Leketid for barneskuespillere
MATILDA Folketeateret, Oslo, søndag 9 oktober Jeg så produksjonen på norsk så prøver jeg å skrive anmeldelsen min på norsk også! Her går vi!

Ovidia Yu, Miss Moorthy Investigates (1989)
Dino Buzatti, Il Segreto del Bosco Vecchio (1935)
My final comment would be; the good thing is that I've read books from a diversity of cultures. Italian, Singaporean, Turkish, American, German, Spanish even a book from Ancient Rome! However, I've noticed that there are only two women writers on the list. THAT should be improved.
My favourite book was by Elena Ferrante. It's all about being a woman, a mother, a wlfe, an individual. Trying to survive out there.

Books of your life
I was tagged by @infinitelystrangemachinex
Childhood book: Childhood favorite ever was probably Misty of Chincoteague by Marguerite Henry which set me off onto horse books for many years. Also special mentions to all of Madeleine L’Engle’s and Meredith Ann Pierce’s  books, The Tombs of Atuan by Ursula K. Le Guin, and The Tripods trilogy by John Christopher for inspiring me to read so much more fantasy and sci-fi.
Reading list: Uh. I have a couple of dozen books sitting on a shelf, 194 to-read on Goodreads, a few hundred more on Amazon lists, another 189 on the library’s ebook system and another 306 on the main library system. I have a lot of things I want to read, and half of what I check out doesn’t even come from one of the lists. I read what I feel like at the time. I just checked out Iced in Paradise by Naomi Hirahara and “The Butcher of Anderson Station” by James S.A. Corey, plus I have on hold The Girlfriend’s Guide to Gods by Maria Dahvana Headey, A Song Below Water by Bethany Morrow, and The Night Tiger by Yangsze Choo. I’m also slowly working through You Look Like A Thing And I Love You by Janelle Shane. And ISM has reminded me that I really ought to get around to catching up with Oathbringer before the next one comes out. So that’ll go on the list at some point soon.
Recently Read: Just this morning I finished Trail of Lightning by Rebecca Roanhorse (recommended). Before that was Network Effect by Martha Wells (also very highly recommended but read the novellas first). Back to back those had some interesting character contrasts. Before that were a couple of romances I’ve already forgotten, then The Frangipani Tree Mystery and The Betel Nut Tree Mystery by Ovidia Yu. These were lovely too - been on a roll with great main characters lately.
