fun things about me: i try to be confident and then sometimes i feel like i screw up and then i think about it for days on end wondering if i've ruined someone's life or even just their day even though they're no longer thinking about me

#i work as a cashier and this hoh couple came in and GUYS #I DONT KNOW ASL #IVE NEVER TAKEN A CLASS #MY ROOMMATE USED ASL ONCE IN A WHILE SO LIKE IK 'what' AND PERHAPS 'toilet' AND MAYBE 'tree'!!!!!#LIKE YALL I WAS SO EMBARRASSED BECAUSE I REALLY WANTED TO TRY MY BEST TO MAKE SURE THEY COULD UNDERSTAND ME AND THE VERY NICE WOMAN COULD #LIP READ AND I JUST OVERANNUNCIATED MY WORDS BECAUSE Y'ALL I TALK S O FAST AND S O UNCLEARLY SOMETIMES THAT MY OWN FAMILY HAS TROUBLE #UNDERSTANDING ME LIKE ITS A PROBLEM OF MINE THAT MY MOM ALWAYS POINTS OUT SO I OVERDID IT AND THEN I BLUSHED AND THE GUY NOTICED I BLUSHED #AND I FELT SOOOO BAD #AND IK THEYRE NOT THINKING ABOUT IT ANYMORE BECAUSE I WAS JUST ONE OVERLY COMPENSATING CASHIER AT THE GROCERY STORE BUT UGH WOW HAVE I BEEN #like idk what else i would have done and it was at the end of my 8 hour shift and i was dead on my feet and my brain was short circuting #and so yeah ive been feeling like sh--crap for a while #for no reason #i did do my absolute best and i still made a fool of myself #ugh #why is life #thats it thats the question #not fandom content #personal #rant
