It's a pretty 𝖘olid inference- you h𝓐d the option to HEINOUS GRAFTED RITUAL INFILTRATE GUARDHOUSE earlier, so that other room next to the lab mus𝕥've been that- and a guardhouse is the sort of thing the SEXY UNCERTAIN SECURITY ANNEX would map to in this vampire castle datasoul world. Which means there's only two are𝚊s left- the TUXEDO VEG CEILING EXECUTIVE LODGING and the FOES' PRACTICE ROOF CORPORATE OFFICES. Since that dark room earlier was just one room, it probably wasɴ't the entire company's corporate offices- so if you head there, you should head straight to the boss. 𝓘f anyone can help you, he can.
You head through the CREEP AERATION RECEPTION AREA and into that dark room, groping around for a light⒮witch. You find one, flicking on a nearby 𝘵orch somehow, and find...
Oh, for crying out loud. It takes you a second to parse it, since here it looks like a vast dungeon with cells and 𝓫loodstains and ball-and-cha𝐢ns, but... the cell walls are a few feet high, and obviously correspond to cubicles. Շhe room is a lot larger than you expected, but it's an open-plan office, so you can see the whole thing- it's weirdly small for being the CORPORATE OFFICES of the Ninelite Design Center. Way more of the building seems dediςated to R&D than it does to paperwork.
Some of the bugs occupying this office are a little unusual. In fact, they might not even really exist.
A working professional needs professional pig-shaped facial ђair. A PRO'S PORCINE GOATEE is a strong indicator of their business acumen, and this one's is seriously piggy.
One of thє office drones here would like to PREACH STEALTH, telling you not to just trash the place- you should sneak around the office, instead! It's fine- they'll pretend you're not here!
That's it. ENOUGH! A LEISURE BED! Ўou've got to get some damn shut-eye for once, and relax a little bit. This extremely out-of-place workplace nap station can help with that.
Another office drone is really huge and STRONG (POLITE, THOUGH). You wouldn't want to fight this jacked pencil-pusher, but it probably isn't going to attack you and mak🇪 a scene.

