Great time to be a fan of the NBA

It's that time of year when the NBA Draft and the start of Free Agency. The Draft is on a couple days away and the speculation rises as to who get drafted in what position. How many teams will trade pics? Who's right and who's wrong in terms of their projections? Will teams draft need or will they draft best available? I know my team (76ers) have quite a few needs, especially at the Center position. The issue here is that they need to be 3 deep at that position, because Joel Embid is most likely going to get injured at some point. I'm not talking about someone who can score as many points as he does and performs the same way he does when on the floor, but someone who's solid at defense and can get rebounds and assists. I like Paul Reed however I'd rather see him playing the 4 (Power Forward) or 3 (Small Forward). I hope that one pick is used for that position. Will Bronny get drafted and which team is willing to do so? My guess would be the Lakers. In terms of Lebron, I think he might opt out of his current contract with the Lakers and sign a new contract before signing the ceremonial 1 day contract to retire with the Cavs. Regardless he's not leaving LA.

In terms of other free agents, there's been a lot of talk in my area from pundits about Paul George. I don't think Paul George is going to sign with the Sixers. In all honesty, the Sixers have never signed a top tier free agent, perhaps with the exception of James Harden. I count Harden as they were able to retain his services after trading for him. What transpired after between him and Darryl Morey happened that resulted in Harden's resentment towards Morey. It wouldn't surprise me if some type of guarantees were made between two. In terms of Harden I think that he'll probably stay with the Clippers. I think Tobias Harris could sign with the Pistons however I don't see him returning to the Sixers. Again, this is just my own opinion, with no sources to back it up. In terms of the other free agents, I wouldn't even guess right now however things should be interesting.

The Atlanta Falcons on Sunday won the right to select the No. 1 generally choose in the NBA draft on June 27. Resisting the chances, Atlanta entered the 2024 draft lottery with as it were a 3% chance to arrive the beat pick.

The Washington Wizards, the Houston Rockets and the San Antonio Goads adjusted out the beat four.
