The serpents parole had been simple and strict, they were free while within their own land, Otogakure. Taking a step outside those borders however, required permission from the Hokage, and the presence of their parole officer. Of course, while they had agreed easily to their terms, they had just as easily ignored them when they felt like it. Slipping away from parole while leaving their watch under the belief they were still home was simple enough. The tricky part, was staying out of sight so no one could report their presence externally. It is when their summons alert them to approaching Fire shinobi, that the Sannin is forced to duck and hide in to a nearby cave. For while they could silence the group by beheading each member, they are quite aware what severe repercussions that would have should word get out. And even the dead could talk if enough evidence proved the serpent had committed the crime. So they choose to hide, the less risky option for a change. However, upon entering, they swiftly become aware that the cave is not as abandoned as it had once seemed from an outside glance. They remain silent while approaching, with catlike footsteps that leave no imprint on the earth they walk. Ethereal in nature, they spot her with sharp chatoyant eyes. Drawing their weapon, the edge of their blade resting on her nape, threatening to slice should she move too swiftly. “Those who hide are usually up to something,” they say lightly, bringing the blade a touch closer, “so tell me dear, what illicit activities bring you to hide so close to my land?”

     Though to be honest he hadn’t worked with anyone since he was on team seven and that was years ago, so he would be lying if he said he wasn’t nervous.

This was a mission with her working with Sasuke Uchiha??!
Why didn’t her mission assignment mention such an important detail?! Wait, maybe he just happened to be at the gate at the same time.
“Sasuke-sama, are you leaving, entering...?” she asked. “Meeting up with an Iwa shinobi for a mission?”
She really hoped it wasn’t the latter.
