Last week, 47 Milton Hershey School seniors visited Memorial Hall in their caps and gowns. These seniors who started their MHS journey in Memorial Hall walked the halls to provide inspiration to elementary students. It was also a chance for seniors to celebrate the memories they’ve made and show some of our youngest students they can conquer anything if they work hard.

Graduates from the Class of 2017 are busy preparing for the next step in their journey, and the support they have from staff, friends, and family members remains strong. Eli’s grandmother recently shared her perspective on the support system at MHS.

"It's never too late to be the kind of person you want to be." Alondra Isidro gave an uplifting Farewell Address during our Commencement ceremony last weekend. She not only inspired her fellow graduates, but she motivated her younger brothers and sisters to be the best version of themselves. Watch her speech!

Where are the 194 members of Milton Hershey School's Class of 2017 going? They are attending college, going to technical schools, entering the world of work and the military.

Milton Hershey School “lifers” hold a significant place in school history. For twins Justin and Austin, they enrolled in kindergarten and will be graduating on Sunday! The “lifer” designation is given to students who were enrolled at MHS from either pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, or first grade all the way through twelfth grade.

Commencement is less than a month away, and in the Class of 2017, 9 seniors are preparing to graduate from the place they have called home since they enrolled in kindergarten or first grade. Amanda and Grace, pictured here, are known as “lifers.” We’re excited to see what they achieve after graduation!

When Jesper enrolled at Milton Hershey School in seventh grade, he thought he would only stay for about three weeks. Now a senior preparing to graduate, Jesper is grateful for the structure he received at MHS and the well-rounded individual he has become. Jesper will be attending Harvard in the fall, and hopes to make an impact just like the impact the Hersheys have made on his life.
