It was the most foul, most vile, most wretched and disgusting place that Hyllyna Gohdbrandr Geimbraenawyn, first of her name, had ever set foot in in her entire thirty-one years of life. She had half a mind to march back to Vesper Bay, grab Nedrick Ironheart by the collar, drag him to this forsaken cesspool, and ask him why he thought it was a good suggestion for them to come here when he had to have known the effects this place would have on her BEAUTIFUL shiny pumps. Perhaps a swim in the goldbile would have him think more clearly next time, and suggest to them a place with drier, less grotesque ground.

Hellina could smell the trouble before they'd gotten far in, the stench sulfurous, like rotten eggs with a underlying bouquet of death. When she saw the room before her she almost thought to turn around, however a certain nether nix had other plans. 

By the time C'ramel had showered the giant amphibian with enough arrows, and Hellina had wrestled free of it's sticky blue tongue, it was too late. The heel on her left shoe had melted. MELTED. She was so devastated she couldn't even cry. No there was no time for tears in this nasty place. 

"Are you ok Hellie?" C'ramel asked in worry, but the Roegadyn gave no reply, the look of disdain on her face was all the answer that was needed.

It was time for vengeance.

Each step Hellina and C'ramel took the ground squelched and bubbled underfoot, the walls and floors quavered as they spewed gaseous puffs of the repugnant golden fumes. There was no way the air was safe to breathe, but as the giant woman stalked onward, her stalwart Miqo'te companion followed without another question.

The rest of the creatures in this sty were equally as revolting. 

A Giant Ochu that sprinkled them in a golden dusting of dreck.

Morbol fruits, and morbol seedlings, and festering goldvines. 

Putrid landtraps.

Stinging Jellyfish.

Itchy mites and mitelings. 

Poisoned Peasants.

The CYCLOPS may very well have been the LEAST offensive thing in the whole of this misbegotten place. All it did was swing it's little club. As if it ever had a chance against the two. If Hellina wasn't still fuming about her shoe, she might have smiled and called it cute. At least it didn't shower them with more of that fetid golden gas. She made sure it met a swift painless end. 

Hellina thought for sure their turmoil had to be coming to an end soon, but she couldn't have been more wrong. The deeper they went, the more rank the smell grew. Wave after wave of the dreadful seedkin came upon them with their gaping drooling maws until finally they we standing in the epicenter.

There she was, the source of their misery, the Miser's Mistress.

This morbol was twice maybe thrice the size of most of the fully grown monstrosities, and ten times as unpleasant. She was a ghastly green, her vines tipped with a dangerous red. The ooze dripping from her maw seemed particularly oozy.

Hellina crinkled her nose further, if even possible, but wasted no time in raising her axe, ready to put an end to their nightmare of an adventure. "Mellie, with me!" She shouted in a fierce battle cry.

At first it seemed that the fight would go as any of the others. The beast was no match for the pairs practiced syncopation. But as the fight grew more dire so did the beasts desperation, and it began to do things that Hellina could not have seen coming. She dodged one breath right on time, only to be ensnared in a rain of hooked burrs.

The sting was excruciating, the little stingers poking through her nice tights. Hellina looked away for just a second. That moment of distraction was all the beast needed. The beast heaved another breath, one more nasty than the last. Before she could even think to move the noisome cloud of miasma roiled from it's mouth thick and heavy and revolting.
