The MSM-09 Zogojuaju
While planning the invasion of Earth, strategists in the Principality of Zeon knew that gaining control of the planet's vast oceans would be key to a successful occupation. To this end, Zimmad, Zeonic, and MIP were tasked with with the development of mobile suits for use in aquatic environments.
While Zimmad and MIP are generally credited with the most successful designs, Zeonic also played a part in the development of such machines.
With all three companies contributing to the design, and with Hoshioka serving as its manufacturing center, the result would come to be a symbol of unity and collaboration for Zeon's people, as well as the ultimate aquatic machine.

Taking cues from Zeonic's Zaku Marine, MIP's Z'Gok, and Zimmad's Gogg, the MSM-09 Zogojuaju is remarkable machine, capable of unparalleled maneuverability thanks to its sleek aquadynamic design, the machine was favored by pilots whose styles incorporated speed and unpredictability.
The machine was armed with seven torpedo tubes, hidden by a stylized "mouth", as well as four additional tubes in each leg. For close range fighting, the machine featured six extendable "heat tentacles" each equipped with a deployable beam spraygun.

The machine was brutally effective during Zeon's campaigns in the Atlantic ocean and Gulf of Mexico, with Zeon ace Mauve Palomo making excellent use of the machine before his defeat at the hands of the Federation's Carrier Group 7. It's widely speculated that his defeat resulted solely from his decision to sortie in the inferior MSM-010 Zock.
The machine developed such a reputation that even the legendary Char Aznable elected to sortie in one over a fully-customized cutting-edge MS-14 Gelgoog.

Despite the machine's runaway success and reputation, it was unable to save Hoshioka from filing for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy in February of 0080, where it was eventually acquired by Anaheim Electronics, where the machine would be fully discontinued by March. Despite their discontinuation, so tenacious was this machine that surviving units could be spotted in use during various conflicts following the end of the One Year War, including by;
Zeon remnants in The Delaz conflict, the First, Second, and Third Neo-Zeon wars from UC 0083-0096
The Anti-Earth Federation Organization Mafty circa. UC 105
Several factions during the Jupiter War from UC 133-136
The League Militaire during the Zanscare Invasion in UC 153
Metatron during its revolutionary movement against the Earth Federation in UC 203.
Various Settlement Nations in their campaign against the Illuminati in UC 223.
The Outer Space Alliance during their war with Earth in UC 1160.
The Zogojuaju was originally designed by Hideki Owada for the 2005 gag manga Mobile Suit Gundam-san. Have a wonderful April Fools`! And thanks for the suggestion. You know who you are.

There were really just three main parts to all her operations. The second part; the hook and the diversion. | Task 010: The Interview
1 / 2 / 3
Once again, put on display. Expected to perform a show. Because it was all this was to them; entertainment. River squinted against the bright lights. Was Perry sitting at the Square, watching her right now? He was. He had to be. The alternative was far too harrowing to contemplate, though contemplated it she had.
She sat down as the applause petered out. Calix beamed at her.
"Ms Mallory--River, welcome. You look exquisite! I have no doubt that this brand of rustic chic will be everyone's fashion inspiration around here for a while, thanks to you."
Of course, it wasn't really her he was complimenting. It was the dozen layers of clown makeup and the tree dress to match.
"But speaking of around here, you have to tell us. How has the city treated you?"
"Oh, you know," she chuckled. Like a fraud. "It's definitely been fun exploring the tower. For one, you have really good coffee here. I mean out-of-this-world good. For two, you have an excellent pool. To be fair, I don't think I was actually allowed in there, but you guys won't tell anyone, right?"
The audience laughed, way too self-satisfied about being brought in on the joke, way too into themselves. It didn't matter. River knew how to play dumb innocence extremely well. She giggled when Calix shot her a conspiratorial wink. This wasn't so difficult, after all.
"And did you do all this exploring on your own or did you make new friends? Will we perhaps be seeing you working together with friends later in the arena?"
In the spirit of coming off personable, there was probably no harm to answer this one truthfully. Or mostly truthfully. "Yes! You all probably know that I know Fitz from home, but I've definitely made new friends, too. The other tributes are great," because she hadn't interacted with the careers save for Smith and Mason "--we've learnt plenty from each other," one way or another "--and you will definitely see me working with some of them."
"That's always heartening to hear. We know, though, that training is not without its challenges, even with the help of friends. Did you come across any difficulty at all?"
"Absolutely." River admitted. "I mean, I'm from Seven. The skills of our people revolve around climbing trees and swinging axes, and look at me, I'm not strong enough to even lift an axe." The crowd bellowed with laughter once again. "So, yeah, I had quite a bit of catching up to do."
