MAPOLY fixes Dec 30, 2022 as registration deadline, 2022/2023

Authorities of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, have announced Friday, 30th December 2022 as the registration deadline for all categories of students. Any candidate who failed to pay all prescribed fees would be deemed to have lost interest in the provisional admission and thereby forfeited the admission. MAPOLY fixes Dec 30, 2022 as registration deadline, 2022/2023 It should be noted that the 2022/2023 academic session started on Monday, 21st November 2022 in line with the Academic Calendar. All newly admitted students for National Diploma Full-Time and Higher National Diploma Full-time and Part-time Programmes are, therefore, to complete their registrations as well as Returning Students on or before Friday, 30th December 2022 excluding those on SIWES. Similarly, the e-learning platform https://lms.mapolyng.com/ will be available, only to those who have completed their registrations for the semester to complement in-person lectures. I don’t tend to support the Green Party. Just not my thing, I guess. But my family couldn’t stomach supporting Bill Galvin. He’s an artifact of the past, a relic of a long gone era of politics. I’m tired of him. And so, I threw my support behind Green-Rainbow candidate Juan Sanchez. My allegiance isn’t with the Democratic Party, it’s with people like me, workers and LGBTQ+ people who have gotten shitdeals until now. Juan Sanchez has our back. I’ve seen no evidence to say the same about Bill Galvin.

I got a quick photobomb selfie with Governor Baker! It’s not the first time I’ve been in a photo with him. The Boston Herald featured a number of photos, including on the front page, of me staring at him during a speech and shouting him down afterwards when we were trying to get the trans public accommodations law passed a few years back! I also spoke about his reluctance in a few radio and TV outlets. To give him credit though, he did eventually sign the law, if quietly. And he’s probably one of the only really decent Republicans I know nowadays. And I honestly think he’s done a pretty decent job as Governor. Anyway, I’m just hoping he doesn’t hold a grudge! Had a wonderful time last night meeting with the Green Tape Movement at UMass Amherst. These student activists are the future of queer rights in Massachusetts, & I’m excited that I get to be a part of it!

If you haven’t heard of them Green Tape is a student run organization fighting for bathroom rights at UMass. Everyone deserves a space, & they’re making sure that non-binary & genderqueer people stop being left behind.
