► LISTEN to this Playmoss playlist: Good Fridays by Esplendor Geométrico Esplendor Geométrico is a Spanish duet formed by Arturo Lanz and Saverio Evangelist, genuine pioneers of industrial music and EBM. With a really extensive and avant-garde discography to their credit, their harsh, cold and hypnotic sound has influenced artists like Autechre and Pan Sonic. Esplendor Geométrico will be performing at the 981Heritage festival tomorrow at Sala El Sol in Madrid, Spain.
Arturo Lanz has prepared a playlist with tracks from ten essential records of industrial music you must listen to before you die. As one would expect, it is a strong selection of tunes that irradiates darkness and noise in equal shares, in which we find from pioneers of the genre like Throbbing Gristle, SPK, Whitehouse and Maurizio Blanchi to more present-day musicians of dark ambient and dark wave. - SPK - Post Mortem Maria Luisa - Esplendor Geométrico Whitehouse - Dedicated to Peter Kurten NON - Storm Lustmørd - At Thee Mountains Of Madness Haus Arafna - Für Immer The Grey Wolves - Klandestine Amerikkka Genocide Organ - Saddams Day Maurizio Bianchi - Accop (6) Ehte
