This is my first actual full Vat7k drawing. All of the other ones have just been colored sketches. All that time & effort. Doing lineart, making a background, doing shading. And it’s for. A Hello Neighbor AU,,,,,,,

ANYWAYS Vat7k HN:Welcome To Ravenbrooks AU‼️‼️ Varian and Nuru are talking about how Mrs. Gothel definitely had something to do with the disappearance of her children, & Varian’s friends, Rapunzel and Cassandra. Hugo doesn’t fully believe that she killed them, but he agrees something weird is going on with her. Yong isn’t quite sure what to think, but he still wants to help, he doesn’t want his friends to get hurt.

I aged down the older three a bit because I wanted them to all be similar ages like in the show. So Nuru & Varian are both 14, Hugo’s 15, and Yong is 12 like normal. Since Enzo & Maritza are siblings, Yong & Hugo are too but they aren’t blood related. Adopted or step siblings you can decide ig lol. (Donella isn’t Hugo’s mother in this au btw cuz she’s gonna take Mr. Murtaugh’s place. Also there isn’t an Ivan in the group, so Hugo’s gonna fill in those holes as Enzo)

I had a lot of fun making everyone’s outfits for this. I tried to mix their og outfits and what the kids wear in the show.

The basic premise is that the AU splits completely from the canon at s2 ep4/5

The kids get “forcefully adopted” by the cult of crowface (and crowface themselves) and are kept there (and tortured) until they are able to basically kill crowface and return to society (as much as they can) at 16/17

Also just so ya are aware, Michael and Larry are not part of that, but they are also traumatized as hell <3
