Lady, said to be Madame Masbou by Firmin Massot (auctioned by Sotheby's 30 Oct08). L08035 Lot 143 2365X2855 @72 1.4Mj. The wide collar emphasizes the shoulders, a trend that would accelerate into the early 1830s. The dress has a limited rouleau just above the hem. The sheer lower sleeves is gathered into segments in Mameluke style.