Calix nodded, looking a little solemn for a moment, as if he understood how difficult it must have been for her. She had no doubt in her mind that he didn't.
"Well, if axes isn't your thing, you must have other strengths. Care to give us a few hints, at least?"
The nature of her strengths was that they needed to remain hidden in order to work. She clearly couldn't say this, so what should she say? "Oh, no, I can't spoil it!" River giggled. "Maybe I have a few tricks up my sleeves. You'll see. Honestly, though, what I know for sure is just that I'm going to do my best. I want to go home--and I'll do everything I can to do so."
"We love to hear that! We'll definitely be looking out for these tricks. And who will you be going home to?"
Her time was almost up. It had probably been Calix's intention all along to wrap on this note. Her voice faltered a little when she spoke this time, but that should work in her favour. She certainly hoped it did. "My cousin, Perry. It's just the two of us, he practically raised me. He-- he suffered an injury recently. So, yeah, I have to go home, Calix. I have to."
Calix pressed a hand to his heart while the audience cooed with sympathy. River could've gagged at the supposed display of emotion. Did they not realise that Perry's beating had ultimately also been for their entertainment? Did they not realise that she would've been happier never having to leave home?
Another round of applause escorted her off stage. Maybe the same noise would carry her off to her death, too.

Detailed guide: Oil and gas: Inspection Strategy and Enforcement Activity has been published on Energy Solutions News
New Post has been published on https://www.energybrokers.co.uk/news/beis/detailed-guide-oil-and-gas-inspection-strategy-and-enforcement-activity-2
Detailed guide: Oil and gas: Inspection Strategy and Enforcement Activity
Overview
The Offshore Safety Directive Regulator (OSDR), a collaboration between OPRED and the HSE, produces yearly intervention plans detailing planned inspections to be undertaken of oil and gas installations. The OPRED contingent of the ODR intervention plan is based on the OPRED Inspection Strategy.
The Offshore Environmental Inspectorate Team, Enforcement Policy applies to all offshore oil and gas installations operating in connection with the exploration, development or production of petroleum that come within the scope of the relevant environmental legislation. This includes production platforms, mobile drilling units, floating production and storage offtake vessels, pipelines, etc.
Inspection Strategy
As part of its regulatory function OPRED undertakes a programme of planned inspections, both at operators and owners’ onshore offices and of offshore oil & gas installations, to ensure compliance with relevant Regulations and permit conditions. It is also to gain assurances that operations are undertaken with due consideration of environmental aspects and impacts and with effective controls to minimise the likelihood of releases to the environment.
OPRED Inspection Strategy (PDF, 296KB, 3 pages)
Enforcement Policy
Inspectors enforce the requirements on operators set out in statutory instruments (regulations) relevant to the protection of the offshore environment which include:
The regulation, using Permits with conditions, of the activities of discharge and use of offshore chemicals, the discharge of oil, and emissions from qualifying offshore combustion installations;
The prohibition on the release of offshore chemicals and oil; and
The requirement for Licensed Operators to have an oil pollution emergency plan
The enforcement methods available to Inspectors are detailed in the relevant legislation and include: a warning letter, the serving of an Enforcement, Improvement or Prohibition Notice, revocation of a Permit and Prosecution. This Policy sets out the general principles that Inspectors shall follow in relation to enforcement including prosecution.
The Offshore Environmental Civil Sanctions Regulations 2018
The Offshore Environmental Civil Sanctions Regulations 2018 (the 2018 Regulations) enable OPRED to impose civil sanctions on offshore oil and gas companies who are found to be in breach of some existing environmental regulations. The 2018 Regulations entered into force on 01 October 2018 and OPRED will consider the imposition of a civil penalty for relevant offences committed on or after 01 November 2018.
The introduction of the 2018 Regulations provides OPRED with a more flexible, proportionate and timely enforcement response in respect of breaches that amount to criminal offences and would otherwise be dealt with by prosecution. The 2018 Regulations also allow OPRED to accept undertakings from offshore operators to take action for the benefit of any person affected by the offence (including payment of a sum of money) and for this to be taken into account in setting the variable monetary penalty for the most serious breaches.
The 2018 Regulations will help to ensure that OPRED has the ability to provide sufficient deterrent against non-compliance and tackle the behaviour of those who continue to perform poorly or ignore their environmental responsibilities.
