The Jewelled Maverick AU: ‘Pink Starlight’ Ashley Jang

Hi, I have a habit of yoinking other peoples characters and making them into Alternate Versions of themselves. I have created many and have gotten the green light to show off and talk about! This is my Role Swap AU that I made with @mai-mai-lim characters! Ashley Jang and Henry Stickmin [Min Seung-Jae] have Swapped Roles.

Ashley went on to be a Dazzling Thief Named ‘Pink Starlight’ or ‘Starlight’. She failed at breaking into the bank and was arrested. It took her too long to pick pocket a guard of a phone but she eventually lawyer up!

She heard about the diamond and was not about to fail again. looking into it she discovered the Toppats Plans to steal it and executed the plans before they could. Successfully stealing the diamond and picking up a Mary Popins bag from the museum old movies section.

The government impressed kidnapped her to inflate the airship. Offering her to pardon of her crimes, which is rude cause she worked hard on her criminal record and instead asked them to add more crimes after she done. She gets onto the airship pure blood thief and private Investigator style, heading to the records room she meets Brutus and they have awkward moment. Ashley disguised as a Toppat gets Brutus to help her find a file on the newest heist. He does and she has her file for Galeforce.

Eventually she makes her way to the cells which lead to the vault room. As she wants to rob the Toppat of their Ruby on top of their files. She kidnaps Dave by lock picking his cell and making him get into her Mary Popin’s bag of holding. Fiddling with the door, she can’t get it open and ops for the vents.

She in counters Cameron on the way and after some convincing they head to the vault. Cameron who is really suspicious of her is ready for if she try’s anything. Ashley tricks him and lipstick tasers him, yoinking the ruby making a get away. You see, Ashely did grab the headset for PI. She just never put it on but now in the dark photo room she does. Charles is asking and Galeforce is demanding what’s happening she explains that she needs a distraction and ask if Charles can hack into speaker.

He can and so she makes her move. Heading to the Cargo bay she encounters Cameron again pissed the fuck off and ready to kill her. Speaker hacked they end up in a Friday Night Funkin’ inspired battle. Ashley ends up winning and dipping out of the cargo bay doors. The files she grab were not the correct ones but she did kidnap Dave and handed him over to the government as a witness.

Of course the add crimes made her a prime Wall target and she gets captured by them. Without her bag she has no way of getting out just yet.

In the background between Infiltrating the Airship and Fleeing the Complex both Ashley and Cameron developed a rivalry to have as many articles written about them in comparison to the other. They are determine to be the better thief and have been creating elaborate heists. Sabotage each other’s heists and Cameron has been trying to learn ‘Pink Starlights’ Identity as he doesn’t know it yet.

When Ashley is captured by the Wall it is posted all over the News ruining Camerons mood, so he spends a week planing a heist to break into the wall and Rescue all the Toppats there. Brutus has to convince him not to bust in and they sneak into the facility. They get to the control panel of all the cells and Cameron being impatient key smashes the panel, freeing everyone including Ashely.

Running out of her cell she find the room where her bag is being stored and cartoon style climbs in and charges into her normal thief outfit. Running to the exit she is in a western face off against Cameron and the Toppats. About to have a face off, to which Brutus interrupts and yells at them that they have to do that later cause the Wall is about to be on their asses. Ashley and Cameron give each other the ‘I get you next time’ look before awkwardly exited out the same doors.

The Toppats make their escape towards there stole truck before Brutus gets grabbed by Dimitri, Cameron flipping off Dimitri distracts him and they get away. Cameron about to enter the trucks get pulled out by Dimitri, who is pissed the fuck off by Cameron. Ashely seeing this is not letting it slide and drives up on the motorbike slamming Dimitri with a roundabout sign. Silence before Ashely and Camron start arguing again before Brutus grabs him again and forces him into the truck. Ashley drives out to the small bar and ask Charles for a pick up leading us into Completing the Mission.

The space station launch site is a battle felid when Charles and Ashely arrive. Fighting their way through the chaos they mange to make it to the Space Station just as Cameron Launches it into the air. Managing to grab hook her way onto the cargo bay she climbs in. Charles yelling into her ear that she is going to high altitude and to abort mission looking into the cargo bay determined. She see him.

Seung-Jae, her cousin, who she has not talked to for nine years.

“Ashley?” He whispered unsure whether it’s her or not.

“actually, its Starlight now.” Smiling she jumps from the cargo bay doors pulling out an umbrella and floating down grabbing onto Charles Helicopter rails. Upon Climbing in Charles asks her what happened and she smiles a wide sly grin.

