I love glitches like this. My favorite that I miss was the one where is you dismounted your mount while strafing your model would be much bigger. My friend had a catboy almost as tall as a femroe and all my femroe were like a head taller.

I feel that if I don’t repost this somewhere every year at some point, I’m living my life incorrectly.

Practice your Eorzean!

Saw this post and thought hey! Now that's a great idea! So I did it. On the left is the in game font, and on the right is what I'm calling "Simplified Eorzean", where I took the same theory as when you're teaching a kid how to write. My goal was to simplify the shapes and strokes as much as possible, while still making it the same letter. This way it (should) be easier to practice making it in your own handwriting! Under the cut I've placed a stroke/letter guide, and also a blank sheet(With some optional prompts) for practice. Happy writing!

Characters who are so compassionate that it borders on self-sacrifice. Characters who are so broken by the cruelty of the world that they make it their mission to save as many people as they can. Characters who don't know how to and don't want to be selfish. Characters who are collapsing on themselves but still devote themselves to others' wellbeing. Characters who hate themselves but have an uncanny ability to see past others' scars and mistakes.

Just... characters who are so hellbent on being kind to others that they don't notice their own self-destruction.

Is your OC at all romantic themselves? Or is romance something they expect others to perform for their benefit?

Humble would definitely try to be romantic for the right person. He is a bit hazy on the specifics of what this requires, but he has been trying to read romance books to provide some guidance. Thus far he has gleaned that flowers and poetry feature quite heavily, at least initially. Later on there seems to be an increased focus on gifting expensive jewellery and, occasionally, silk undergarments (this has caused him some anxiety around where and how he would purchase such things).

This is all quite alien to Humble, as Hellsguard tend to demonstrate their worth as a potential mate by slaying an impressive beast and bringing back its head or tusks as a trophy. He is not entirely sure that presenting the object of his affections with, for example, a severed behemoth head would have quite the same effect in Eorzea, even if he did decorate it prettily with flowers.

Humble is, however, very used to the idea of showing his value through acts of service - and has a pronounced sense of duty towards others - so it would feel very natural to him to undertake tasks and bring gifts for someone he loved. It would probably not even occur to him that they might also want to make romantic gestures of their own...