Chris Bressi on Virtual Reality in Education: A Game-Changer for Students

Education is constantly evolving, with new technologies shaping how students learn and interact with content. Among the most transformative innovations in recent years is Virtual Reality (VR), a tool that immerses students in interactive, three-dimensional learning experiences. Chris Bressi, a leader in education technology consulting, has been at the forefront of integrating VR into classrooms, helping educators revolutionize their teaching methods. By leveraging VR, students are no longer confined to textbooks; instead, they can explore historical sites, conduct science experiments, and even experience different career paths in a fully immersive way.
What is Virtual Reality in Education?
Virtual Reality in education refers to the use of computer-generated environments that simulate real-world or imaginary experiences. These experiences allow students to engage with their subjects on a deeper level, making learning more engaging, interactive, and effective. VR technology includes:
Headsets (such as Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, and Google Cardboard)
Interactive software designed for specific educational topics
360-degree videos that provide immersive learning environments
Chris Bressi believes that VR has the potential to redefine traditional education by offering students experiential learning opportunities that were previously impossible.
How Virtual Reality Enhances Learning
VR is not just about flashy technology; it has practical applications that address real challenges in education. Here are some of the key benefits Chris Bressi highlights:
1. Increased Student Engagement
One of the biggest struggles in education is keeping students engaged. Traditional learning methods, such as lectures and textbooks, can often feel monotonous. VR transforms learning into an exciting adventure, where students actively participate rather than passively consume information.
For example, history lessons can transport students to ancient civilizations, allowing them to walk through the ruins of the Colosseum or experience life in medieval castles. This level of engagement leads to better retention and understanding of complex concepts.
2. Enhanced Understanding Through Experiential Learning
Many subjects, particularly in science and engineering, require hands-on experience. VR makes it possible for students to conduct chemistry experiments safely, explore the human anatomy in 3D, or build and test virtual engineering models without the limitations of a physical lab.
Chris Bressi notes that VR helps bridge the gap between theory and practice, allowing students to learn by doing rather than simply memorizing information.
3. Accessibility and Inclusivity
Education should be accessible to everyone, regardless of location or physical ability. VR breaks down barriers by offering students the ability to explore and interact with content from anywhere. Students with disabilities can benefit from customized VR experiences that cater to their needs, making education more inclusive than ever before.
For example, students who cannot participate in traditional physical education can engage in virtual sports and fitness activities, ensuring they remain active and involved.
4. Safe Learning Environments
Some educational activities pose risks when conducted in real life, such as medical training, hazardous chemical experiments, or space exploration simulations. VR provides a controlled and safe environment for students to practice and refine their skills before applying them in real-world situations.
Medical students, for instance, can practice virtual surgeries before working on real patients, drastically reducing errors and improving confidence.
5. Career Exploration and Job Training
VR is not just beneficial for K-12 education; it also plays a crucial role in career development and vocational training. Through VR, students can experience different professions firsthand, helping them make more informed career choices.
Chris Bressi emphasizes the importance of early exposure to career paths, as it allows students to explore industries such as engineering, architecture, medicine, and aviation through virtual job simulations.
Examples of Virtual Reality in Education
Numerous schools and institutions have already started implementing VR into their curriculum. Some of the most impactful applications include:
Google Expeditions: Allows students to take virtual field trips to museums, outer space, or inside the human body.
Labster: Provides virtual science labs where students can conduct experiments safely.
zSpace: A VR education platform used for STEM learning, allowing students to manipulate 3D objects in real-time.
VR simulations for special education: Helping students with learning disabilities engage in more interactive and personalized learning experiences.
Challenges and Considerations
While VR is a powerful tool, Chris Bressi acknowledges that there are challenges to its widespread adoption:
High Costs: VR headsets and software can be expensive, making it difficult for some schools to afford the technology.
Teacher Training: Educators must be properly trained on how to incorporate VR into their lesson plans effectively.
Content Development: Not all subjects have ready-made VR content, requiring institutions to invest in custom content creation.
Despite these challenges, Bressi believes that continued investment and innovation will make VR more affordable and accessible in the near future.
The Future of Virtual Reality in Education
As technology advances, VR will become an even more integral part of education. Chris Bressi envisions a future where virtual classrooms become common, allowing students from around the world to learn together in shared digital spaces.
Emerging trends that will shape the future of VR in education include:
AI-powered VR experiences that adapt to individual learning styles.
Haptic feedback technology for realistic touch and interaction.
Augmented Reality (AR) integration, blending virtual elements with the real world.
Bressi believes that, with the right investments, VR can revolutionize education accessibility, student engagement, and career preparation.
Virtual Reality is not just a futuristic concept; it is a real and transformative tool that is already reshaping education. Chris Bressi has been instrumental in promoting VR adoption in classrooms, helping educators integrate this technology to create more dynamic, engaging, and effective learning experiences.
While challenges remain, the potential of VR in education is undeniable. Schools and institutions willing to embrace this revolutionary technology will provide students with unparalleled learning opportunities, preparing them for the world of tomorrow.
For educators and institutions interested in implementing VR in their curriculum, working with Chris Bressi CONSULTANTS can provide the guidance needed to harness the power of immersive learning and transform the future of education.

Roberto Paci Dalò In Two Worlds
01. Elie 02. Code 03. Files 04. Remix 05. Tallinn
All compositions by Roberto Paci Dalò. 2002 handwritten text a mesostic by John Cage dedicated to Roberto Paci Dalò design Lora Casadei thanks Vincent Delvaux, Andrea Felli, Philippe Franck, Gabriele Frasca, Lab[au], Andres Loo, Maks Surin, Fujui Wang L'Arte dell'Ascolto –a project of Giardini Pensili produced by Roberto Paci Dalò © 2004 Roberto Paci Dalò (p) 2004 L'Arte dell'Ascolto In Two Worlds backstage
The title comes from a mesostic John Cage wrote after concert I gave in New York City at the Experimental Intermedia Foundation A great venue - directed by composer Phill Niblock - which is still keeping the "loft" atmosphere of the 60's. John came to the concert and few days later we met in his flat. At that occasion he gave me this mesostic which obviously is one of the most important (very few) things I own! Elie is dedicated to cellist/composer/conductor Jean-Paul Dessy's son. I created the piece in my former studio in Rome in may 2002. Code, Files, Remix originally are one single composition commissioned by the Netdays Festival in Brussels 2002. Philippe Franck and Vincent Delvaux / Transcultures proposed to me the making of a sound piece as a collaborative project together with media architects Lab[au] (laboratory for architecture and urbanism) in order to produced an installation in the public space: RE:MAP Instead of dealing solely with my own usual materials, I thought that was probably more interesting to think about other musicians presence at the festival. So I sampled sounds from works by all of them and with this database I created the piece. This installation work has been presented in Brussels next to the Brigittines, a former beautiful little church converted now into a performing arts space. Tallinn has been recorded live in concert in Tallinn (Estonia) in 2002. I've been invited to perform there by a friend: Maksim Surin cult figure of the Estonian scene. I love Estonia and Nordic countries in general and I particularly enjoyed that event. That's why I wanted to include e little excerpt in this first album.
All these pieces have a lot to do with my interested in cities and urban sonic & visual explorations. Kind of environmental pieces dealing with city life. I took the photographs in the CD during a painful and endless night trip by train from Torino to Rome. Everything has been mixed and postproduced at the Giardini Pensili Studio between Rome and the Rimini hills. – RPD L'Arte dell'Ascolto LADA001

