hey, quick psa - don't ship content creators. or vocally assume things about their relationships to each other. last night i had to time out two people in boat's chat for being weird about him and jay. and jay wasn't even there. like i totally get where they're coming from but those thoughts should be kept to yourself. imagine how you'd feel if someone did the same thing to you. i know i'd feel uncomfy. also im pretty sure jay has a girlfriend. which kinda makes it worse. it's also a bad idea to like. assume out loud people's sexualities, especially when they've specifically stated something contrary to what you think. which is being done when you ship two content creators of the same gender, both of which are stated to be straight. and even if you miraculously turn out to be correct, you do not know what is happening in one's personal life that may have caused them to refrain from saying so. like look. i know from personal experience it can be hard not to think certain things about people but PLEASE don't go around saying you ship them or anything. they may be on your screen but they are not fictional characters you can play around with willy-nilly. they can see what you say about them and be affected. worst case scenario you ruin a friendship by shipping them. i know no one wants that. so just... even if you do, because i can't police your thoughts, keep it to yourself. signed the moderator who already has enough nonsense to deal with
