It felt like a full lifetime since he’d left Iván at the hospital. Honestly, Patrick didn’t really believe Ari when she told him that he had to get as far away from Iván if he wanted to make up for all of the bad that had happened so that he could hope to get back together. He definitely didn’t trust his father, who he firmly believed should still be in jail. The man had tried to have him bury one of his own best friends, after all. But here he was anyway, traveling the world with his family, waiting for them to choose a new place to stay, and feeling utterly and totally alone. He’d been through hell since they’d transferred to Las Encinas, and some might argue that his hell had begun long before then. So while his sisters had brought him to a club to try to raise his spirits, he remained still in a corner, hearing and seeing nothing but a variety of memories flying across the backs of his eyelids.

because i didn’t saw anything yet but there’s a bit of curiosity in me that’s pushing and says “just watch it” so please help me and tell me if it’s worth it

Rebeka & Mencia | Chaotically Beautiful

As a typical gen Z who has no self-control, I pulled an all-nighter on Elite season 4. Not to be bias (I am tho) but I mainly continue the show for Rebeka. And now that she has a love interest who happens to be a girl and is able to match her energy, I'm hyped.

I'm gonna leave a big ass spoiler alert here for those who haven't watched it yet

BIG ASS SOILER ALERT

Buckle up everyone. This is not a rollercoaster, it's fking a train wreck.

1. Theỉr energy together was *chef kiss*

Rebeka with her flashy clothes and very extra expression, was so comfotable with herself, her way of living and her regular surroundings. Menrica was the type of straight-forward, borderline annoying, yet very bold and knew what she wanted.

A when Mencia showed up, their energy clashed and the confident Rebe was thrown off her own game. She had her guard up so high with her love and trust so when Menrica was full on flirting and attacking her (lovingly), her defence mechanism was panic and run.

2. Their softness for each other ONLY

Don’t let their rebellious badass attitude deceive you cause when these bitches switch to GF mode, it’d be like puppy and unicorn and rainbow and cotton candy and clouds istg

My favorite moment was when Rebe saved Mencia in the hotel room and Mencia begged Rebe not to look at her like that then Rebe simply hugged her urghhhhhhh it was so good

3. Well-written characters

I love that we got to see a shy, insecured Rebe and the uncertainty in her thoughts and action toward Mencia.  Rebeka loved hard. And as Sandra said, she was impatient and would run right back even if she was hurt. The writers constantly reminded us by having her saved Mencia.. twice which was the hottest OMG

I kinda understood Mencia sittuation and how she couldn’t cut Armando off. Most teenagers would shit their pants if anyone said one of these words: family, school, future. And I think Mencia was no exception. I really couldn’t blame her for her naivety which later unintentionally hurted Rebe.

They both really connected and showed their vulnerability to each other even though this relationship could be somewhat immature and dependent.

My dislikes:

They don’t have enough time to “breathe” - Ì feel like the Armando plot was too pushy which left them no to little room for actual bonding experience as a couple.

The “chocolate” scence - This was a WTF moment for me solely because it looks quite muddy and unnecessary.

The New Year kiss - while other people had some decent kisses, my girls got 1 sec of screen time with no lighting? I’d say homophobic.

To end this rant, I’d like to confess my obsession over Rebeka and Mencia. I hope they have more development in S5 since Armando is now Armandon’t.

Quite the opposite of her older sister, Ari. If she is the absolute order, Mencía is chaotic, belligerent, self-destructive and a kamikaze that leads in the opposite direction to the rest of her family. But this is within the walls of her house, because outside of them she has a sweetness and a light that she keeps giving to the people she considers most special.