The following guidance document is designed to set out how OPRED will apply the civil sanctions regime under the 2018 Regulations; how it makes decisions, and the processes followed by it:
The Offshore Environmental Civil Sanctions Regulations 2018 - Guidance Document (PDF, 337KB, 24 pages)
OPRED (BEIS)has a statutory obligation under the Environment and Safety Information Act 1988 to maintain a public register of certain Notices.
The Public Registers of Enforcement Activity are a new addition to OPRED(BEIS)’s Oil and Gas Website and have been introduced to bring this area in line with our policy on publication of data. The registers outline the formal Enforcement Activity undertaken by OPRED(BEIS) in respect of offshore oil and gas operations on the United Kingdom Continental Shelf (UKCS).
Under the Code of Practice on Access to Government Information, OPRED(BEIS) is committed to make available, on request, information about its actions and decisions, which includes information on formal Enforcement Activity.
The information provided within the registers will be subject to release and publication in accordance with the Freedom of Information (FOI) act 2000 and the Environmental Information Regulations 2004 (EIR).
OPRED(BEIS) Enforcement Activity falls into four main categories; Letters, Enforcement/Improvement and Prohibition Notices, Permit Revocation, and Prosecution. The OPRED(BEIS) Public Register of Enforcement Improvement and Prohibition Notices and the OPRED(BEIS) Public Register of Convictions are available by clicking on the relevant link(s).
OPRED(BEIS)Public Registers of Enforcement Activity and Prohibition Notices
The OPRED(BEIS) Offshore Environmental Inspectorate enforces offshore oil and gas environmental regulations and permit conditions. On occasion OPRED(BEIS) may require offshore permit holders and/or licensed operators to make improvements by issuing them with a Notice; either an Enforcement Notice or Improvement Notice which allows time for the recipient to comply with prescribed conditions or a Prohibition Notice which prohibits an activity from occurring until remedial action has been taken.
An Enforcement Notice or an Improvement Notice may be issued where the Secretary of State is of the opinion that:
any condition of a permit has been contravened, is being contravened or is likely to be contravened; or
a release or a discharge without a permit has occurred , is occurring or is likely to occur
Each Enforcement Notice and Improvement Notice will identify the steps to be taken to remedy or prevent the contravention/release or discharge and will specify the period within which those steps must be taken.
A Prohibition Notice may be issued where the Secretary of State is of the opinion that the operation of an offshore installation involves an imminent risk of serious pollution. Each Prohibition Notice will specify the steps to be taken to remove the risk involved in the operation of the offshore installation before operations are allowed to be undertaken again.
The issue of an Enforcement Notice and/or a Prohibition Notice does not prevent other Enforcement Activity, such as Prosecution, being progressed if this is deemed appropriate.
The OPRED(BEIS) Public Register of Enforcement, Improvement and Prohibition Notices includes all notices issued in the last five years. Notices that are older than five years old are available on request. To account for the appeals process and quality assurance there is a 5 week period following the date of issue of a Notice prior to publication of the Notice details on this register. Where OPRED(BEIS) are notified of an appeal outside this time period, details of the Notice will be removed from the register. Notices that have been appealed will not appear on the register until after the appeal has been disposed.

##OPRED(BEIS) Register of Convictions This is a register of prosecution cases resulting in successful conviction which have been brought by OPRED(BEIS) against offshore permit holders and/or licensed operators in respect of the relevant environmental legislation administered. In general, Prosecutions are pursued where OPRED(BEIS) consider: * the gravity of the alleged offence, taken together with the seriousness of any actual or potential pollution justifies this approach; or * the general record and approach of the alleged offender warrants it; or * there has been a reckless disregard of requirements enforced by the legislation. The register includes Prosecutions brought by OPRED(BEIS) in the last five years. Details of ongoing Prosecution cases and any convictions subject to appeal will not be published. To account for the appeals process there is a delay of 9 weeks following conviction before a case is added to the register. Costa Cruises and AISM: Tours Now Also Accessible to Guests with Disabilities for the First Time
Costa Cruises, AISM (Italian Multiple Sclerosis Association) and the Costa Crociere Foundation present the results of a joint project aimed at making vacations increasingly accessible to people with impaired mobility. For the first time in the world in the cruise sector, guests with disabilities will be able to participate in group shore excursions, at no extra cost, with accessibility verified by AISM, in accordance with the most advanced international good practices.
