It was undoubtedly a creative and artistic person who created this day that shines a spotlight on the importance and power of art. We often don’t realize the impact art can have on our hearts. It can inspire, motivate, guide, and touch us in more ways than we can imagine.

Art has been around for a very long time. Several archaeologists found the first artifacts of human art, which date back to the Stone Age. Since then, art has developed over the years and is appreciated for a variety of reasons. Inspire Your Heart with Art Day is celebrated by various art organizations and strives towards appreciating all forms of art.

Many associate art with paintings only but it comes in many forms and it almost always inspires or touches your heart. Inspire Your Heart with Art Day is the perfect day to take a closer look at a piece of art to understand what the artist is trying to communicate. With an open mind, you can allow it to inspire you and change your perspective on many things. Art satisfies our basic need for harmony and balance, and it brings people together. STATEMENT FROM THE CLIMATE MAYORS IN RESPONSE TO PRESIDENT TRUMP’S WITHDRAWAL FROM THE PARIS CLIMATE AGREEMENT June 1st 2017

The President’s denial of global warming is getting a cold reception from America’s cities.

As 187 US Mayors representing 52 million Americans, we will adopt, honor, and uphold the commitments to the goals enshrined in the Paris Agreement. We will intensify efforts to meet each of our cities’ current climate goals, push for new action to meet the 1.5 degrees Celsius target, and work together to create a 21st century clean energy economy.

We will continue to lead. We are increasing investments in renewable energy and energy efficiency. We will buy and create more demand for electric cars and trucks. We will increase our efforts to cut greenhouse gas emissions, create a clean energy economy, and stand for environmental justice. And if the President wants to break the promises made to our allies enshrined in the historic Paris Agreement, we’ll build and strengthen relationships around the world to protect the planet from devastating climate risks.

The world cannot wait — and neither will we.

Here is our guide to Star Trek: Picard – Season 1 episodes.

The series features Sir Patrick Stewart reprising his iconic role as Jean-Luc Picard. He was the Captain of the Enterprise for seven seasons on Star Trek: The Next Generation.

In the new series we will see what happen to this iconic character in his next chapter of life. It looks like it will be really interesting with themes concerning Androids and also the classic Borg. Also, we will get to meet many of original characters from Next Generation. Those we don’t may well pop up in future season. Just recently, live of air, Patrick Stewart invited Whoopi Goldberg to reprise her role for Star Trek: Picard Season 2.

Jean-Luc Picard (Sir Patrick Stewart) is living a quiet life on his vineyard, Chateau Picard. The series is set at the end of the 24th Century. This is 14 years after his retirement from Starfleet.

However, when he is sought out by a mysterious young woman, Dahj (Isa Briones) things change for Jean-Luc. This woman is in need of his help.

He is having dreams of Data (Brent Spiner). Only then realizes she may actually have personal connections to his own past.

Meanwhile, hidden enemies are also interested in where Picard’s search for the truth about Dahj will lead.
