Timothy - The Long Kiss Goodnight (1996)
Tumblr media
Timothy is machine-gunned in the chest by Charlene "Charly" Baltimore as he tries to kill her from his helicopter, causing him to tumble out and fall screaming onto the top of the truck carrying his bomb. Charly and her daughter Caitlin then escape with Mitch Henessey in his car seconds before the bomb detonates, leaving the mortally wounded Timothy to perish in the ensuing explosion.

Remember that quote in the movie, The Long Kiss Goodnight where the bad guy (Perkins) and Samuel Jackson (Mitch) are having a conversation that goes:
Mitch Henessey: "You're telling me that you're gonna fake some terrorist thing, just to scare some money out of Congress?"
Leland Perkins: "Well, unfortunately, Mr. Hennessey, I have no idea how to fake killing 4,000 people - so we're just gonna have to do it for real.".....
Just always seem to think of that quote the second week of September. For some strange reason...

What? You were expecting something political? Something that deals with race? Biphobia? Transphobia? The problems in the lesfic universe?
Well, not today. You have me until Wednesday so anything is possible. I’m telling you right now to be prepared, but I digress. Getting back to the subject at hand…well sort of.  I’ve recently found out that the remaining books in the Cops and Docs Series will indeed be available on Audible within the year.
Takes a second to do a butch twirl. Look away. LOOK AWAY!
I’m back now. With that being said, I’ve been told throughout my professional writing career that I use too much coarse language. Too many fucks, shits, goddamns and probably bitches. In Blurred Lines, Kelli McCabe and her friends drop F bombs about 122 times in 100,000 words. In Crossing Lines, LOL, there are about two or three more fucks and various forms of creative swearing. I don’t know about Between the Lines or my new one coming out November 7th, Drawing the Line, but I’m sure somebody somewhere can give you a count.
With all that in mind, I bring forth my love and admiration for Samuel L. Jackson. I am enamored with the man and his ability to convey a range of emotions with a gruff voice and the word fuck or motherfucker. Ooooh yeah, I said it. Rather I wrote it. In fact, I’d be ecstatic to have him do all the swearing.
Hear me out.
Whatever narrator Ylva hires will be golden, I’m sure, for the naughty bits and other aspects of the romance. But SLJ would go to town! The listener would be able to FEEL each fuck. Such emotion it would bring! I went back and forth on whether I’d want him to go falsetto to sound more like a woman, but then I thought. Fuck no! He needed to be in pure form.
I have to share a secret with you about this though. I briefly considered Ice-T with his smooth monotone, deadpan like approach but he could never have the passion that SLJ does. Nor have I ever obsessed over him like I do SLJ. In fact, my obsession carries over to my characters, especially my new protagonist, Detective Rebecca Wells in Drawing the Line. You’ll see what I mean.
I’ve thought this all out. I even have in my head the versions of SMJ that should be used for each book. For Blurred Lines and Crossing Lines. He’d be the badass in training, Mitch Henessey, from the movie, The Long Kiss Goodnight.
In Between the Lines (Cops and Docs Book #3), he’d be Jules Winnfield from Pulp Fiction.
For my new one, Drawing the Line, I want him smooth and cool like the other side of the pillow. So, Nick Fury from The Avengers and a shit ton of other Marvel movies.
I’d like to thank all of you for being being a part of my obsession or rather tolerating it. Just to let you know I’ve written this pre-coffee. I apologize for nothing.
Also, I just started a eBook giveaway for Drawing the Line. Enter to win below. I’ll announce three lucky winners on November 6th. a Rafflecopter giveaway
I’m going to go have my coffee now. But, SLJ if you’re reading? You can DM me on Twitter. I follow you.
KD’s work is available on Amazon or at Ylva.  Her next book in the Cops and Docs Series, Drawing the Line will be released November 7th and is available for pre-order at the Ylva Shop. For more information on KD visit her website

I will see to it that you spend the next ten years in prison getting ass fucked, and if the case is thrown out because my arrest was too violent then I will personally hire a man to ass fuck you for the next ten years. So if you're an ass fucking fan you go ahead and mouth off, meanwhile, you are under arrest for the crime of prostitution.
