Theme : Pyramid Game
How would it feel if the reader used to be friends with Kim Dayeon, but because of Dayeon's excessive behavior, reader left her. Then, the reader being friends with Eunjeong. Would Dayeon feels jealous or not and will she trying to bring reader back to her?
This scenario pop out from my brain because of episode 8🤺🤺
Dayeon honestly is the type of person who doesn't appreciate someone when she has them and only realizes after losing them (Damn I have so many ideas for her with this prompt) and that was with you. Dayeon only had two people who were actually loyal to her but she was so shitty to both of you it ended up with you leaving.
She never bullied you after though, just left you alone even if she missed having you around even if she wouldn't admit that and would hide it well until you started hanging out with Eunjung more after Yerim distanced herself from her. Dayeon was so jealous of how much you looked like you enjoyed having Eunjung close but she couldn't do anything as Eunjung wasn't a Grade F.
I think Dayeon wouldn't approach you at all no matter how much she would want to and would just drown in her regret alone.

How would you define how Yoohyun feels about Yerim? Since obviously his opinion of her has improved since they first met, but I don't know if he actually likes her
HMMM i don't know that Yoohyun is actually like physically capable of liking anyone besides Yoojin! i'm kidding but also only slightly. like if you remember what Irin says in chapter 287, it goes "AN INSANE PROPORTION OF YOOHYUN'S THOUGHTS ARE ABOUT YOU [YOOJIN] COMPARED TO THOUGHTS ABOUT ANYONE ELSE I PROMISE", so if you're including his feelings towards Yoojin as a comparison point, it's going to skew the chart to unreasonable levels, and it'd look like the answer is No, Yoohyun doesn't care about Yerim at all
HOWEVER. if you EXCLUDE Yoojin from the chart then Yerim actually ends up being one of the two people Yoohyun likes most! with the other being Peace. from 287, in Irin's words, 80% of Yoohyun's thoughts that aren't about Yoojin are instead about Yerim and Peace. of course, that's exclusively based on the fact that Yerim and Peace both also like Yoojin the most. Yoohyun cares about other people in proportion to how much they care about his hyung, single-minded little idiot that he is /affectionate.
BUT THAT ASIDE! i think he does care about Yerim in a couple different respects. one is that he trusts her in a way that's different from people like Seok Simyeong or Kim Sunghan—you'll notice that in chapter 239, he explicitly designates her (and Peace) as the first two people he actually recognizes as part of "his world", which is a position not even his closest guild members have enjoyed, despite him clearly trusting them to do their jobs well and look after Yoohyun himself to some degree. he trusts her to look after Yoojin, which is probably the deepest level of belief he can hold in someone other than his hyung. and for the same reason—that she cares above all for Yoojin and his happiness and his safety, and can back up that care with the ability to protect him—i do think he likes her!
Yoohyun also cares about Yerim's wellbeing (again, in relation to Yoojin! in that he knows Yoojin will be sad if Yerim isn't okay. this is something a lot of people who care about Yoojin are aware of and account for: that they can take care of him indirectly by looking after the other people he loves. you see it with Sung Hyunjae lending Yerim his flame-resistant coat in chapter 126, and Yoo Myeongwoo making sure Yoohyun has the best equipment in chapter 240, both for Yoojin's sake). she's not only important to Yoojin himself, from which Yoohyun derives some level of actual care, but also one of Yoohyun's guild members and technically part of his family, which adds a sense of duty and responsibility for her into the mix. remember when he blew Gakuto through a pillar because he called Yerim a bitch in chapter 215 with the whole That's My Guild Member You Motherfucker attitude... i thought that was pretty funny of him. and like. when Yoojin was straight up dead for a while there in 240, the only thing stopping Yoohyun from following him into death on the spot was the thought that he had to make sure Yerim (and Peace and the others) knew. so that they could actually grieve him instead of just never knowing what had happened to him. he cares about them!!! he does!!! it's like trying to find a needle in a haystack compared to his love for Yoojin but he does!!!!!
of course i do also think that Yoohyun finds her incredibly annoying. they're constantly squabbling, this isn't a far-fetched guess, they fight to the point that chopsticks somehow end up embedded in the dining room wall and yoojin has to scold them to quit it in chapter 171. yerim's constantly on the verge of calling him ugly. that one time early on in chapter 48 when she was like WHY ARE YOU SO MEAN TO ME and he trotted out a whole bullet point numbered list without missing a beat. i bet he still has a list now, just with different reasons on it. but like. that's just normal siblings innit. you care about each other a whole fucking lot but you would also sell them to satan for one corn chip or however that goes.
TL;DR: yoohyun likes her but he'd probably die before he said that in as many words. not out of unwillingness or anything, just because it wouldn't occur to him to. yerim knows without him needing to say it, after all.
(where's my evidence for that, you ask. well! spoiler excerpt from chapter 331 from Yerim's POV about how Yoohyun has acknowledged and accepted her below the cut)
However, she couldn’t help the presence of anxiety in her relationship with Han Yoojin. It was love that all but dropped out of the sky one day. The claim that it was because she was an S-rank Awakened person wasn’t enough. What was more, Han Yoojin was crowded with exceptional people at his side. Han Yoojin clearly cared for Bak Yerim, but it was difficult for Bak Yerim to think she was special to him. Couldn’t it be that what she’d suddenly gained might suddenly disappear? The one who quelled that anxiety she tried to ignore was none other than Han Yoohyun. Han Yoohyun had hated Bak Yerim. Because his hyung liked her. Han Yoohyun had accepted Bak Yerim. Because she liked his hyung. Han Yoohyun had acknowledged Bak Yerim. Because she had the ability to protect his hyung. It was a relationship entirely based on Han Yoojin, but if anything, Bak Yerim was relieved and happy because of that. This was Han Yoohyun, who Han Yoojin was everything to, who was beyond difficult when it came to things relating to him. That harsh guy had accepted Bak Yerim standing by his hyung’s side.
points at them. Yerim feels accepted and cared for by Yoohyun

❦You've been dating yeri for about 6 months now eversince you both met at school you were a senior high school student meanwhile yeri had just graduated from junior highschool. After all those months yeri finally took the courage to introduce you to her older sister Irene.
Yeri had told you everything you needed to know about irene so you wouldn't worry about anything once the both of you met, but there was something you weren't aware of when you were about to meet irene. She was VERY protective of her little sister yeri so she would do everything what it takes to make you break up with yeri, irene sounds mean right? Well not until you finally met her. She was worst that you've thought.
Yeri held onto your hand taking a deep breath before knocking at the door of her home, the door had finally creaked open seeing irene with a happy smile on her face. "Hello! Yerimie how was s-" Before irene had finished her sentence she sees you holding yeri's hands. "Who is this girl?" Yeri bit her lower lip nervously, "Irene eonnie this is my girlfriend.. Her name is kim y/n". You let go of yeri's hands to bow down at irene as a sign of respect towards her. "Hello miss irene, my name is kim y/n I have heard a lot of amazing things about you from your little sister.. I hope we could get along" Irene rolled her eyes, "yerim come in, you y/n or whatever you are go in the living room with yeri."
Clearly irene didn't have a good feeling about you since she had no trust in you she decided to take it up a notch to really prove if you were really loyal and caring to her little sister, she hurriedly placed those tiny cameras in yeri's bedroom and kitchen just allover the house, but not in the bathroom ofcourse. That's too much if irene had put a camera in the bathroom, then she went into kitchen acted like as if nothing happened.
