We are all losing our minds.

Well. All those updates and binge blogs I said I was going to write - never happened. 2020 has been a rough year. My grandma in Viet Nam died and I boarded a plane over 6 times in January alone. I remember thinking, “I don’t want to get a on a plane for the rest of the year.” Gawd, what have I done. 

I’ve moved back to California and in addition to not being able to see my east coast friends anymore, I don’t get to see my west coast friends either. I know this isn’t about me, but I just wanted to complain. I’m really sad. 

I was doing mostly okay since the shelter in place started in mid March, but now it’s really getting to me. I’ve also recently hurt my back (yay!) so I can’t run, and that was the thing that helped the most with my anxiety. I live alone, so I am physically completely alone all day errday except when I run errands and get to make eye contact with the cashier. 

Shit’s starting to get to me. 

Roomie and I were FaceTiming this afternoon and she made a request for me to start up the ol’ blog again. Seems like a good time to do it. Practicing gratitude will likely be helpful in a time like this, and I honestly feel like I’m getting worse everyday. Sooooooo here gooooooes
