Institute of Medicine- Tribhuvan University
The Institute of Medicine (IOM) is a reputed medical institution of Nepal. It was founded in 1972 as part of Tribhuvan University with the mission and responsibility to provide training in various fields of medicine in the country. Prior to MECEE, the Institute of Medicine, Kathmandu held a separate entrance examination for MD/MS admission in Nepal, but currently admission is dependent on the results of the common entrance exam.