She was watching the both of you in her ipad seeing what you two would in the living room while she was in the kitchen, "Yah darling, I'm sorry if my eonnie seemed so mean she's just not fond of people being with me.." You smiled softly at yeri, "no no its okay I understand your sister could be like that she's just being protective of you." You held her hand and kissed it softly earning a blush from yeri. Meanwhile irene listened and watched in disgust, "ugh what even is this a kdrama?", she turned off her ipad and decided to prepare dinner.
But then a mischievous idea lit up in Irene's head she decided to add a bottle of hot sauce in yeri's kimchi while no sauce at all on y/n's kimchi, she called out for the two "girls dinner is ready, come here already yerim ah" and so you both did, you both entered the kitchen and sat together but irene hurriedly ran towards you "nah uh your sitting beside me y/n go sit over there yerim." Yeri pouted sadly, "but eon-" irene shushed yeri with her finger, "no buts just eat." Yeri couldn't do anything anyways so she just ate her food and so did you and irene, but then yeri felt her tongue burning hot.
"Ah!! Ahh!! Why is it so hot eonnie?? Did you put so much hot sauce on this.." Yeri fanned herself feeling her whole mouth burn, "no yeri I made it just the way you like it yerim, now if it's spicy go give go it to y/n" Irene smirked as she snickers quietly seeing what your reaction would be, "Oh sure I'll take that yeri" "b-but y/n its too spicy! How would you be able handle this..", you shook your head and gave yeri your glass of milk to ease the spicyness. "there now give me your kimchi and have mine, it's not super spicy." You then took her food and swapped it with yours which wasn't so spicy at all, you sat back down and took a huge bite of the kimchi meanwhile irene was already red from laughter of course she wouldn't out loud, she was silently laughing "oh my y/n isn't it so spicy? How nice of you to take my little sister's food, so nice of you y/n! I really thought you would throw away my preciously made food" Irene spoke in a mocking voice which made yeri disgusted, meanwhile you were just chill about the food. Irene wasn't fully aware you had a high spice tolerance, "oh no actually I love it, it's my favorite, spicy foods are my absolute favorite also I have a high tolerance when it comes to spicy food." You smiled softly at irene which annoyed the hell out of her, irene groaned in annoyance her plan failing miserably "but you were supposed to cry and go red!! I had added a whole bottle of hot sauce there!!".
Irene covered her mouth realizing that she had exposed herself yeri wasn't so happy about this, "Eonnie do you want to kill me and y/n?? You put a whole bottle of hot sauce in my food!!", Irene bit her lower lip nervously now feeling bad but not feeling bad for you but for yerim, " I-Im sorry! I thought if y/n would take it she would cry out and go red instead I didn't know she had a high spice tolerance!" You and yeri laughed silently giving each other a stare.
Irene got up annoyed knowing her plan backfired, she had to really take it up a notch by actually testing y/n if she's really loyal she went into her room and dressed up provocatively, yeri was washing the dishes while y/n was in the living room. Irene approaches y/n seductively, "hi y/n I'm sorry about awhile ago I got carried away.." Irene caressed your thigh but you quickly removed her hand feeling uncomfortable "uhm yes it's okay miss irene.." Irene looked at y/n seeing how y/n was avoiding her advances which she was impressed about. She then walked back into her bedroom dressing back into her previous clothing while thinking how else could she test you.
°==== Next day ====°
You were going to visit yeri but once you came to her home the only people you saw were irene and another girl, "hi miss irene is yeri here?" Irene shook her head, "no she isn't she's sick so she's with joy" you immediately felt the palms of your hand sweating feeling worried for yeri, "uhm may I atleast know where this joy person lives so I could visit yeri?" "She lives near your school, just a few blocke away her gate is yellow." You nodded, "Thank you so much miss, I'll get going now have a nice day".. Wendy looked at irene in disbelief "but yeri is literally here in your house? Also yeri won't go to joy unless she wants to have fun.." Irene groaned.
"Shush ! Just be quiet and let that girl go to joy! then let her find out yeri is actually perfectly fine." Wendy facepalms as she walks away going into yeri's bedroom, she knocks on the door before walking in "yerims may I come in?" Yeri lifted her head up as she heard a melodic voice, "yes come in wendy eonnie.." Wendy enters the room smiling at yeri, "What you reading?" "Just a romance book, hmm.. Where's y/n? I'm expecting her to come today.." Wendy leaned in yeri's ear and whispered, "your irene eonnie told y/n you were sick and that you were in joy eonnie's house.. Don't tell irene I told you she'll be mad" Yeri pouted annoyed which wendy found adorable, "don't worry sweetie y/n will comeback here for you.."
And so you did, after finding out that yeri wasn't in joy's house you immediately went back to yeri's house gladly the one who let you in was wendy and not irene. Otherwise you would be stuck outside because irene wouldn't let you in, you knocked on yeri's door but you didn't have to since yeri already had open the door of her room for you to enter, she immediately ran up to you and hugged you tight "hmm I really thought you weren't coming! Did irene eonnie fool you again?, I'm so sorry baby.." You smiled at your beautiful girl, "No it's fine I don't mind being a fool for your eonnie, all I care is that you are okay and not sick. Now here I got you ice cream gummy bears and a plush from the store, I know you've been wanting these love." Yeri almost teared up in joy being touched on how you remembered the things she wanted. "Oh my goodness you didn't have to y/n.. Thank you so much" Yeri smiled, she tip toed to plant a kiss onto your soft lips which you also gave back. "Come on lets cuddle together I'll put the ice cream in my mini fridge so I can eat it later.." You nodded at her before laying down as she nuzzled onto the crook of your neck.
You hummed a beautiful melody which was yeri's favorite. Your voice was so angelic and magical to her ears she would always tend to fall asleep in your arms everytime you sang or hummed to her. Irene then enters the room seeing that yeri had fallen asleep cuddled up close to you while you continued hum a beautiful tune, you weren't aware irene was just watching because you were to busy admiring the love of your life, then irene took the courage to walk towards you tapping your shoulder. "y/n can we talk?.." "Yes sure miss irene."
You got up quietly from bed and closed the door behind you, irene led you into the kitchen to have a serious conversation with you, "So uhmm.. I just wanted to say..uhm.. I'm very sorry that I have uh done some things to you yesterday I just wanted to test if you would give in or give up on yeri to prove you weren't as much as good as yeri had known of you.. But I was completely wrong your so sweet and loving to my little yerim and I couldn't thank you enough.." You didn't say anything and just hugged irene tight, her eyes widened in shock but she eventually gave in to your arms closing her eyes.. "Thank you miss irene, don't be sorry.. I'm totally okay with what you've done and of course I'd do anything for yeri. I'm totally sure about her.. And I actually might ask a favor from you." "What favor y/n? Anything.." You smiled happily pulling back from the hug, "I'm going to propose to yeri.. I know we've been only together for a few months but I'm already so sure about her.. So if I could have your blessing I would be more than thankful.." Irene smiled, "yes you have my blessing.. Please if you both decide to ever leave don't ever hurt my yerim, always take care of her no matter what.." Irene held your hands hoping that you would keep your word of loving yeri. "Yes I will miss irene," "Yah stop calling me that! Call me irene eonnie.." "Irene eonnie.. You have my word.."
