your breathing hitched, all the memories instantly flooded your mind. The way he tasted on your tongue, the harsh, rough touches. You felt your stomach lurch when he looked through you. You wanted to scream out I'm yours. But, the only thing you could think was 'Why can't it be like that? The way it used to be.'
When he walked by not paying any attention to you, you knew saw the dead look in his eyes. He wasn't the same Dabi you loved. You loved a version that was much different from the one standing in front of you. The only thing you hoped is that when the day came because you knew it would, that he'd spare your life because maybe he still loved you too.
