really thinking about the potential of s2 of the pitt

thinking abt it being a few months post pittfest and we follow robby who’s coming off a months long hiatus off work but is so not ready to come back and lead the way everyone is expecting him too. because he’ll remember leah along after everyone else has forgotten her. because the er is haunted by all the people he couldn’t save but he has to keep going for all the people he can save.

thinking abt a santos who might be on a surgical rotation or coming off one and going back to the er.. shes still ever so confident and finding her place at the pitt. she’s been given her own nickname that she absolutely hates. but of course the day she comes back to the er is the day langdon is back. she’ll have to deal with that guilt for exposing robbys “best resident” and face him and his so called authority. she’s in for a day.

thinking about a langdon who freshly divorced and has to face the entire ed post reveal. he’s tasked with proving himself and managing his sobriety while also having to ask for help and show that vulnerability he probably hasn’t ever had to show since he was an intern. and the fact that he might be out of a job in a few months because he’s really not getting that fellowship and he might’ve missed out on those key months of applying to different ones or attending spots. but a langdon who’s willing to do what he can to continue to be a doctor and maybe deal with that growing tension with santos.

thinking about a collins who’s getting her groove back. waiting to hear back on her apps for fellowships and attending spots while looking into adoption. but maybe she’s a little stressed out, maybe spread a little thin as her residency is coming to an end. maybe she’s deciding to specialize in something completely different for her fellowship year that’ll take her across country. but despite it all she’s still got her footing. (I rebuke writing anything sad about her sorry ofmaoaoaos)

thinking about robby & langdon’s first day back being javadi and whittakers last day at the pitt and what it means for them and their futures as doctors. and for the inevitable goodbye party thrown by dana that gets interrupted by someone stealing an ambulance…again.