After a week finally it was the time for you to propose to yeri, you immediately ran into the school gym to see yeri waiting for you. A game was going on so this was the perfect time for you and your whole class to surprise yeri, "Hi love sorry If I took long to get here just needed to get something," You signalled your friends for a go sign. "Yeri I have something for you.." You kneeled down infront of her taking out the ring from your pocket slowly opening it revealing a beautiful diamond ring. "My love.. We've been together for just months.. But I'm so sure that you will my one and only for life.. Will you marry me?" Yeri cried out in tears of joy covering her mouth in surprise, "Y-Yes!! I will marry you!!" You then wore the ring onto her ring finger and stood up to hug her tight.
Then your whole class popped the balloons and screamed out in joy and "congratulations!" Everyone was happy for the both of you that you even got yeri's eonnies involved in this plan, all of her eonnie's popped up from behind and smiled happily while seulgi was jumping up and down. "Yay group hug guys!!" All of you hugged happily, having a happy day for the both of you..

friday, i’m in love (kyr x f!reader)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
genre: fluff || word count: 570 words
author’s note: yeri doesn’t get enough love also i don’t know how this sprung about but it did, hope y’all enjoy mwa mwa 🫶😼
beep!
you’d been knocked right out of your reverie. jolting up from looking down at your table full of scattered notes, you rushed out of your seat to peek through your curtains and see what the fuss was about, but at the back of your mind, you knew exactly who’d be honking out your window at 2 am.
kim yerim.
beep!
the second you got a glimpse of the world outside your bedroom, the second honk came. you rushed to move the curtains aside and pull the window open to poke your head out, eyes wide open, head shaking furiously while making the “cut it out” repeatedly.
“yah!” you’d whispered in a rush. “quit that, would you? my parents are asleep!”
“so is everyone else on this street, they’re not special,” she challenged you from where she stood hanging out of the driver’s side window.
“shh! what the hell do you want at this hour?” you let out exasperatedly. she let out a gasp.
god, she’s an insufferable idiot, you thought to yourself.
“did the y/n just swear? oh heavens no, this can’t be! not in her parents’ home, under the watchful eye of our lord and savior,” she said — wide expressions, animated bounces and waving arms; theatrics and all.
you chuckled, head dropping in fondness. yerim took a good look at you — how the soft, yellow glow of your lamp shone on from behind you, making you look ethereal. even with your glasses askew, the shower headband and low ponytail combo coupled with a fresh-faced, no make up look, she thought you’d never looked more beautiful. that’s my girl, she thought.
“take a picture, maybe. it’ll last longer,” you said to her in the quiet of the night.
but she’s my insufferable idiot.
“i’d rather live in the moment, n/n,” she replied without missing a beat. “besides, no picture could ever do you justice.”
“take a page out of seungwan’s book?”
“nope, all me,” she replied with a cheeky grin.
“why’re you here again?” you asked.
“i’m hungry,” she responded.
“you know the diner is like, right down the road, right?” you’d said with a chuckle.
“and leave you to study? on a friday night? never. come on! my treat.”
you shook your head and went back inside while closing the window and shutting the curtains. next thing yerim knew, the lights were off — not only in your bedroom but also in her eyes. trying to brush off the disappointment, she climbs back into her green, beat-down pick up truck, just about to start the ignition when she heard the unmistakeable sound of her passenger door opening.
“why the long face, yerm?” you pondered. “if treating me’s that bad then you know i have no problem pa—“ you couldn’t even finish your spiel because the next thing you knew, a certain brown-haired driver was pulling on your wrist to get you to face her, only to plant a soft and chaste kiss on your lips. even if it didn’t even last two seconds, it still left you dazed.
“what was that for?” you whispered after she pulled away, still feeling her proximity to you. she pulled back completely, facing the road and turning on the ignition. “no reason,” she replied easily before driving off.
I don't care if Monday's blue
Tuesday's grey and Wednesday too
Thursday, I don't care about you
It's Friday, I'm in love

Oh, this is precious! Thank you so much for this first ask!
little!Kim Lip and Chuu with cg!Jinsoul and Choerry
--
Moving out of the dorms had been an adjustment for everyone. While ARTMS and Loossemble were shaping up to be very different as groups, the members each understood that LOONA was still family.
That said, splitting up and taking different locations was always going to be difficult, what with nearly five years of all living together shaping the structure of their day-to-day lives. Additionally, new dorm arrangements (new building arrangements) meant new delegations among the group’s caregivers.
As a natural consequence of both groups re-debuting, delivering a comeback, and touring back to back, the ARTMS girls were less in contact with the Loossemble members lately. Meanwhile, their two lone soloists had been just as busy, and often hush-hush about it at that.
Everyone in Odd Eye Circle was feeling some sort of loss. Jinsol was newly separated from Sooyoung and her unnies. Yerim had been cut off from the rest of the maknae line. Jungeun, ever the intro-extravert, had been missing a little bit of everyone.
And so far, Jungeun had been showing it the most.
One comfort of being in Odd Eye Circle was the group’s balance. Each of the three were just as likely to favor a caregiver role one day as they were to regress. Any day that one or two in the group felt the need to be little, they could usually count on the third to stay big. They had managed as much while going through the tour and back.
But after returning to their new home, Jungeun had started slipping more and more without meaning to, and had gotten more irritable with every accidental regression. As such, Yerim wasn’t getting as much out of her regression days, worried for or else antagonized by little Jungie, while Jinsol herself had gone a precariously long time without feeling allowed to slip.
It came to a head one night between little Jungie and baby Yerim, an argument over rights to a ducky toy nearly leading to hair pulling from Jungie’s end.
So Jinsol put both to bed early and slept in an armchair, overseeing both in the pseudo-nursery they sometimes made of the living room at night.
She brought it up with Jungeun the next day, who listened well as ever, but took it to heart hard. All too willing to address her own mistakes, a stressed out Jungeun bit her nails for the length of the conversation and ended up wallowing past a point of anything constructive.
“I don’t mean to be a brat,” Jungeun said to her the next morning, her eyes shining for the memory of a recent tantrum. “I just… I didn’t know it would be so hard, switching it up.”
The problem, Jinsol later found, was that they had all assumed Jungie missed an equal bit of everyone, and no one in particular. Even if Jungeun would never admit it, Jinsol came to notice a pattern. There was the specific cache of borrowed sweatshirts Jungie insisted on being dressed in before bed, her sudden penchant for the color peach, and the odd drawing of her and a certain pigtailed playmate sticking out within her art supplies, all of which gave her away in time.
So Jinsol made a phone call. That night, she coaxed an agitated Jungie to sleep with the promise of a big surprise tomorrow.
When Jungeun blinks herself awake, she’s groggy. She had taken an impromptu nap on the couch to try and shake off her little state, but she still fails to feel refreshed, and she knows she’s teetering on that precipice.
Yerim looks up at her from her phone, gently rocking in the armchair next to her.
“You’re just in time,” she says with a knowing smile.
She really is. Jungeun’s feet have only just touched the floor when the front door clicks open.
And Jungeun can’t believe her own excitement. There, the sight of her favorite playmate standing hand-in-hand with Jinsol in the doorway drops Jungeun instantly into her toddler headspace.
“Ji’oo!” she shrieks, all but tackling her dear friend in an enthusiastic squeeze. Jiwoo hugs her back just as tight, keening in delight at being reunited. Jungie strokes her pigtails and refuses to let her go, even as Jinsol laughs and laughs and guides the two of them gently to the couch.
The littles spend an hour just embracing. Yerim puts Care Bears, a household favorite, on the TV at some point (slyly snapping a few pictures of their girls for safekeeping while she does), but the two are both so caught up in cooing at and stroking each other that they don’t even seem to notice.
