it sucks, though, the feeling that someone has hurt you in a way you can never fully elucidate. it might not have even been all that bad, but you just don’t know how to talk about it. it sounds petty to catalogue a relationships worth of small cruelties and casual injustices, but just taking it and gritting your teeth feels like being chipped to the point of cracking and then hearing someone tell you “it’s just a chip” it’s not just a chip. it’s a thousand dents and scuffs and easy insults and then it’s a crack, and then you’re a different shape and you’ll never be able to explain how you changed because all anyone knows is that you cracked, and no one understands how worn down you had to be to do it

Iraestra is truly one of the most well-fleshed out oc's of the grey-evil morality variant I've seen in years. Lamia your creativity and joy for writing is so infectious, one cannot help but try to match that creativity. Your sentences wrap around the brain like velvet, there's just this quiet thrum to the words, and when you write dialogue? Sumptuous. Delicious. Even if she's an oc I hear this low, confident drawl from her (I get Shohreh Aghdashiooo vibes sometimes, Irae's lines are just that good!!) Anyways, mwah mwah. This singular moment is the sole reason I fell in love with not only Beta Ray Bill, but the dynamic between him and Sif. It's utterly heartbreaking to see him rob himself of a chance at happiness, yet I can't help but feel like I know where he's coming from, because it feels like a place where we've all been. For a horse faced alien cyborg with a god hammer, he sure feels human to me.

I really enjoyed writing that story, even if it never quite made it to completion, and it really warms my heart to hear other people adore my words too. They were always such a fun pair to write for, and I really do miss writing them some days, but they’ll always have a place in my blorbos.

ok i want to say princess leia but i haven't seen the new star wars stuff... but you have a very 'leadership' 'kind but firm encouragement' and 'willing to organize and help bring others along in the fandom' vibe and so i hope this isn't missing some big possibly insulting aspect from the new films or anything

ANON THIS IS MAKING ME CRY BUT LIKE IN A VERY GOOD WAY. Princess Leia was one of my favorites growing up. She was the princess that got shit done, the one that took no crap from anyone (even her rescuers), and had no fear in telling the fly boy to get into the garbage chute. I love her, and this made me grin so hard and I just feel really flattered. So thank you for making my whole day.
