Autumn with a smile: Blooming jewellery that cheer you up
British scientists have proven that buying new jewellery improves mood by 37%. Or maybe not at 37, and the scientists were not British, but the fact that earrings, rings, and bracelets from our selection help to defeat the autumn spleen is a proven fact. This autumn, brighten your mind with blooming jewellery online.
Tumblr media
Our mood is influenced by the little things with which we independently fill our day. So that sadness and longing do not take over and dilute everyday life with bright and stylish things. Take on an unusual trend - bright like toys, jewellery made of epoxy resin.
Tumblr media
Translucent ringlets or earrings, in which flower buds, plants, and pieces of wood are hidden, look like works of art. They are truly unique – it is simply impossible to make two identical products from jewellery resin.
Brush earrings
In autumn, it is crucial to choose accessories in any bright colours. From azure to rich cherry, there are many you can choose from. And the longer and more noticeable the earrings are, the better. Fringe is now returning to fashion. If you are the kind of person who loves a more serious type of jewellery, then this also suits you the best. You can also buy ruby earrings. These are the trendiest designs.
Tumblr media

One of the main advantages of earrings is that they go well with hats. Wear them with a wide-brimmed hat, a leather Panama and a knitted turban. And in the evening or cocktail image you can try to wear only one brush - as a mono-earring.
Tumblr media
Solar Amber
In the season of total shortage of sunny days, jewellery in yellow and orange colours deserves special attention. This fall, it ceased to be considered a vintage element - the leading fashion houses turned to democratic minerals. Amber inserts decorate geometric and avant-garde earrings, amber beads are mixed with massive chains, and bracelets are mixed with leather watches and large rings.
Jewellery with an insert of resin colour fits well into the burgundy-ochre range of seasonal clothing. As for texture, wear large amber accessories with voluminous sweaters, knitted brows, and eco-leather clothing.

Jewellery with prints
Animalistic, floral, cartoon patterns, polka dots or checkered and even funny inscriptions - prints decorate not only clothes but also jewellery. Such rings and earrings perfectly diversify monochrome bows, and if you choose a pattern with bright details, they also cheer you up.
Pay attention to the models made of ceramics or coloured enamel - they represent the fashion trend of autumn 2021, and if it is also a voluminous hyper-size ring, the accessory will turn out to be multi-trend.
Lollipop stones
Montpensier, pastilles, strawberry ice cream, and cotton candy - do you agree, that one list already makes you happy? Inserts of coloured ornamental stones of such a "sweet" pastel range look touching and naive, which does not prevent them from being combined even with business suits because a mixture of styles rules the ball.
Cherry blossom necklace
In the market, you can also find a variety of cherry blossom necklaces. We are sure that this will make your season more beautiful. These are made up of beautiful stones with an amazing attractive chain. So buy these necklaces now!
Tumblr media
Try to combine jewellery with multi-coloured inserts with each other, dilute them with status watches, scarves with monograms, and strict weaving of Milanese bracelets - the more unexpected the experiment, the more likely you are to be known as a style icon. And finally, it's just fun – but our task was to defeat the autumn spleen?

Engagement Ring Moissanite Singapore Buying Guide: Popular Prong Settings
Engagement Ring Moissanite Singapore Buying Guide: Popular Prong Settings https://ift.tt/cEetugr The setting of your Moissanite rings is as unique as your personality. If you’re looking for an engagement ring, the right setting will add character to your piece of jewellery. The prong setting is used to intensify the brilliance and beauty of the finest Moissanite without going out of style. To help you decide which details of Moissanite Singapore you need to consider, we will discuss the most popular prong setting techniques. What is a prong? Designed for single stone or solitaire rings, a prong is a small piece of metal inserted into a ring in an unobscured view to keep the gem in place. NUMBER OF PRONGS The number of prongs depends on the shape and cut of the stone. Typically, for rounded or square-shaped stones, 4 or 6 prongs are used. The 4-prong is usually for smaller gems while the 6-prong is for the larger gem. For fancy shapes like the heart or oval, 3 or 6 prongs are used to secure the most fragile spots.                               ORIENTATION OF PRONG TIPS How the prongs are arranged affects the visual presentation of the gemstone. There are 2 orientations of prong tips: compass and corner. In an engagement ring compass setting, the prongs of the ring setting are positioned in the four main directions of a compass which are the North, South, East and West. This type of setting allows greater exposure to the brilliance and sparkle of the Moissanite placed within its claws. Having it aligned that way makes the gem look round. On the other hand, setting the prongs at the corner of the gem accentuates a slightly squarish shape, offering a vintage feel. SHAPE OF THE PRONG TIPS Prong tips come in various shapes such as: Claw Prong Tip Claw prongs resemble a claw which has pointed ends. It extends its tip towards the crown of the gem to latch it in place, making it more secure compared to other types. Round-edged Prong Tip For engagement rings, rounded prongs are the most common type of setting due to their discreet design. The prongs with a rounded head stretch just above the girdle of the stone. Square Prong Tip Just like the rounded-edged tip, square prongs are extended above the edge of the stone with minimal metal coverage to protect the gem but at the same time allow the gem to flourish. RING HEAD SETTING TiffanySetting Tiffany setting or crown setting is the popular choice for a solitaire Moissanite ring with a plain band. A timeless and elegant form, this setting has 4 or 6 prongs propelling the stone to maximise its scintillation. Pave Setting Becoming more and more common with engagement rings, Pave settings have tiny holes in the shanks for extra flashes of light to enter and pave way for the luxurious beauty of the solitaire stone. Basket Crown A basket crown has a space under the Moissanite to allow light to pass through. An interesting design, this setting makes a sophisticated head style for round and princess gem shapes. Halo Setting As its name would suggest, a Halo setting has a centre stone surrounded by a halo of smaller gemstones. The centre stone, which can be square or round, appears to be visibly larger from a distance. With its micro gems in single or double rows, the ring exudes more luminosity.  What’s the Best Prong Setting for Engagement Ring? The final say lies in your personal preferences. Ideally, you must find a balance between prongs that provides extra security for the Moissanite stone while making it stand out. Ensure top-notch craftsmanship that reflects durability and the ring’s overall appearance. The complexity also lies in reaching flawless alignment – a painstaking task requiring extreme precision. The quality of the gemstones’ cut is as important as their inherent quality and clarity. Each baguette not only needs to be eye clean (i.e. no visible inclusion by the naked eye), its lines and stepped facets have to be perfectly symmetrical and aligned. To this is added the challenge of reaching a smooth gradation between the blue hues. Once combined, the baguette-cut sapphires give a certain edge to the piece, while further enhancing the architectural movement’s 3D effect and play of light. These two models set with baguette-cut sapphires will be available in select Audemars Piguet points of sale in 2022. A blend of high jewellery and cutting-edge micro-mechanics The new Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Concept Flying Tourbillon timepieces bring a colourful vibe to the collection. The dial of the new offering shimmers with faceted pyramids paved with blue sapphires, diamonds or rainbow-coloured gemstones, revealing part of the movement ticking within. The openworked barrel of hand-wound Calibre 2951, visible at 11 o’clock, gives a rare glimpse at the coiled mainspring – the watch’s power source. The satin-finished bridges with polished angles and white lacquered decorations, visible in the background of the openworked dial, can also be admired through the sapphire caseback. The flying tourbillon, which compensates for the effect of gravity and enhances the watch’s accuracy, makes its rotation at 6 o’clock. The tourbillon is set with brilliant-cut gemstones – an art in itself for such a small feather-light component. The original Royal Oak Concept Flying Tourbillon was the first Audemars Piguet watch to be equipped with a flying tourbillon, along with the Royal Oak Concept Flying Tourbillon GMT, paving the way for a new generation of complex timepieces blending ancestral expertise with bold aesthetics. https://www.instagram.com/p/CUt-hChMdY5/?utm_medium=tumblr

