My sister is an adult with autism and is hyper fixated on Thomas The Tank Engine.

Now because my sister is hyper fixated on Thomas The Tank Engine, specifically the Thomas And Friends version. She watches it all the time on the main tv. I support my beautiful drinking age sister with my life but if I have to watch a single episode of Thomas And Friends my brains might actually literally melt out of my skull.

HOWEVER, I would love to watch the original Thomas The Tank engine with her. This is because it is largely set on an actual (Miniature) set with actual little model trains with faces. The train's faces are kind of ugly but that is their CHARM.

The miniature models are absolutely gorgeous. LOOK AT THAT FREAKING TRAIN STATION OOOOOOHHHHH MYYYY GODDDD. THE ACTUAL WATER ON THE SET.... THAT IS SO DAMN GORGEOUS.

The trees and the railways, and watching the actual little train models go around is gorgeous. I would happily ignore whatever the story is in favor of just watching little trains go. After one minute precisely of research, I have found that the change to CGI was because of budgetary issues, and because the sets kept catching on fire. But we have ~MODERN~ ~TECHNOLOGY~ and also it would kick major ass. We could use LED lights instead of regular old lights, which would generate heat and catch junk on fire. We could make it so that the faces on the trains and people don't need to be swappped out. WE COULD MAKE THOMAS THE TANK ENGINE BEARABLE. We can keep all the original voice actors from the CGI Thomas And Friends, so that everything is mostly the same. We could update the models of the people and the trains! We could sell Expensive versions of the little model trains! We could re-do the live action sequences where we learn about Real Life Trains!!!!

WE NEED TO MAKE THOMAS THE TANK ENGINE AUTISTIC AGAIN.

Bucky’s P.O.V.

It always impressed me how she never noticed just how much of my attention was focused on her at all times. If she wasn’t already brilliant, that laser-like focus would have been enough to put her on the top of my best employees list. But as it were, she topped that list for many reasons, and that was only a small part of it.

My favorite was how she was one of the only people I paid that didn’t completely fawn over me. Everyone else seemed to want to get in my pants, always trying to please me and make simple things, like getting me a cup of coffee, some overly sexual activity somehow, but not her.
