This has been said a million times before, but new people join the mh fandom yesterday, usually younger people who don't know better, so I will make this PSA again:

Don't bother creators with shipping stuff or fanfiction (unless they specifically ask for it). I still see it with people going on social media like discord and twitter asking "what are your thoughts on Jay x Alex" etc, etc. That is a super uncomfortable question to answer for most creators. Respect their boundaries.

I write fanfiction - but I keep that segregated to tumblr and Ao3 (all except for the Hacky fic because let's be real that was gold). If people want to read it, they will find it, but I don't go out there and shove my R-rated fic onto a public server like "hey - hey read this." And please - while I don't think my content is share worthy, if you do, please don't be going directly to the creators on discord asking them to read it. I haven't had that problem yet luckily. (Well as far as I know).

So once again: Respect creators boundaries, don't go asking uncomfortable questions and personal life things. We keep the shipping contained to our personal dumpster fires. It's stuck in the Suez Canal and it's not going anywhere.