“meet an old acquaintance again.”

On the cargo bay Seung-Jae is stunned not expecting to see his cousin after everything. Brutus in the background looks startled at the realization that Henry Stickmin Knows who ‘Starlight’ actually is. This changes everything.

Alright, so, needless to say Hubert comes from a bit ole military family. For current clarification, the squigley lines signify adoption and the dotted line signifies a child born from parents not in a relationship.

Starting at the top!

Dewane and Martha Galeforce got married young and had a whole lotta kids. Dewane was KIA while very shortly after Hubert's birth, so Hubert was the golden child.

Children in order are Mark, Mary, Kaitlyn, Krista, Reynaldo (not featuring his deadname), and Hubert.

> Mark and Mary were twins. Mark went into the military, Mary went into the police force. Mary was KIA.

>> Mark Galeforce married Emma Swain, had Conrad and Bailey Galeforce. Conrad died of cancer in his 20s. When Bailey married John Bukowski and they had twins, she named them Conrad and Calvin, after her brother.

Kaitlyn is somewhat distant from her family due to her parent's disaproval of her being a single mom to her adoptive son, Noah Petters, and said son being trans. They've gotten better over the years, though, and the two have started showing up to family events again.

Krista was killed in a car accident in her teens, when Reynaldo was around 8.

> Between Krista and Dewane dying, Reynaldo had a lot going on and his mother took a lot out on him. By the time Hubert was born, Reynaldo was the oldest kid in the house and in turn expected to help take care of Hubert.

>> Needless to say, when his coming out turned sour, it was the final straw. He had been offered a place in the clan by a buddy of his and he took the offer.

>>> Reynaldo married Jaques Kensington, then Harriet Smith after Jaques' death. Harriet fell pregnant and panicked, murdering Reynaldo and fleeing the clan. She abandoned the baby boy. The signature, H.S., was taken to be the boy's initials and he was named Henry Stickmin.

Hubert dedicated himself to the Military almost immediately and grew distant from the family because of it. By the time he came out as gay and got married to Dmitri Petrov, the family wasn't outright homophobic but Grigori Olyat did fistfight Mark at the wedding for saying some fucked up shit about the couple.

> Dmitri and Grigori adopted Terrence Suave. Yes. I got a taste of this with an au and almost IMMEDIATELY fell in love.

> Terrence had a son, Charles, who he didn't want to be dragged into everything and didn't feel would be safe being raised by a hated ex Toppat leader. So, Hubert adopted him. He got to keep Terrence's new last name, Calvin, and was told of the situation pretty early in life. It's why he's chill with criminals/crime but still doesn't approve of the Toppats.

Petrov Family Tree

I DID IT. Ignore the shit quality I did this with a mouseoidafh explainations under cut!! This will probably be reworked eventually but this is what I have right now

SO. Starting at the top;

Damien and Arker Petrov, two brothers whose father started The Wall. Damien stayed in Russia to start a family whilst Arker went to run The Wall after their father's death.

Damien married Lilly Ivanov and had a daughter and son, Anastasia and Dmitri Petrov. They were horrible parents.

Dmitri was sent to work under Arker at The Wall after coming out as gay, being told that his strict uncle would "whip him back into shape". Let's just say that was 1. a bit too literal and 2. A Horrible Idea.

> Dmitri met Grigori Olyat at The Wall, and Hubert Galeforce while being dragged along for diplomatic meetings. He falls in love with both and it takes about 20 years for him to admit it.

>> Grigori Olyat would be the one to find out the full extent or Arker's abuse and murder the bastard. Good riddance.

Anastasia was expected to stay home; however, she fled the abusive household shortly after Dmitri was sent away. She wound up in America.

> She had an unfortunate experience and fell pregnant because of it. Knowing she wasn't fit to be a parent after the childhood she had, she put the baby girl, Mary, up for adoption.

>> Mary's adoptive parents were wonderful and kept Anastasia's information so that Mary could reach out to her eventually. The two wound up having a long-distance relationship, as Anastasia lived almost entirely off-the-grid.

>>> Mary Roberts married and had a child with Ian Wright, only to find out he was cheating on her. When they divorced, their child changed their name to Zane Roberts.

On the other side of the tree, Arker had a child with a guard at The Wall named Odelia Jane. She died of childbirth complications, and he named the child Wrench Jane.

> Wrench shortened her name to Wren for obvious reasons.

Wren fell in love with a Toppat, Ryan, and helped him escape The Wall. She joined the clan with him and they had a daughter named Carol.

