Why did you become a data scientist?

I became a data scientist because I’ve always had a passion for solving problems and discovering new things. The idea that data analysis could uncover hidden insights and help businesses make better decisions excited me from the start. I was particularly drawn to the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) and the way machines can learn from data, just like humans do. It made me realize that data science is all about using AI and machine learning to solve real-world problems.

As a data scientist, I get to create tools like AI chatbots and other systems that help people make more informed choices based on data. What I love most about this career is that no two days are the same. Every project presents a new challenge, whether it’s finding patterns in data or building algorithms that predict future outcomes. The field is constantly evolving, which means there’s always something new to learn and experiment with.

I also decided to join a data science bootcamp program to speed up my learning and gain hands-on experience. It was a great way to immerse myself in the field and build the skills necessary to succeed.

Ultimately, I became a data scientist because I wanted to be part of a field that uses data to make a positive difference in the world. The opportunity to influence business decisions, create impactful tools, and continually learn is what keeps me excited and motivated every day.