In time, the duo takes things to the floor. Jiwoo runs circles around Jungie, whirling around on the carpet while Jungie claps her hands and howls with laughter. It evolves quickly into a game of tag, the two littles chasing each other all over the living room in an effort to boop the other’s nose.
“Careful!” Jinsol warns, knowing that Jiwoo especially can be rowdy. But she’s already removed all of the hard-edged furniture this morning and cleared the space for the littles to do exactly this.
When Jungie tuckers out, Jiwoo stays committed to entertaining her. Jiwoo can be a handful when she’s little, but she’s also one of the only known forces in the world who can keep Jungie’s attention for longer than a few minutes at a time. Both regress to their toddler ages when they’re together for a reason.
Chuu is a racecar, then a turtle, and then a waddling little penguin. Jungie squeals and kicks her feet through it all. They bring Jinsol into it, insisting on riding on her back as a play pony, and spurring her with their heels to carry them across the living room and back.
When even Jiwoo succumbs to her physical limits, she has Jinsol find her penguin plushie in her backpack. Jungie goes and gets her beloved Moomin plush. Their stuffed animals each have a teary reunion with the other before they’re locked in conversation. Jungie babbles out everything on her mind about how hard they’ve been working and the excitement of the tour. Jiwoo, Jiwoo’s penguin, and Moomin all prompt her enthusiastically as she does.
With the littles having worked up an appetite, Yerim puts an order in for delivery dinner: their favorite shrimp sushi. When it arrives, she manages to slip some steamed broccoli with diced carrots into a bowl on the side for each, and both eat their vegetables without giving complaint (though she knows Jungie would very much like to).
Jinsol sits, exhausted and fanning herself on the couch, while Yerim fetches them juice (in sippy cups, because anything open-topped with these two would be and has been disastrous in the past). Eventually, Yerim goads her into giving them some extra sugar. While Jinsol was saving them for her own rainy day, she coughs up the chocolate covered strawberries she’s been keeping in the back of the fridge.
Naturally, both manage to smear the chocolate all over their adorable faces. Jinsol wipes them down with a napkin while Yerim sneaks a few more pictures.
The girls have one more burst of energy to burn before bed. This time, it’s Yerim’s turn to chase them around, and she embraces her tickle monster role with natural aplomb.
Jinsol is ready with the onesies, knowing the girls are bound to crash soon. Jiwoo’s is baby pink with yellow daisies, and Jungie’s is red with quizzical, googly-eyed owls. Neither can sit still in their haste to be dressed in jammies for the night, so Jinsol and Yerim be sure to be quick with it so neither girl can feel left out.
Blessedly, both girls agree to brush their teeth without issue. Yerim eases the pigtails out of Jiwoo's hair, and they tuck them into bed in Jungie’s room. Given the way that the two have always clung to each other during the night there’s enough room in one bed to share.
Yerim doesn’t even have to offer up a bedtime story before they’re both asleep, Jungie snoring softly, her arm hanging off the bed, with Jiwoo hugging fiercely against her side.
Since Yerim paid for last night’s dinner, Jinsol assumes the morning pancake duty. Jungeun and Jiwoo flank her like little gargoyles, watching with fascination as she mixes the batter, and both pacified today by last night’s rest.
After she makes them swear up and down that they won’t try to swipe any from the mixing bowl, Jinsol lets them help mix the batter. Jiwoo holds the bowl steady while Jungeun furiously mixes, both cheering each other on.
When she accidentally flings a little onto the counter, Jinsol embraces the mess. She bops both of them on the nose with a fingertip of batter, feeling triumphant from the ensuing squeals of laughter.
After breakfast, and after an allotted final hour of hugging, it’s finally time for the two to say their goodbyes.
Yerim double-checks that Jiwoo has everything in her backpack. Jiwoo peppers Jungie’s face and hair with kisses. And then, as Yerim readies herself to walk Jiwoo back, Jungie allows her to leave.
She thinks of Jiwoo taking the elevator down and then walking all the way out of the building. Back, far away, to where she’s living for the time being.
Later in the day, Jungeun gradually eases back into her adult headspace. After some time to herself in her room, she joins Jinsol on the couch, a placated smile on her face.
“Better?” Jinsol asks, yawning and scratching her side.
Jungeun pops her sockfoot against Jinsol’s on the newly reinstated coffee table.
“Better,” she says, with mellow happiness painting her features. “Thank you, unnie.”
Days pass in the Odd Eye Circle dorms. Sollie is craving sweets. And Sollie has no sweets.
Sollie’s unnies have been doting on her awfully much lately, but she can’t remember why.
They even let her act up a little extra. They don’t scold her too hard when she wears her shoes to play soccer inside, and Yerim even let her stay up past her bedtime yesterday.
Whatever good it does her. Sollie is sitting glumly on the couch. Yerim is in her room, but Sollie is happy to leave her there for now, preferring to wallow in some big feelings she can’t quite name in her current state.
When Jungeun returns to the dorm with a big cardboard box, Sollie rolls over on her side to acknowledge her.
“Good news, kiddo,” she says with a knowing smile.
She holds out the package. It has her and Yerim’s names on it, but she lets Sollie be the one to tear into it anyways.
Sitting atop the contents is a baby pink card, covered in hearts and smileys, and obviously from Jiwoo.
Have a sweet day! it reads.
Below, at the bottom of the box, is an extra-large assortment of chocolate covered strawberries.

대결 (3)
Match (3)
콰르르르— An immense amount of water swept along the ground, tearing both earth and wood along.
Upon hearing Yerimie’s declaration, the Amaterasu Guild Leader speedily sent out additional orders for evacuations. When he asserted that all the houses on the beachfront should be cleared out and damage remunitions claimed from Amaterasu Guild, I felt unexpectedly impressed by the response. I’d half-expected him to say that we should just end things as they stood.
‘Then again, as a combat-type S-rank Hunter, he wouldn’t want to miss out on this match, even if it puts one of his own on the line.’
So long as he wasn’t terribly attached to Gakuto, at least. Since he was giving out the orders for evacuation and really setting the stage, it seemed that he only amounted to being ‘a guild member’ or so. Or it could be the opposite, and he expected him to be able to hold out for a measly hour.
[ Ahh, things are popping again, the water is rising fast. Hunter Iwahata Gakuto, is dodging with immense agility. Indeed, when it comes to speed, he’s certainly incredible. ]
The Japanese emcee seemed to be on Gakuto’s side, no matter how you looked at it. The disappointment and lament mixed into their voice was clear as day. And when this would be broadcasting in Korea, too.
Using my phone, I pulled up a live internet broadcast of the event from the Korean side.
[ A torrential downpouring! Hunter Bak Yerim, has called up torrents of water in succession! One pillar, two, now three! Veritable dragons! Water dragons(1), I should say! ]
[ Hunter Gakuto is hardly visible now! This is what you call a devastating scaling difference, like between man and nature! But though it might be by the sea, it seems that controlling that much water would result in a large consumption of mana—Section Chief Song Taewon-nim, what are your thoughts on this matter? ]
…eh? Section Chief Song Taewon-nim, you said? As the camera panned to the side, next to the two analysts that were burning up with great fervor, the exceedingly calm figure of Song Taewon came into view. But no, wait, how did……
[ As Hunter Bak Yerim’s magical power stat skews fairly high, and a time constraint has been established, I do not anticipate any significant difficulties on her part. ]
Song Taewon answered in a businesslike tone. Before, during the A-rank ranking battles, Section Chief Song had seemed to show some signs of interest in the analytics desk, but ultimately he’d turned it down while saying he had to be on-call in case of an accident. Since the stage was taking place overseas this time, it appeared that he’d been dragged into it in the end.
