I will also be raising money for the charities National Autistic Society and Ehlers-Danlos Support UK, with some cool Doctor Who related prizes.

You can chose you donate to either National Autistic Society or Ehlers-Danlos Support UK, or both you just need to use the same name so I can work out reward entries if it affects things.

I almost didn’t walk today, but I persevered. I’m happy about that, both for my health and because I got to listen to the next episode of this story. I realized that part of what makes this episode feel different is not just that Fraser Hines isn’t playing the Doctor as well as Jamie, but that it’s rare to get a story of the Troughton Doctor without Jamie. And I know he’ll return eventually, but it’s fun seeing this Doctor away from that friendship. Doctor Who charity season on twitch.

Schedule for my Doctor Who season, where I am celebrating the 60th anniversary and raising money for National Autistic Society and Ehlers-Danlos Support UK. This autograph bundles are all genuine autographs, I've spent the last at 20 conventions/signing events and from agents, so all the help I can get to get the word out and raise a good amount for these charities would be wonderful. Autistic brain is good at collecting and organising the task, but not great with promotion. Back on the treadmill after a day of feeling under the weather, and back to the new second Doctor adventures! I love how this first episode, at least, feels like the beginning of a Pertwee Doctor and UNIT story, only with the much different Troughton Doctor instead. Walked and finished this story (except for the interviews)! I loved it; I felt like it really captured the weird feel of the Troughton Doctor stories while also feeling fresh and new. I was excited to start this new set of second Doctor adventures; excited enough that I got up and walked! I’ve always had a soft spot for The War Games. It was the first whole Doctor Who story I ever experienced, my first Doctor Who novel after seeing scattered episodes on TV. Michael Troughton does an excellent job in the role of the Doctor, capturing the feel of his dad’s performance without sounding like an imitation. And we’ve never seen this hitherto-unknown period of the Doctor’s life, so I’m curious to see where things go. This new third Doctor story (guest starring the second Doctor and Jamie, in the context of their upcoming new adventures) was a lot of fun! I particularly liked the foreshadowing of a particular TV adventure. And I appreciated that with Fraser Hines playing Jamie, we got at least one original cast member playing his character.
