Fanart for the upcoming anniversary of the webcomic Looking Glasses by @ferronickel. This wonderfully detailed Deltarune Fancomic is set a few years after the events of the game. With endearing characters and a truly intriguing plot, this story serves as a great read!

#i love just doing full on “cover art”. Ferronickel's comic has a lot which i love-#-so i figured i wanted to make something with multiple characters!#the titans have been pretty lowkey in the fandom so I love what ferronickel has done with them in the story.#I decided to choose a few easier(?) outfits for these guys.#Lancer's cat outfit is so out of pocket. it fits him so well. and Susie's pretty minimalist so i just went with the white t-shirt #I was iffy if I wanted to draw Ralsei black or white (bc i like the ch1 sprite a bit more) but his white form looks really good when drawn #So i went white and chose to draw his outfit in the Titan dream sequence. which was epic as heck!!!#i love drawing toothed creatures so the titan was very relaxing :)#congrats on the 1 year anniversary Ferronickel! the idea of a capsule wardrobe is so fucking bonkers to me cuz they're like

"you should only have 30-60 items"

and you're like wow that sounds tough

amd then you find out that that's PER SEASON and also doesn't include underwear and socks and pajamas and whatnot

and suddenly you're just like??? that's just a normal fucking amount of clothes???

they make it sound like it's some Revolutionary Minimalist Idea but it's just how normal people dress i think

"every item should be versatile and work in more than one outfit!" is that not how most people shop? like, we don't have money for one-outfit-wonders; that shirt better look good with at least two pairs of pants that we own or it's not worth it

#eliot posts #it's almost challenging in the winter i guess #cuz then each outfit has like 2-3 shirts 1-2 pants boots coat gloves hat etc #but in the summer? shirt shorts shoes and maybe a sunhat and/or accessory. maybe a jacket or cardigan for going to air conditioned places #zero challenge at all to pare that down #but yeah like i didn't even plan my wardrobe very Intentionally #and i definitely don't have that sleek minimalist aesthetic most capsule wardrobe ppl promote #and yet i hardly ever feel short on clothes #(unless i have gone A Very Long Time without doing laundry and am LITERALLY running out)#and i've gotten many compliments on ny sense of style #like i think i could stand to add a few more items to my wardrobe #specifically varying the cuts. bc i already have a nice variety in colours #...i almost wonder if the lack of colour makes it MORE difficult to keep a reasonable number of clothes.#it's hard to make outfits look UNIQUE if it's all fuckin beige
