Nic Brunsdon's (This is) Air will be realized outside the National Gallery of Victoria in December as part of the 2023 Triennial. It will inhale and exhale, making visible the air it embodies. [h/t Andrew Russeth, always keeping an eye out for giant inflatable sphere projects for me]
These ideas of volume and undulation also bring to mind Martin Creed's balloon works, and Paul Chan's Breathers. But here it will be at architectural scale, 14 meters high.

sitting in my fine art class (not by choice, my college sucks) as an illustrator and being told to look into Martin Creed
some of his work is fascinating
and then there's work 88, a crumbled paper ball that goes for on AVERAGE £600