Okay now that I Don’t Think You Hate This is done, self-indulgent author’s commentary time, because what’s even more fun than writing a story is rambling about the process of writing the story because i did all this work damn it please look at it
The last line of Time’s End is meant to hint at something specific about how this story was framed. The hidden narrator is the Time Piece. The narration is all in third person present as it’s designed to imply you’re experiencing a sequence of memories in real time as they happen, as if the Time Piece is showing you all the events that occurred from Snatcher’s memory that would have been stored in the rift, hence why the story starts with Time Piece shattering, and ends precisely with Time Piece rifting. It’s more meant to be a fun meta easter egg though, so I didn’t make it too overt
Now that all the threads are tied up, I can talk about all the different things I set up way the fuck in advance of the finale:
Meeting the bird directors in Well-Adjusted was both because they were included on the cruise doodles, but also to begin developing enough of a friendship that it would make sense for Snatcher to talk to them in Time’s End.
Mak suggested in one of their notes a while back that in the boss battle against Vanessa, Snatcher would make some kind of sacrifice play involving the Time Piece that represented his final choice to stay human. While I couldn’t make it work with the mechanics of the Time Piece proper, the entire stasis sealant plot line (started in Lab Notes) was specifically so I could set up a choice of that nature, where he can both literally and symbolically give up his ability to change back to a ghost.
As a corollary, the mail hat being a hybrid brewing hat gave me the chance to a) give him a hint of his old powers back, which emotionally would help his feelings of helplessness and b) give me an easy way for me to let him literally have the sealant in his back pocket at any moment, allowing him to make the split decision he does in the finale
Whenever Hat talks about what it means to be a part of a family, it was also setting up the kids’ specific baggage around that and the specific type of loneliness they’ve dealt with so that when she and Snatcher have their climactic argument, it should have more impact because you have a better conception of what it means for them to consider him part of their family and why they would be so afraid of the idea of things changing
Likewise, the very visceral descriptions of his disconnect from Subcon ended up being really handy in heightening his emotional state when the forest was being threatened at the end, so at the point of the argument, nobody is in a rational state of mind and they act and speak accordingly
In Luka, the split second moment of him overheating the prototype sealant and having it explode is meant to foreshadow the strategy he uses to beat Vanessa. I intentionally hid it behind a much more distracting character moment (his name drop). Having a whole scene dedicated to him learning the umbrella laser also did double duty as a fun moment from the doodles while also being another key ingredient to that plot point
Muscle Memory and You Know Me were both written before I figured out the rest of the plot, hence why they kind of stand out in terms of pacing and narrative style
Despite all this planning, there was so much that went off the rails from my original plans, as per usual. Originally I was going to have him build his relationships with each of the characters individually, but it felt weird to separate the kids too much, so even though they do have a number of one-on-one scenes, I mostly had them do things together and tried to contrast the kids different personalities within the same scenes. This was hard sometimes because Hat Kid is so outspoken and sassy while Bow is comparatively shy, so she actually gets more of the solo interactions to balance it out.
They’re going to make a big treehouse network in the forest as their new home

Tonight we were in the MAK (Museum of Applied Arts) in Vienna. The Uncanny Values and the Design Lab exhibition is very cool, if you are in the city, check it out! There is a lot of things I want to say, but the most important thing is we are living here, in Vienna now finally and we are very happy and relieved. I'm starting to feel placidity, harmony and some calm. We have a few things to do at home (for example suing someone and do my very finals at the Uni), but it's just fine. Eveything is just fine. #vienna #mak #wien #museumofappliedarts https://www.instagram.com/p/B0ji8Bohem1/?igshid=1u52w4yuekbl