That there weren’t very many S-rank Hunters capable of filling a casting role, was true. Riette and Evelyn were both foreigners, and Kim Sunghan wasn’t the type to leave the Guild unmanned while everyone was away, just to appear on a broadcast. Had Hashin’s Park Mingyu refused?
Even so, they could’ve just left it to an A-rank Hunter, instead of dragging someone who could finally be at ease for once into it. How cruel.
[ There’s steam coming off of the water that shot up just now! Is it thermal water?(2) ]
[ It is! The heated water is boiling over! It’s Hunter Bak Yerim’s own take on hot spring water! ]
When I raised my head to check at those words, I could see that there really were hazy traces of steam coming off of the torrents of water. I’d heard that Japan had a lot of hot springs, but to think that it’d show itself in the middle of a fight, too. Would this place turn into a ‘Bak Yerim onsen,’ perhaps.
The original stadium had been turned into a giant puddle, and Gakuto was busily trying to flee along the coastline. Yerimie leisurely stalked after him, exuding an incredibly fearsome pressure.
Barring Myungwoo and myself, only Awakened whose stats were A-rank or higher were left. A few A-ranks who had been swept away by the water, were being pulled to and fro by the currents after having been pushed out to sea. It was to the point where I’d gotten soaked too, even though I was being held aloft high in the air by my dongsaeng via the Verdant Willow Leaves Skill.
“Here it comes again! Get ready!”
Accompanying Yerimie’s helpful announcement, the streams of water shot up again. The water pressure alone was immense, but as Gakuto swung his sword at the screen of water blocking his way.
펑!
It exploded, as if by detonation, and the droplets transformed to shards of ice in an instant. As such, what resulted was a shower of many hundreds of icy arrows. Formed through the strength that Gakuto himself had exerted, no less.
치이익, perhaps he’d used his Volcanic Heat Skill at max power, as the hail of icy arrows dissolved and steam began to billow from the air around Gakuto’s person. But because it entailed having to heat up not only the surrounding air, but the endless stream of water as well, it was a futile endeavor.
When the heat inevitably dissipated, a soaring wall of water was the next in line to be frozen whole. Transformed into a sinister sheet of thorns, it crashed towards Gakuto.
“Dammit!”
That felt like a ‘chikushō’(3), most likely.
쿠르릉, as the monumental ice wall that fell over him was a size that was much too big to easily avoid, rather than run, Gakuto opted to pierce through the wall. Concentrating the heat in order to melt the ice, a tremendous strength backed by S-rank stats combined with swordsmanship skills to break through the thick ice in an instant.
He might be the prey in this cat-and-mouse game, but an S-rank was still an S-rank. The ice wall split in half with a noisy crack. As fragments scattered, shimmering brilliantly in the light, and Gakuto’s body popped up from between the remnants of the wall,
“Ngk!”
A tidal wave pushed in from the sea. As though he’d been slapped by a giant’s open palm, 철썩, Gakuto was sent bowling over from the impact of the wave.
[ A great tsunami, tsunami! ]
Not only the Japanese, but the Korean broadcasts were also in a tizzy over the amazing tidal waves, look at that height! on air. 쿠르르르, the water swept along the ground another time. Timber snapped, and a car that had the misfortune of being in the vicinity was upended on its roof. Gakuto was using the heat in combination with what seemed to be another Skill to rebuff the advancing water, but it was a paltry attempt that really only succeeded in keeping his own body dry.
“The gap is way too big.”
“Since we’re by the sea.”
Yoohyunie answered matter-of-factly.
“If this took place in the middle of a desert, on the other hand, then she’d have been at a disadvantage.”
At present, all she had to do was gather up the water; in a desert, since she’d have to source the water herself, she would’ve had to use far more mana for much less return in volume. But here, it was as though she had an unlimited supply of ammo stacked up for her. All she had to do was blast away to her heart’s content.
“This match should’ve happened in the middle of summer, what a shame. Don’t cha think?”
It would’ve been a refreshingly vicarious experience for the viewers, said Yerimie, hefting her spear. The Magos’s Shawl weaved languidly around her, and her earrings tinkled lightly together. Currents of water rose up around her. Like the heads of a hydra, about ten separate streams writhed around their master in a protective configuration.
[ Yamata no Orochi(4)! Just like a Yamata no Orochi! ]
The hell was that. A torrent of water that was about the same thickness as five electric poles put together, shot towards Gakuto like a lance. In fact, as it was mid-flight.
쩌저적—
Solidifying into ice, it actually did turn into a massive ice spear. Just like that, 쾅! 쾅! 쾅!, they smashed against the ground. Faced with an endless wave of giant spears, Gakuto was unable to block the offensive and could only dodge back and forth.
It wasn’t a quantity of water that could simply be dealt with via heat. For him to attempt to break through with his sword, the attacks were too numerous. Unless one was sturdy enough to withstand the impact, or capable of using a wide-range attack to deal with everything at once, the only option was to run away.
While the Japanese broadcast was sighing in regret and lament, the Korean broadcast was cheering excitedly.
[ Bak Yerim! Bak Yerim! Bak Yeriiiiim!! ]
Likely to end up losing your voice like that, you were. I really should’ve made a placard to wave around too. The regular spectators that occasionally flashed on-screen seemed to be in an exuberantly celebratory mood as well. They were practically popping champagne bottles left and right.
“How many minutes have passed, now?”
Since she’d announced that she’d catch him within an hour. Because I didn’t have a wristwatch, I could only check using my cellphone clock. Watch……  Was the reason he still hadn’t brought it up, because he actually had forgotten. Though, yes, you could happen to forget. It could be that it slipped your mind while you were busy with life, but.
“What is it?”
“No, it’s nothing.”
My dongsaeng seemed leery of the way I was looking at him. What do you mean, what is it. Should I just ask him outright.
Anyway, it felt as though thirty minutes or so had already passed. Just then, the broadcast confirmed the time as well.
[ Thirty-four minutes have passed since Hunter Bak Yerim’s hour-limit declaration! Now, only twenty-six, twenty-five minutes remain. It’s time for her to slowly start closing in, wouldn’t you say? ]
[ Particularly since the mana use should be quite significant. But to have witnessed this situation and still declare Hunter Gakuto the winner, simply from holding out for an hour, would be ve~ry disingenuous! ]
[ In truth, the current situation can already be regarded as Hunter Bak Yerim’s win! ]
Originally, Gakuto would have lost the moment he’d stepped outside of the arena. But Yerimie had been the one to offer the amendment, first. She did seem confident in her ability, but because her opponent was so speedy to begin with, catching him wasn’t as easy as it seemed. Since he could use the concentrated heat to at least guard his immediate vicinity, it would be difficult to pin him in place.
Would she use Shadowless Day, at the last. If she added the magical energy buff on top of the attribute buff, so long as the cold resistance wasn’t S-rank, he would probably still freeze over.
“Huff, hah!”
Leaping over the shattered remnants of an ice spear as it broke off in the ground on impact, Gakuto wheezed out ragged breaths. He appeared to have been worn down from the constant dodging and blocking. But his speed still hadn’t reduced. Though compared to Yerimie—who was only moving around the water that had already been available, and occasionally freezing things here and there—the amount of magical energy he’d used up would’ve been much more significant, so he was managing to do an impressive job holding out.
