Eeee very excited to get this one out, but I’m happy to announce Mewtwo’s official name! Odysseus! I’ve had this in mind for… a while, don’t remember how long, we’ve all just been calling him Ody behind the scenes for months XD

For those who know the story of the odyssey, please keep in mind names are taken from the ideas, characteristics, and parallels, of these characters, not their direct story. Also congrats to all those who figured out Odysseus’s name early when I started tagging relevant posts! Very well done ;3c

As promised, the comic has done a small time skip from October to December (current IRL time). Iris is 5 months old here, but she is about the age of a 9 year old human in Mew years.

Okay, here is my first try for a comic arc? Basically to try out how drawing comics would work on my tablet and Ibis Paint X. Read this like a manga

Leading up to Mewtwo's first Christmas, when he has never partaken in human traditions before. This is from when Monika and Mewtwo haven't been together for very long yet (so basically at the beginning of their relationship). Monika basically...has no home she can return to, for a reason I will reveal soon enough.

It feels weirdly cathartic to now be able to draw what my 12 year old self never could but always wanted to.

It's probably best to yell something like "Fore!" when practising your Pokeball pitches. Otherwise, some two's flight or fight response may kick in at the sight of a Pokeball coming at it.

Now we've had Mewtwo interacting with every one of my "main" cast but Cheecha, which I'm not worried about as much.

Also every time I imagine the ball hitting his head, I think of a specific Vine
