i get hella anons who rant in my ask box about how i shouldn't be emphasizing on y/n appearance and but at the end of the y/n was never necessary you at least in my case. y/n is a character created by the author and their writing style. when i read x readers i don't even think of y/n as me she's more like a .. dumb homegirl or a friend. i feel like the ones upset are the ones that finally feel what it's like to read something that doesn't cater to them and im just saying tough tiddie bookie!!

im gonna continue to write for my black girlies and my plus sized besties who've spent most of their years suffering and reading the same repetitive stories with a frail white girl as a main character.

that internalized fatphobia has got to go, anon. you upset about POSITIVE representation of a plus sized person being loved or dicked down? you clearly looking for escapism in the wrong way. there’s nothing wrong with wanting to be skinny, but trying to control another person blog and how they want to be perceived in a fictional world is crazy.

there are plenty of reader fics where they’re not specified. you as a reader are not entitled to what stories we want to tell. this is the same shit as not wanting to see black people in video games because racists are upset that we exist in real life.

if you wanna act like you not fat (which isn’t a bad word) or like other fat people don’t exist so you can live out your fantasy then so be it but either go find like minded people (who will more often than not shame you cuz you don’t look like them) or write the shit yourself.

just like you can find any ole white reader inserts, you can find skinny ones. i don’t care what yall do in that cis white skinny corner of fanfiction, but leave the rest of us alone. but also don’t come back here when them fucking leopards eat your face cuz you decided to sell out in favor of thinness instead. either just vibe or get the fuck on.