But, just when it seemed that things would be coming to a close, since not even potions could be used for recovery.
“How many minutes are left?”
Yerimie asked, peering into her surroundings.
“Nineteen minutes!”
Looking at the timer displayed on the border of the Korean broadcast, I quickly shouted the answer to her. Thanking me, Yerimie sent a finger heart(5) my way.
“You heard that, right? Though there’s still a bit of time left, since I’ve played around plenty, let’s end this now!”
“By whose whims! Come catch me, if you can!”
Nineteen minutes were doable. Whether that was his line of thinking, Gakuto’s movements sped up even more. That guy, had he been reserving that bit of strength while pretending otherwise.
탓탓탓, in order to clearly widen the gap between them, Gakuto began to sprint. His form made it into the distance in seconds. Yerimie, who had been watching unblinkingly, twitched the tip of her fingers. The sea where Gakuto was at swayed, and.
휙, Yerimie’s form disappeared, and in an instant, reappeared right above Gakuto. As though he’d been waiting, Gakuto swung his blade. 촤아악, water droplets scattered as water and swordpower clashed. The moment Gakuto tried to widen the gap again, an enormous volume of water shot up.
It was as though a whale had flung itself onto the shore. An immense amount of water, the equivalent of a small hill, blocked Gakuto’s path forward. Leaving the arena boundaries may have been permitted, but as the seaside was the limit, he couldn’t backtrack any further. But even so, attempting to penetrate or vault over the obstacle before him was the same as throwing himself into the enemy’s line of fire.
Since there was no way of anticipating how that formidable mass of water might attack.
Nearly simultaneously, a parallel mass of water blocked off his route on the other side. Apparently having actually exerted herself this time around, Yerimie let out a few quickened breaths.
Two monoliths made of water swayed hypnotically under the sunlight. At the otherworldly sight, the Japanese—and even the Korean—broadcasts momentarily went quiet.
“Give in?”
“Y-you’ve merely obstructed my way!”
Gakuto shouted obstinately, even as he began to appear panicked. Honestly, no solution seemed forthcoming. Even Yoohyunie, who wielded flames of much higher intensity than what could be produced by ‘Heat,’ would be hard-pressed to deal with that kind of volume. Of course, Yoohyunie could just use his Verdant Willow Leaves Skill to slip away.
But that guy didn’t even have anything resembling a flight Skill.
Looking down at Gakuto—who talked a big game, but couldn’t budge one bit—Bak Yerim smiled.
“Alright, in that case.”
Part of the watery mass shifted. At a slow, steady pace, it fell upon Gakuto. Heatwaves shimmered in the air again, and white clouds of steam billowed forth. 철벅철벅, sword blades attempted to push back the water as well, but only served to showcase the literal futility of attempting to cut water with a knife.
How could he possibly oppose what was not merely ice, but water itself. No matter how much strength he might use, a simple show of physical force would only serve to rebuff the advances for a moment. When it was only a part of the water, at that.
Not just a lake, but an entire ocean was at her disposal. Even if it were an SS-rank Hunter, and not an S-rank, fighting the sea would be an impossible feat.
“Ugh!”
Eventually, the mound of water swallowed up Gakuto. As the mountainous mass merged together with Gakuto at the center, it formed a giant sphere. But even so, as it was simply composed of water, he’d be able to swim his way out—except.
쩌저적.
The inner part of the mass began to freeze over. With Gakuto at the center, it appeared that a shell of ice had been formed around him. The outer portion was still primarily just water.
터엉, from inside the watery marble, the sound of pounding against the ice wall could be faintly heard. But any time the ice would give way, more water would immediately fill the spot and freeze over the same space. At an expedited pace, that ensured he wouldn’t be able to escape.
It would melt, then break, then re-freeze. If it was simply stone or metal, then it would be over once it broke. Quickly mending it would be difficult. But water and ice, could be cycled indefinitely. Without resting, incessantly.
Gakuto’s movements were beginning to slow. The water was blocking off the air as well, after all. With the fight’s location confirmed to be the arena, under the assumption that he’d be steaming things up all he wanted, it appeared that he’d foregone bringing any equipment that would enable aquatic maneuvers.
Even as an S-rank Hunter with physical capabilities far beyond the human norm, he couldn’t stand up to a lack of oxygen for long. Gakuto eventually lost consciousness, and as the broadcast hurriedly announced Hunter Bak Yerim’s victory, the ball of water burst apart.
촤아악!
In the center of the watery explosion, Gakuto wobbled as he sat up in place. Bak Yerim descended before the coughing Hunter.
“Well done. It was quite enjoyable.(6) ‘Cause I got to really let loose for once.”
Saying that the oncoming headache was probably a sign that she was close to mana exhaustion, Yerimie took out a potion and swallowed it down. Gakuto’s expression crumpled slightly, but he compliantly lowered his head.
“I acknowledge my loss, Hunter Bak Yerim. I will have to be satisfied with having drawn out your utmost, and further hone my skills for an even more dignified match.”
…to say you ‘drew out her utmost,’ she still didn’t use Shadowless Day. Since this was exempting the attribute and stat buff, as well as the SS-rank Skill that tied her opponents’ feet on top of giving an additional buff, this was closer to being only two-thirds of Yerimie’s true abilities. Gakuto, that guy, it was almost enough to make you feel a bit sorry for him.
Standing up from his spot, Gakuto dipped his head towards Yerimie again.
“It would not be a disservice, for you to be designated the goddess of water.”
“Goddess, what goddess.”
Yerimie spoke directly at one of the cameras that had ventured close.
“The ruler of water! I won’t accept anything other than that!”
Waving the spear that had the gem holding the Ruler of Water Skill embedded in it, Yerimie grinned brightly.

(6) yerimie switches back to using polite informal language with gakuto here, after things have effectively become ‘water under the bridge’ (so to speak) with her win. still more on the casual side, but not as rude as she was being earlier

“And we are here!” Andrea heard Yerim say with enthusiasm, uncovering her face to her her and her friends in front of the gymnasium. Stomach turning, feeling nervous and uneasy. “Okay maybe I shouldn’t audition.” Andrea said, hiding behind Akami, fingers gripping onto Akami’s black windbreaker jacket, hiding her face into her back.
“Oh come on, it won’t be that bad!” Heejin reassured Andrea, patting her back. “Look, well also be judging, and i’m sure you won’t mess up.” She said, messing with her hair.
“But-“ Akami cut off Andrea.
“But nothing, look we’re here to support you and cheer you on okay.” Akami said, bring Andrea in front of her, smiling down at her. “Our Yerim is also auditioning so we’ll support both of you.” She said softly, patting Andrea’s head.
Andrea sighed in defeat, with her best friend Yerim hugging her behind. “Let’s go in!” Yerim says in a cheery mood, dragging her friends into the auditorium, seeing different people for the audition. “Oh my god there’s so many people here.” Andrea gasps, looking around the building, seeing many students from different arts departments.
“Hey there’s Lippie!” Yerim grins, skipping with Andrea to their older friend, having Heejin and Akami following behind.
“Lippie!!” Yerim and Andrea calls out once they spotted their other friend. “Jungie-ah!” Akami calls out.
A blonde woman turns around as she was talking to the head of the dance teams; Momo Hirai, Mina Myoui (girls dance team) and Jeongin Kim and Minho Lee (boys dance team. She nods at them before heading to her friends, smiling to see her younger friends auditioning for the dance team.
