KYLE: [A low rumble of a growl drums like thunder in his chest before Kyle walks up to the Caster and – instead of shaking Damien’s hand like the other previous combatants, he spits a mixture of saliva and blood directly into his face.] No magic, no teeth. Other than that, no rules. Howell, you ref this round: Harry Potter’s mine. 

LOU: Ooof– [he playfully pretends to wince, taking a step back toward the side of the ring and getting into position.] Hope that one hit felt good, baby face; you’re not gonna get another.

AKIRA: [He turns to look at the people that are suddenly standing next to him, surprised to discover that it’s Sage Grimsbane and her apprentice, Morgyn Ember, flanking him on either side.] Aren’t you guys gonna stop this?! Like, feel fuckin’ free to hop in any time!

LUMIONA: Fates no, fledgling. [The Sage laughs, leaning back against the fence and crossing her arms over her chest comfortably.] Apart from protecting our interests, we’re merely here to point and laugh. 

MORGYN: Any maiming Damien Charm incurs from the reckless running of his mouth is entirely inconsequential; the only thing we intend to stop is the potential premature end of the bloodline he carries. That one family has produced centuries of extraordinary relic-hunters, without the heir apparent to produce more of them, the future of our Magical Artifact Archaeology Department is at risk of potential utter ruination. Don’t worry – he’ll make it out alive enough but there will be no bail-out or intervention prior to that point. 

AKIRA: [smirks] I don’t know if you hear this a lot, Your Sageness, but the way you call people fledgling is wicked sexy–  MORGYN: You didn’t happen to make the cut for the list of valuable assets requiring protection, Akira; if you end up electrocuted until crispy by Grimsbane’s hand, that’s not my problem.