> When Wren was captured by The Wall during a raid, Arker murdered her. Ryan worried that Arker would go after Carol if he found out about her connection to Wren, so he left Carol in the care of the clan and fled.

>> Carol would grow up to become Carol Cross, a Toppat elite. She doesn't know of her family history, only that her parents died in The Wall.

Alright, I want to info dump first thing in the morning, so I am going to info dump about the Crossover AU for The Henry Stickmin Collection/Marvels Spider-Man.

First off, I think it should be called ‘Webbed Up AU’, since it sounds cool, but it also could be called ‘Charles Calvin | Spider-Man AU’ since it also makes sense. This can also be done with the sequel of Miles Morales.

Second, under the cut is going to be ALL of the characters replacing characters and why I feel like it would fit. It’s 11:23 in the morning writing this specific message, I’ll place the ending time here: 2:35 in the afternoon

Thirdly, It is the universe of Henry Stickmin replacing characters within the Spider-Man game. I am not cross referencing deaths from both games, but some may accidentally appear.

Forth, I am NOT including DLC’s, this is only the base game. Maybe I’ll include DLC’s later in the future, after watching them, but this is going based off of my knowledge of the base game.

Charles Calvin as Peter Parker: I find this choice to be fitting. While Charlie is a little more monotone compared to Peter, they both are a bit childish, carefree, wants to do what’s best for their city/country. Peter loves swinging around, Charlie loves flying around. While Peter avoids busting into building, he still has fun with it, and you know Charlie would as well.

Victoria Grit as Aunt May: While there isn’t a lot of evidence for this one, she is one of the only members of the government, of a high rank, that is canonically female. No doubt, her and Charlie have gotten along or chat about with each other about missions. So, her as Aunt May, with no evidence of Charlie’s family makes sense, in my mind.

Hubert Galeforce as Mister Negative/Martin Li: Martin Li is seen as someone you can trust at first, before he turns his back on Peter, unknowingly. Galeforce can be seen as a morally grey character from the games, which I personally agree with, and with that falling into place, he turns his back on Charlie. Falling into place, it makes sense. 1/6

Henry Stickmin and Ellie Rose as Harry Osborn and Mary Jane: MJ, Harry, and Peter are essentially the ‘triple threat’ of the Spider-Man universe Now, these two are interchangeable, but I see Henry as MJ just the slightest bit more, due to MJ’s stealthy nature and ability to think quick. Plus Henry X Charlie is also a huge possibility. But, both of these characters could be either character. For this, I am making Henry MJ, and Elli Harry.

Dr. Vinschpinsilstien as Doctor Octopus/Doctor Otto Octavius: They both tamper with cybernetics, both use on amputees, and their both doctors. While Dr. Vin is seen as a better alignment compared to Doc Ock, Doc Ock WAS a good guy before the cybernetic arms began messing with his brain. Trying to do something for the better, but failing due to the corruption of the components. Anyone can change from good to bad with corruption. 2/6

Right Hand Man as Jefferson Davis: While RHM, in canon, wouldn’t exactly become a police officer, it makes sense that if he was a good aligned character to become an officer/detective. Him and Charlie also seem like they would get along, I don’t exactly know why, but they would. Henry and RHM canonically get along (to some extent), which is another reason why I made Henry MJ.

Reginald Copperbottom as Rio Morales: Okay, you know I had to bring CopperRight in here. But, Reginald as Rio made sense to me, both strong and independent, putting the safety of there family before there own, making sure that their children are alright. I haven’t played Miles Morales Spider-Man, I’m just going off the bit of ‘Into The Spider-Verse’ that I saw of her. Also going based off this fact, RHM would 100% embarrass Sven the same way Jefferson did with Miles.

Sven Svensson as Miles Morales: Yes, based upon the headcanon that is RHM and Reginald are Sven’s adopted parents. But, it still makes sense in my mind. Sven is awkward, Miles is awkward, and you can’t tell me that they would both they wouldn’t flutter around in the air just for the Hell of it. I can’t give a full amount of evidence, as there isn’t too much support for it, other than the headcanon that both makes sense and adds to the family side of the story.

Grigori Olayt as Silver Sable: Why not Dmitri, you ask? Well, that will come a bit later when I DO put Dmitri down. Grigori follows orders given to him, even if it damages other, but his intentions aren’t meant to BE bad. Both of them are good people, and Silver realizes this later in the future, and I feel like Grigori would realize it at some point, that The Wall’s intentions aren’t good like his.