“Hey you two! I’m glad you can make it!” Jungeun said as she hugs Andrea and Yerim. “I was just talking about you guys! I’m sure you’ll kill it.” She giggles, squeezing their shoulders lightly. “I’m sure you know the dance leaders here.” Jungeun says, waving over to the group she was just talking to, pointing to Andrea and Yerim as she mouths “That’s them!” to the leaders.
The leaders nodded in acknowledgement and walked up to them with smiles. “Hi~” A fringe woman sang to the girls with a bright smile. “I’m Momo, the girls dance leader and i’m so happy to officially meet you guys. Our jungie-ah here has so many positive things to say about you all!” Momo giggles, giving the girls a hug. “Next to me is our lovely Mina, she’s kinda shy so, don’t jump at her too quickly.” Momo grins, letting Mina introduce herself.
“Over here is our overall dance leader; Kai, he is also the boys dance team leader.” Momo says proudly as she pats the older male’s back. “Nice to meet you girls.” Kai says, waving at them.
“And over here is our youngest leader, Minho!” Momo grins, watching the youngest male nod in acknowledgement, his eyes set on Andrea as he greets them. Minho gives a small smirk towards Andrea, tilting his head as he shakes their hands. ‘Huh…weird..’ Andrea thought to herself, pasting a smile at him. “He’s not much of a talker but he’ll sure warm up to you guys, if you end up impressing him.” Momo mutters the last line, side eyeing Minho.
“I wish you guys the best of luck!” Mina says with a polite smile. “I can’t wait to see what you two have come up with.” Momo grins.
“We should get back to introducing ourselves to the other students before we start. It was great meeting you girls! Break a leg!” Momo grins before she skips away with Mina and let the boys roam around, introducing themselves to the other students.
Jungeun turns and smiles at them. “They love you girls!” She says, holding their hands. “What did you tell them exactly?” Andrea asked, looking at the older woman in curiosity.
“Not important, right now you guys should start warming up before everything starts! We’ll be supporting you two!” Jungeun giggles.
Yerim giggles while Andrea smiles at their friend. “I’ll try not to look at you guys, because once i do, I’ll fuck up the routine, and I rather not fuck yo in front of our campus’s greatest dancers.” Andrea pouts, holding Yerim’s hand. “We’ll try our best!” She giggles.
Meanwhile on the other side of the auditorium, there was three boys, Minho from earlier, along with Hyunjin Hwang, and Felix Lee, chatting amongst themselves, watching everyone else in the building.
“Hey Felix, I did manage to meet that girl you’re always talking about.”
Felix turns to face to his older friend, raising a brow at him as his face turned sour. “And why are you telling me this?” He asked, leaning against the wall, observing the different students. He manage to keep his gaze on a certain girl in the room. A girl he truely despised. The same girl Minho was just talking about. Andrea Rosalina.
“Thought you’d be interested, since she’s all you talk about.” Minho shrugs with a cocky grin, receiving an eye roll from Felix. “I don’t always talk about her.” Felix muttered, leaning onto the mirror, looking over at Andrea, who was laughing with her other loud friend, the two clinging into each other’s arms.
“Oh but you do my friend.”
Andrea felt eyes on her and looked around, meeting the gaze of her long time rival. “Great.” Andrea mumbled, rolling her eyes back to her friends.
“What is it now Angel?” Yerim asked, looking at her smaller friend with a worried look planted on her face. “More like who is it.” Heejin says, folding her arms as she leans onto Yerim’s shoulder.
“Brownie boy has been staring at Angel since she arrived here.” Akami said, rolling her eyes. “I’m not going to fuck up in front of him, I can’t.” Andrea sighed, turning her back towards him.
“Andrea it won’t be the end of the world if you do.” Yerim reassures her friend, patting her back.
“You don’t know that Yerim.”
Tumblr media
“Alright is everyone here? I would love for everyone who is auditioning to sit over where Mina is at.” Momo’s voice was heard, calling all the students to move over to her teammate, who was seen standing at the side of the auditorium.
“And to those who are the support team, please move to back of the building, make room for the dancers.” Momo smiles, watching the sea of students scurry around to their destinations.
“For those who don’t know -which i don’t understand why- I am Momo Hirai , the girls dance team leader, here with our famous Kai Kim, Mina Myoui and Minho Lee, will be the ones judging the auditions. We do have some of our lovely team members here to give all of you silent support. We all will be giving each and every one of you good luck to your auditions.” Momo smiles as the team leaders sat in their respective chairs, papers in front of them on a table, holding information of each student present.
The auditions went quickly than what Andrea imagined it to be. Some did really good, amazingly, perfect in Andrea’s eyes, but some went really…bad.
“Andrea Rosalina.” She heard her name being called out and looks up, seeing how the judges were patiently waiting for her to step forward.
She got up from where she was sitting at and carefully made her way to the middle of the room, silent deep breaths were made to calm her nerves down.
“Before you can start, how long have you been dancing for, and what style are you most comfortable with.” Momo asked, leaning forward as she eyes the smaller girl.
“I started dancing when I was around…five years old, with ballet. But there was a period where I stopped dancing.” Andrea kept a smile on her face, unable to break. “For the last two, maybe three years, my friends have been convincing me to start dancing again, starting all over again. But I’m pretty sure I improved a lot.” She lightly laughs. “And i’m more comfortable the modern style of dancing, mixing that with my flexibility.” She said, looking at them.
“Thank you Andrea, you may start. Good luck.” Kai said before the music started to play, which Andrea immediately recognised. It was Red Lights by 3Racha, a favourite amongst Andrea and her friends, to the point where they made a whole dance routine for it.
Before you know it, Andrea’s body began to move to the rhythm and lyrics from the music, her body moving like a mermaid in the water, like she was controlling invisible water with her hands. Her arm and hand movements were gentle and delicate but also sharp and fast, mastering the sharpness of the angles using her arms and hands.
Andrea’s legs have away her ballet past; elongated sharp moves when she bends her knees and her leg stretched out. Her hips rolled to every beat when her body moved to the floor. She managed to use her body to roll her top half underneath her lower half, pushing herself gently, almost snake like once she finished the move, her hips and legs rolling as she moved herself back up into a standing position.
The two men were watching her like a hawk, eyeing her for any possible mistakes. “I didn’t know she could dance.” Hyunjin whispered to Felix, who kept his strong gaze over towards her, unable to read his facial expressions. “I….I didn’t know either.” He heard his friend muttered, his eyes shifting back to the dancing girl.
Andrea continued to dance, her body flowing to the beat, her moves were strong and powerful, but also gentle and delicate. She made sure to look at the judges and audience from time to time, thanks to the maybe advice given from Jungeun whenever Andrea had the courage to dance in front of her.
She gave them a gentle yet confident smile, a piercing gaze shooting from her eyes, yet snapped into her usual cute gaze at them.
Andrea was a interesting case.
She managed to capture both opposite dynamics of the scale, a versatile technique that the groups lacked in. Andrea mastered the sensuality of the song, her eyes, face and body matched the vibe of the song, adding her own unique flavours of sneakiness and versatility in her performance. Her eyes piercing at them, like a predator gazing at its prey, yet her cheeky smile says a different story, and vice versa.
She was sure a mystery.
