Felt inspired to draw Bubbly!Mabel from Dicerollball's #MemoryFallsAU! I know she's not having a good time, but her design is precious!

A part of me wants to post what I do have of MemoryFalls on tumblr already, though fair warning most of it is either unfinished or being redrawn and redone. I'll share a small, basic idea of it though:

MemoryFalls is centered around Fiddleford's perspective of an Evil Ford AU. In this Alternate Timeline, Stanford betrays everyone when they needed him most and joins Bill's side. Bill wins, sending the universe into a chaotic Weirdmageddon.

Despite being evil however, Stanford still shows that he cares deeply for his friends and family. To the point he literally has his heart on his sleeves (golden pins on his cuffs, one of a pinetree and one of a shootingstar. He's even stolen Stan's suit.) His design is being reworked, so lack of proper Evil Stanford art right now. Though this is his OLD DESIGN:

As for Fiddleford, his body was turned 30 years younger because that was how Stanford last physically saw him. However, Fiddleford himself still has his same old mind. He's not the same as Stanford remembers him as entirely, but he holds onto that nostalgia. He has missed Fiddleford greatly, but also gained an obsession.

Stanford pretty much makes Fiddleford live with him now... but Bill isn't too happy about the new resident inside the Fearamid.

As for Mabel, Dipper, and Stan. They start off in their own separate prison bubbles. Mabel especially is stuck the longest.

In this AU, all the cast have very different designs and stories from each other, which I'm excited to explore more of in the future. I'm still debating if I should keep it fanfic-written or start delving into making comics and short stories of what's going on in everyone's perspectives. I've already spoiled a lot of how Dipper and Mabel will turn out further along the storyline, but that's because I couldn't shut up about my favorite Pines twins. There's a lot more to go over, but that's the start of MemoryFalls! Their eyes locked when Stanford approached. Fiddleford, who had been searching the refreshments for anything useful, immediately startled and ducked underneath the table. He pushed past the odd, silken material that seemed to pulse with life as it gave this iridescent sheen when disturbed. The texture left the old man shuddering with disgust. Fiddleford let out an annoyed grunt as he pulled his hands close to himself and hunched over, making his body small. He didn't want to touch anything, didn't want to be here, but the chain around his neck refused to let him go far. The rambunctious chaos of the party continued to pound at his ears as the music overwhelmed him and the cackling laughter of monsters left him shaken. He gripped at his hair, tugging at it as his anxiety rose.

Then a familiar voice appeared, making him jump, "Fiddleford..?"

He snapped his eyes up to see Stanford knelt in front of him, now hiding under the same table. Except it was the other Stanford. A different one entirely who wore a crimson fluffy coat, a long white and red outfit just underneath, and a shimmering golden collar. They wore jewelry, and had pearls adorning their neck that made Fiddleford think of a similar gift he once gave his ex wife, Emma-May. On his left cheek was a small but notable red heart, marked besides the corner of their eye. This was not the same Stanford that Fiddleford currently knew. Still, he felt himself bristle in alarm.

"What do ya want?" He questioned.

Hurt, Stanford softly spoke, "I just want to talk..." He cautiously offered a red gloved hand. One that had Bill's symbol right on it.

Fiddleford looked hesitant and eyed them with a wary gaze, "What's there to talk about? You're with Bill too, ain't you?"

This Stanford flinched, but he let out a tired sigh, "Not that I had a choice."

Fiddleford went quiet for a moment as he glanced at the golden collar around the other's neck. His hand gingerly reached up to brush against his blue collar, buzzing with otherworldly energy, that still wrapped around his own throat. A strange sense of understanding washed between the two as they locked eyes again.

Memory Falls AU Changes 5/7/2025

Sorry for deleting my fanfic "Your Memory Falls" off of Archive Our Own. I'm not very happy with it as it currently was and want to rewrite it entirely or turn it into a comic instead.

I have saved the old version of the fanfic however, and I guess I could share the document to anyone who asks... maybe ;>.> Again, not very happy with how it turned out lol.

But we have a redesign for the Evil!Stanford in the AU! Thanks to WittyMumble on Twitter!!

Man. I kinda want to rewrite my MemoryFalls fanfic. Or I might scrap it and go full comic instead tbh.

I’m just not happy with it as it is right now xD

Anyways. Keep an eye out for redraws of the characters and their designs. Stanford himself is going through a overhaul!

I'll be honest, I've been afraid of making Memory Falls content because I worry about the assumptions others would make when it comes to Fiddleford and Ford's characters.

Already I had someone infantilize Fiddleford, like no he's a grown feral man that can build death robots and kill. Trust me.

Ntm Ford is evil in this AU but I haven't rly had the chance to explore him which I think also makes people uncomfortable, but tbh I mostly just keep him as Ford except he made a different, drastic choice for a specific reason. That reason would be revealed over time with the story, because that's the mystery of the AU rn.

His clothing choice is to make him different from regular Ford and have his own unique design, but also I like to imagine Bill mostly picked it out for him.

I think I said somewhere that the AU is a canon divergent timeline where everything changes at the Fearamid showdown, but if I'm gonna be honest everything changes the moment Ford gets thrown into the portal..
