The story of the Murder in Mahim is based on the book written by Jerry Pinto. In the series, a gay sex worker is murdered in the washroom at Mahim Railway Station. Within the series, Vijay Raj portrays Shivajirao Jende, as a police officer, whereas Ashutosh Rana plays the role of Peter, a journalist.  The Murder in Mahim focuses on the journey of two estranged friends, Peter and Jende, who are eventually reunited. This series will have twist and turns, the acting will be amazing with a stellar cast, the cinematography will be wonderful and the story will be interesting. The deceased's phone call attracts the attention of Peter's son, progressive activist Sunil (Rohan Verma). Sunil comes under suspicion, bringing Peter and Jende face to face. The intriguing murder mystery narrative, enigma, twists and turns of the show will captivate you until the final episode. Jende is joined in the inquiry by Firdaus Rabbani (portrayed by Shivani Raghuvanshi), who has a significant part. Ok, more book reviews. Accidental LGBT week in books, hehe.

Murder in Mahim by Jerry Pinto. I may be a little bit biased here because I've been a fan of Pinto for a while, but yeah, I really liked this book. It's more social commentary than murder mystery, is raw and uncomfortable and yes, read. I had a problem at the end with wrong pronouns though, that like switched to the right one when reference to dead name stopped, but like I don't think it came from malice or ignorance now that I think about it. It may have been from the character's confusion and then acceptance (As someone whose ex later identified as trans, pronoun slip-ups sometimes do happen in the beginning because it's hard to get used to; to clarify, not hard to ACCEPT, just talking about habit, so I get it). Anyway, this book is good.

What if it's us by Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera. EEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! Ok, truth, there's not really much of a plot to speak of but the characters are so sweet and lovable and individual and oh, my heart.