Andrea began to slow down her dancing, as it was a beginning to the end of her performance while the music died down, ending her performance with a powerful and graceful pose, slowly and gently lowering her hands to her sides. Her chest raising up and down as she was catching her breath after her performance.
“I say…” Momo began, letting out a chuckle, face unreadable for once. “That was very impressive, considering the amount of time you spend repairing and improving what you had left behind,. I loved the way you showed two different concepts and mixed it into one.” She said.
Minho nods, before speaking up. “Your performance was very...” He pauses. “Remarkable.” He said. Most of the time, people haven’t really impressed the man, it was a rare sight to see. “Your use of versatility was the highlight of your performance, very rare to see nowadays.” He continues, flashing a smile at the younger girl. “I would love to see that in the future for our groups.” He said, the other judges nodding in agreement.
Andrea smiles at them once she receives the green lights from the judges, thanking them before sitting back down with Yerim.
Maybe it wasn’t such a bad idea auditioning.
After the auditions, the dancer talked amongst themselves.
Andrea giggles with her friends as they chatted to themselves.
“Hey, you’re Andrea right?” A unfamiliar voice asked behind her. Andrea’s ears perked up and turns around to see a handsome fox like face. “I’m Yeonjun.” He said with a gentle smile. “Just wanted to say that I really enjoyed your performance and hope to work with you in the future.” He said, his fingers running through his hair. Was he nervous?
“Thank you.” Andrea smiles back at him shyly. “Hopefully we will.” She laughs, looking at him.
“Yo! Jun!” A male’s voice called from the other end. “I think your friends are calling you.” Andrea giggles, her hand hiding her grin. “It was nice meeting you Yeonjun.” Andrea said with a smile.
“Would it be crazy for me to ask for your number?” He asked, giving her a smile that made her (and a lot of girls) melt.
“How long has he been staring at them for?” Minho asked his friend, Hyunjin as he makes his way towards him and Felix, who was too busy focusing his attention on the scene playing in front of him. Hyunjin snickers, also watching the scene. “For a while now. Reckon he’s jealous?” He asked his older friends as the two snicker at their younger friend.
“As much as he would deny it…there’s no denying that he feels some type of jealousy towards them.” Minho shrugs. “Oh no he’s moving.”
Andrea smiles as she waves Yeonjun goodbye and turns to her friends, giggling with Choerry and Heejin. “Andrea is definitely in her y/n era.” Heejin laughs, clinging onto her shorter friend.
“If it isn’t nice to see you here, Rosalina.” Felix said, crossing his arms and smirks down at Andrea.
Andrea mentally sighed and she turns around with “such enthusiasm”. “What do you want?” Andrea asked, crossing her arms.
“Just wanted to say that congrats.” Felix said. “Colour me impressed. Didn’t think you dance.” He said, moving closer to her, leaning down to reach her face. “These next few weeks will be fun for me.” He smirks, looking down at her. “But no matter how much you’ll try to beat my skills.” He pauses, leaning to her ear. “I’ll always be number one.” He whispered, stepping away as he smirks at her angry and flustered face.
“Welcome to the team Rosalina.” Felix said before walking back to his friends, shaking his head at them as they snickered at him.

The day was over and auditions was over, Andrea and her group was seen sitting inside their favourite cafe; Eden’s Cafe.
“I’m so proud of you girls!” Jungeun said as she arrived at their table with their orders, hugging Yerim and Andrea tightly. “I knew you girls could do it!” She grins at them.
“I still can’t believe Andrea managed to not only impress Minho, but make him smile?” Heejin shakes her head, still in shock. “It took me nearly two years for the man to appreciate my dancing!” She groans, burying her head onto her arms.
“There’s only a couple other people that impressed Minho but..you might not like it.” Akami says as she leans onto the wall to face her friends.
“And who is that?” Yerim asked, taking a sip of her vanilla frappe.
“Hyunjin.” Yeji said in a mumble, sipping her ice tea with her straw. “My brother.” She added, sitting back with a scoff. “Unbelievable.” She muttered quietly.
“And who else?” Andrea asked, facing her friends.
Akami, Yeji and Heejin exchanged looks over at each other before Jungeun spoke up.
“Felix Lee.”

My Experience in Loona's Mexico City's Show!
First of all I gotta say, I'm still crying over everything that happened yesterday. Both in a happy and a sad way. I'll be talking about all the good and the bad in a chronological way.
Just as I arrived I felt Orbit's incredible atmosphere and energy, we were all just filled with love for them and you could feel it a block away. There were posters of Chuu around with "Have you dreamt of this woman?" and the overall love was felt. Even as we were told that Hyeju and Yerim wouldn't be able to join the show there was a purple and grey sea of lightsticks and the cheers the entire show never ceased for any of them. We where all respectful when they talked and cheered as loud as we could when it was time to cheer.
So we start the show with nine of them. Now, I... How can I even put this into words? They are a thousand times more gorgeous in person, I was bawling my eyes out the instant they stepped foot on the stage. It's just, seeing my personal supports there, in person was overwhelming. And for that one concert, and especially with their physical and mental condition in mind, it felt like I could return that to them, even for a bit.
You could tell they were tired, I even commented that Yeojin didn't really look well and probably wouldn't be there the entire show. And even if I was unfortunately right, I would rather see her take a break and I was still incredibly thankful she endured as long as she did just to see us.
Nonetheless, they were all lifted by the energy at the venue. Before the heavier choreography songs block Yeojin was seen happy and smiling and jumping around. There were times Haseul couldn't contain herself and stood up to dance a bit with the girls because you could see the excitement in her face. Yves usually ran back between songs, but you could see she didn't want to, Vivi, Kim Lip and Gowon also exited the stage a few times. Heejin, Hyunjin, Jinsoul looked the more energetic during the entire show, but you could tell they wished to feel better.
I want to give an special shout out to both Jinsoul and Haseul, because you could tell they were trying their entire best to, as they said it themselves, 'Fill the empty positions of the missing members'. Wouldn't be surprised if the show drained them the most.
And I'm not complaining with or about the girls at all. It feels like I'm somehow married to them because I know I'm with them in sickness and in health, the good and the bad. I love them so much and I, and the entire venue, really enjoyed our time in there with them. We really did. I think both sides truly want to see each other again, but they taking care of their health right now would be the best present they could give us.
When Playlist started playing and we raised our proyect banners, not only the girls were crying, we were too. It was our promise. That no matter what we would stay with them. They said they would be back, we promised we would never leave, and at least on my part I don't think that's happening ever ever.
I'm pretty sure Gowon and I made eye contact once, Hyunjin has now ascended to my bias list and honestly I fell a thousand times more in love with Heejin. And like I didn't even know that was possible.
I just don't think that a lot of you know, but Loona saved my life. I don't like to base my happiness on others, but when I was on one of my lowest points in life, somehow, I was recommended one of their music videos. "Do not accept the fate of the moon," it said, "Burn Yourself" it said. So I did. And to everyone that eventually left my life because of it I said "So What."
I walked the trails of life that I feared with their songs on my headphones, and always stepped forward to their rhythm. And while everyone was vibing and shouting around me, I was sobbing my soul out. There was around 8,000 orbits right there, without them... Only the world would know there would be 7,999.
They girls kept asking themselves if they really deserved all that love. They saved my life, I'll give them as much love as I am able to give out for the rest of it.
And of course, I'm just glad Heejin got to eat her esquites. If she didn't I was going to personally take her for one, no matter the cost.
To end in a sweeter note... I only recorded once. The ending. And that's a moment I'll forever cherish in my heart.