Rupert Price as Yuri Watanabe: Putting him instead of Johnny makes sense. Rupert has been in both the police force and the military. He already has a relationship with Charlie, and it would be easier for them to have an established deal before story, like Peter and Yuri do. Yes, Charlie would be just as annoying to Rupert as Peter is to Yuri. Yes, Spider-Cop would STILL be a running joke between them.

Kyle Baxter as Norman Osborn: Running off another headcanon form The Henry Stickmin Collection, that Dr. Vin used to work for The Wall until the CCC showed up. Kyle Baxter is The Wall Liason that works for the CCC. Norman Osborn says that he ‘wants the best’ for Doc Ock, but it’s a double edged sword that bites him in the ass later down the line.

Dmitri Johannes Petrov as Rhino/Aleksei Sytsevich: Yes, we’re getting into some bad guys now! Big, bad, tough, and runs headfirst into things. Not afraid to bark out commands and gets angry at the inconvenience of things not going properly. Also, Santa Clause would 100% piss Dmitri off as a nickname. 3/6

Terrence Suave as Vulture/Adrian Toomes: A winged, electronical engineer with a bit of anger issues, only wanting to protect his family and be there? Yes. Another divergent of a headcanon, aka Father Terrence to Burt Curtis, but this one supports the role further. Basically, Adrian is the ‘what if Terrence Sauve controlled himself’ and succeeded. There’s not much evidence, and can be subjected to change. 4/6

Dave Panpa as Shocker/Herman Schultz: Listening to Herman’s dialogue in game matches the energy of Dave that he’s put out from the beginning. Nervous, a follower, and finds themselves in a lot of unlikely situations. While Herman is a lot more combative than Dave, it still fits, as the ONLY weapon Dave has used was a taser. Literally. And that worked better than his fists. {Changed as I got characters confused}

Gadget Gabe as Scorpion/MacDonald “Mac” Gargan: As we NEVER see Gadget Gabe, we can go based off of his object, which not only subject a lot of possible torture and/or death to users, his comments on the notes are similar to how Mac speaks. While Gabe is a neutral force, comparing to Mac’s job as a ‘Gun for Hire’, Gabe’s gadget’s would be able to create the scorpion costume, and with the help of Dr. Vin (as the Scorpion costume IS cybernetic), I think it’s pretty nifty. 5/6

Sir Wilford IV as the Kingpin/Wilson Fisk: This match was, without a doubt, the easiest one to make. Their entire demeanor separate matches each other. Wilford wants what’s best for the clan, and Fisk genuinely DOES try to help out their city. Strong, unbreakable mental beliefs, and will (literally) run head first into something if it means the possibility of getting what he wants. Although taken out early and not seen again, his lead still holds strong even though he is incarcerated.

Al Kohaul as Electro/Maxwell “Max” Dillon: Al is the only one within the Henry Stickmin games that gets affect, directly, with electricity. Although he may deal with photography and photographs, there’s just something about Max and Al that just seem so.. In tune with each other. I don’t know what it is, but if I find a better match, Al is Max. 6/6

Reynaldo the Brute as Taskmaster: I can’t exactly explain WHY this works, but good God, read Taskmaster’s wiki (here’s the link) and tell me it just doesn’t scream Reynaldo. I have no evidence, I have no facts, I’m going off vibe alone ans it works.

Milhouse Filmore “M.F.” Jones as Tombstone/Lonnie Lincoln: M.F. looks like he could be the leader of a biker gang and own it, and honestly, his smaller top hat makes him look like he’s bigger than he actually is. Regardless, it’s another vibe, as M.F. only has one, quick scene, but he OWNED that scene, if I’m being completely honest.

Carol Cross as Black Cat/Felicia Hardy: While Carol is more strict than Felicia, there is something about her that says she would gladly play a game of cat and mouse, if she was able to use manipulation on her target. While bad in the real world, makes great content for a Spider-Man game. (I do not condone manipulation, it sucks, I’ve been a victim to it plenty of times)

Ahnoldt Schwarz as J. Jonah Jameson: This is not only a funny image, but both men scream like it’s no one’s business. Comedy purposes, both of them.

-Factions-

The Wall as Sable International: This one just remotely makes sense to me, as they’re both Russian services, trying to help the government in a way that wouldn’t normally be seen as ‘helpful’. It is a little more round-a-bout with the way that help comes, but it still helps.

Police Force as the Police Force: Since we don’t see much of either police force in either game series, and they’re both very clearly established, it makes since to have both of them as police forces.

Toppat’s as Fisk’s Gang/Thugs: Criminal force with a criminal leader? Yep, count it in. I’m grouping the thugs along with it, as they essentially act the same, and they’re the first forces that you see as enemies.