The new tours, called "Adagio Tours", will be available for booking from January 1, 2019 for Mediterranean cruises on the flagship Costa Diadema. At every port of call, at least one group excursion will be offered that is accessible to everyone, including guests with impaired mobility, and this is available at no extra cost. The list of tours currently includes visits to the cities of Genoa, Marseilles, Barcelona, Palermo, Rome, Palma de Mallorca and Cagliari. "Adagio Tours" have been developed considering the needs of all our guests who want to enjoy their chosen destinations at a slower pace, with more time to discover or rediscover them. They are therefore particularly suited to parents with strollers, elderly guests or people with permanent or temporary mobility impairments.
The programmes for these excursions have been devised, tested and checked with the contribution of 15 women with multiple sclerosis, trained and selected by AISM thanks to the "WAT! Women Accessibility Tourism” program funded by the Costa Crociere Foundation. These women - some with no permanent job, others who are students, recent graduates or part-time workers, all passionate about travel and tourism - attended a specific 160-hour training course on land and on board Costa ships, benefiting from the experience of AISM and a team of excursion experts from Costa Cruises. Following this training, starting with a few excursions already included in the Costa offer, they contributed to planning the tours, testing them first hand and taking into consideration every detail relating to accessibility, route mapping, tourism experiences, making the most of local attractions. The skills gained will also help the 15 women find employment in the field of sustainable tourism.
"AISM has been about people, rights and research for 50 years. Our aim of achieving a world free of multiple sclerosis also means ensuring full inclusion and the opportunity for everyone to live their life beyond multiple sclerosis. This is why the priorities in our Agenda for 2020 include access to stable employment and the right to inclusion, which also means accessible tourism. AISM is working to achieve change with a real impact on people's lives. The social value of our actions, as an Association, lies in achieving changes that benefit everyone with a mobility impairment and everyone in the community with similar problems. Change has to be contagious and applied to civil society as a whole",explains Mario Alberto Battaglia, President of AISM.
“With the cooperation of AISM and the contribution of our Foundation, we have tackled the subject of accessible tourism in a responsible way, with the aim of making significant changes to people's lives. This project, which is a real innovation in the world of cruises, is an important step forward towards including people with disabilities and ensuring that there are no more differences and that everyone can share the same experiences when on vacation. I hope our initiative can be extended to the whole sector in future. We certainly undertake to extend it to the other ships in our fleet.” - says Neil Palomba, President of Costa Cruises.
The Adagio Tours supplement the other services Costa already offers guests with disabilities on board its fleet. All company ships include appropriately fitted cabins with all the comforts required and free of any architectural barriers. Guests who need special assistance can also benefit from free travel for an accompanying person staying in the cabin with them. Priority boarding and landing services and reserved seats at the theatre, on the pool decks and in the buffet restaurants are also guaranteed.
AISM is the only organization in Italy dedicated to all aspects of multiple sclerosis. It takes an overall approach to its work that encompasses the rights of people with MS, social services and healthcareand the promotion, guidance and funding of scientific research. It has been operating since 1968. It is a not-for-profit social promotion association with local branches and volunteering activities across Italy. For the last 50 years, it has been the most authoritative and closest point of reference for all MS sufferers, their families, health care staff and social workers, operating across the country thanks to a network structure with 98 provincial sections, regional coordination offices, more than 60 operating groups and over 13,000 volunteers. Since 1998, AISM has been working with FISM, the Italian Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, which promotes and supports innovative basic and applied research aimed at improving quality of life and treatments and, in the long term, identifying a definite cure for multiple sclerosis. FISM is the third biggest private funding organization for research into MS in the world, second only to the US and Canadian associations, and on an equal footing with the British one.
Costa Cruises is an Italian company that is part of Carnival Corporation & plc, the largest cruise group in the world. For 70 years the ships of the Costa fleet have been travelling the world's seas offering hospitality and authentic Italian style holidays, distinguished by exquisite food, fine wines, unique shopping experiences, and a comprehensive selection of famous Italian brands. Currently the Costa fleet has 14 ships in service, all flying the Italian flag. Two new latest generation vessels are expected in 2019 and 2021. They will be fuelled by liquefied natural gas (LNG), the world's "cleanest fossil fuel", and a real environmental innovation. Costa represents Italian excellence, and every day surpasses the expectations of its guests with a unique and unforgettable holiday experience. It does this thanks to the approximately 19,000 employees around the world who work to provide the best of Italy on board, with 140 different routes, 250 destinations and 60 ports of embarkation.
Costa Crociere Foundation is an independent, not-for-profit organization founded in 2014 to defeat the most urgent social and environmental problems that impact on the communities of the countries where Costa Cruises operates. The Foundation operates through social projects for women, young people and the weakest members of society, and through an environmental program for the protection of the sea. Over 17,000 people have benefited from the 24 projects currently being run.
