I love angsgd snhsjdhdhdhf im sorry im incoherent rn i thrive on perpetual sadness ajsbdhdhfh for angst, im just generally a pretty pessimistic & sad person LMAO i just draw the emotions i need from day-to-day life. but also, what you find angst can be different to other people, so don't conform to one writing style/trope/etc.

personally, i really resonate with stories where the angst is almost always heavily internal conflict. one of my favourite themes/motifs is the morally good character losing hope in the world bcs reasons 😩😩✨ i think to write effective angst, you shouldn't be afraid of making the character morally reprehensible. go crazy!!! go wild!!!!

I've found that instead of simply describing the character's sadness and confusion, it's better to show it through other characters' points of view. it is much more effective to show how the pain is affecting a character than it is to simply describe it. i adore seeing a character become a walking disaster and feeling helpless to stop it 👁 ehe

a weakness of mine is writing moments instead of actual plot tbh. i tend to visualise the climax before i know how to reach it 😞😞😞

ooooo exactly that !!!! like I feel like angst rlly can be pretty broad but is also really limited with tropes and sort of repitive concepts (like imagine a couple fighting, it tends to b smth building then the arguing, someone says smth out of pocket and bam, the other person is hurt and they forgive their partner, or feel even more disconnected/break ties)

romance against is pretty limiting but brain rot for other kinds of angst can b kind of amazing but so painful 😭 family angst, best friend angst, just severed relations even without closure from both sides, just ✨angst✨ tho internal crumbling is also such a concept tho morally good to losing hope is almost a beautifully evil 180 LMAOO-

pls I rlly needed to half hear that 😭 because for haikyuu there’s not a lot of room for charas falling apart if that makes sense like w genshin it’s doable and you feel like it’ll b ok (it’s hard to explain but I hope to one day elaborate on this)