Garnet, wrapped in a nest of asbestos
Also known as The king of garnets, Demantoid or Andradites are the most expensive of the family, and the gemmier versions practically glow thanks to their unique gemmological properties. They are different to their green cousin Tsavorite (http://bit.ly/1ygBzM5), and vary from a yellowish or brownish green to a deep hue as fine as the best emeralds. They are also known sometimes as Urals emerald, since they were first discovered there in 1868. So far, all the deposits found result from one flavour or another of metamorphism.
They are a form of calcium iron garnet called andradite, with the green colour resulting from chromium, and the yellow component from iron. Named by a Dutch scientist from the archaic German name for diamond, they have a very high lustre (how much light they reflect), called adamantine by mineralogists, and caused by the gem's high refractive index (how much it bends light rays passing through). They also have a very high dispersion (aka fire). This is what causes the flashes of colour in diamonds as they are moved, and is due to fact that the different wavelengths of colour in white light have different energies, and are bent in varying amounts by the crystal structure as the light rays pass through. Demantoid's dispersion is higher than diamond's.
Discovered in 1868 near Ekaterinburg region, the initial Russian deposits result from the orogenic metamorphism that welded Europe to Siberia and uplifted the Ural mountains (see http://bit.ly/2ooyAEU). They took the jewellery world of the Belle Epoque (1880-1914) by storm, and practically vanished from the world market after the Bolshevik revolution and civil war of 1917-21. Peter Carl Faberge used them a lot, especially small stones in pave settings in his famous objet's d'art, a necessity of the up and coming aristocrat or industrialist's collections.
Its hardness is high enough for use in all kinds of jewellery. Yellow stones display more fire, while the deep green ones have a lovely glow, but the fire is usually masked by the saturation of the body colour. Most stones are well under a carat, and examples over three are extremely rare. Russian stones carry a cachet in the market, commanding a premium in price. They can be identified by yellow hair like inclusions called horsetails, composed of fibres of chrysotile asbestos radiating outwards from black chromite micro-crystals near the crystal's centre. Some Italian stones (from the Alpine orogeny due to Africa's ongoing collision with Europe) also have these inclusions, but are usually yellow or brown rather than green. Unlike Tsavorite, some stones are low temperature heat treated, presumably to change the valency of the iron and remove the yellow colour component. This sample (6.8 x 2.4 x 1.3 cm) is a very unusual non gemmy Italian specimen consisting of many intergrown micro crystals with the chrysotile fibres on the outside.
They returned to the gem market in quantity in 1996, when a goatherd found some green crystals at Spitzkoppje in Namibia. These stones are less included than the Russian ones, lack horsetails, but sometimes display stunning colours. A further find was made in Madagascar, where the mining conditions are very difficult. The deposit is in a tidal mangrove swamp and covered by the tide twice daily, and the rainy season from October to April makes any mining impossible. Miners rush in and dig as much as they can at low tide, run away to sort the gems, and return to pump the pits as the tide goes down. This deposit is caused by metasomatic (by hydrothermal fluids) metamorphism of sandstones, caused by the intrusion of lamprophyre dykes (rather strange volcanic rocks related to kimberlite) into the bedrock.
Some further finds were made in Russia in the early noughties, in a setting described as either a slickenside in a fault (areas where slippage between rocks leave scratches) or a metamorphic contact between two kinds of rock. Though the amounts are small, the quality is high, and some of the gorgeous Russian specimens have returned to the market.
