I really really REALLY want to like the new Duck Tales

Everything seems spot on

Here goes: The Ducktales reboot is pretty interesting because it's actually a combination of the old Scrooge Mcduck comics, and the original ducktales tv show, Since the comics had Donald Duck joining Scrooge and the triplets on their adventures a lot, but in the original show he showed up once or twice (maybe the voice actor was too expensive, idk) and they've kept Scrooge and Donald's clothing from the comics (in the tv show he wears blue but in the comics and reboot 1/

wears red, but as a change for the reboot they’ve decided to modernize things a little like making the female characters the only ones to wear skirts and actually giving the kids (Hewy, Dewy, Louie and Webby) individual personalities and voice actors (incredibly, this didn’t happen in the original) as well as making things a bit more diverse, like actually casting a scottish actor for scrooge, making Fenton Crackshell a Latino character played by a Latino actor, and including black and brown 2/

actors and actresses behind the scenes. I also really love the animation style, it’s been designed specifically to look like comic style hand drawn animation (the title card even has those comic book spots on it) but it’s clean and sharp, looking new and nostalgic at the same time, giving the adventures bright colours and amazing backdrops. The adventures too look so interesting, like Scrooge is riding on a dragon (and I always get so happy when the theme song plays :D) and Launchpad gets 3/

snakes dropped on him and they’re in a submarine and a plane and I think donald gets heatstroke in a desert and of course theres Flintheart Glomgold who is Scrooge’s rival and presumably he’s got the other villains with him somewhere and it just looks like another amazing cartoon show and I can’t wait for it to come out and for me to get invested in these characters and their adventures! Thank you for sharing this! This was incredibly interesting to read about and I’ve learned a lot! I - personally - have never seen the original TV show. (Well I’ve seen small parts of some episodes, but it’s nothing I can remember)

Stu, so me and my younger sibling were watching the ducktales season finale as I usually watch it with them because I somehow loved the show thanks to them but Paget Brewster voices one of the characters!! I'm like freaking out!

I love Ducktales. I have the OG Series on dvd, but I haven’t seen the new one?! I need to. Do you watch it on TV/service/ or??? I need to get some Hewy Dewy and Louie back in my life. Not to mention Launchpad, is he still a dreamboat? lol!!!
