#Nase asumi

I ended up today looking at some old fics of mine, and I came across the few Remixes into which I took part. Those were fun! I wonder if that thing still exists. (The idea of the remix challenge is to rewrite someone else's fic. Ofc, it's not just anybody's, but a fic from someone else who's signed up for it.)

And just because I like these old fics, I'm gonna self advertise my old stuff here a bit now. ^^

Firstly, The End of Silence (The All Paths Lead to God of Go Remix), a remix of Flonnebonne's The Silent Path. (I recommend reading that first, it's only a few hundred words anyway.) Tbh, this is a remix failure... as in that it's not the same story. It's a continuation to what Flonne wrote. But I really like it a lot, nevertheless. It's an Akari fic. 💜Word count: 2478.

And then, another one, Regret (The Dreams & Memories Remix), remix of Regret, a Portrayal by troisroyaumes/Tari Gwaemir. Here, I decided to make things difficult for myself and decided to remix a 100 word drabble. ^^;; Again, checking out the original first is recommended (and especially in this case it won't take much of your time XD) This fic has Hikaru and Akira in it, but it's not about them, really. The pov is (or is supposed to be anyway) that of an unconscious man in a hospital. >_> Like I said, making things easy for myself with this one. Word count: 1118.

And just so it wouldn't feel left out, the third one of my remixes... (eh, I'm not saying it were bad or anything such, I'm just not as fond of it as I'm of those other two fics): Onegaishimasu, she said (The Paths to the Future Remix), based on Nigiri, she said by lacygrey. Again, an Akari (and Nase) fic. Word count: 694.

The Rivalry

That year was different. That year Hikaru received more awards than Akira during the annual prize award ceremony. "Heh, finally," he said while nudging Akira's shoulder. Seeing Akira frown made Hikaru even more happy, "wow, it feels so great!" 

"Don't be proud just yet!" Akira commented, "next year our position will change again!" 

"Let's wait and see!" Challenged Hikaru, "I will get the major title before you!" 

"Just dream, Dreamer!" Akira replied fiercely. 

Seeing that sight made their friends shake their heads. Hikaru and Akira never get bored of quarrels and debates that both repeat every time they meet. Sometimes openly like elementary students fighting, sometimes long and fierce sarcasm, and sometimes a tense cold war in front of goban

"But Shindo wins when it comes to women. Toya hasn't seen any progress," said Nase. That year she came as a shodan with two others. 

"But I heard from my grandpa that Toya has an omiai," commented Ochi while fixing the position of his glasses. 

"Really!?" Waya could not believe that the rivalry between the two of them was very fierce even in that topic. He didn't know who made progress on this first. He thought that maybe both of them would compete about who would marry first?

Hikaru: The only crush I have is this crushing sadness.

Hikaru: Also Akira.

It’s a photograph of an insei trip to Tokyo tower (Isumi’s holding the camera). I went in a pretty wild direction with the colours, blame all the salor moon backgrounds I was referencing.

Little Talk (3)

Nase hugged Akari tightly. She still doesn't want to accept the fact. "I can still understand if Shindo is currently your boyfriend, but husband?? No! Don't! Why!?" 

"Ehehe, Asumi-san, Hikaru is such a good husband," Akari tried to defend her husband. 

"Who is good!? I'm sure he made you work hard day and night every chance, right??" Guess Nase. She wanted to be angry if Hikaru didn't give Akari much time to rest. 

"Ah, umm," Akari was confused about what to say. Her face became red, very red. 

It actually made Nase really want to smack Hikaru's head. "That idiot…," she growled, "I can't forgive him for being barbaric to you!" Nase could guess how Hikaru exploited Akari greedily. 

"Wha… rather than that, Asumi-san, how is your relationship with Iijima-san??" Akari tried to find a topic that could divert their conversation. Hmm? Why is the time paused?

Nase sighed. "We broke up," replied Nase then glumly, "I can't be like you, Akari-chan, I'm more selfish and stubborn." While Iijima was the same. Nase thought maybe their attraction to each other was no greater than their big difference. 

"So… sorry…" Akari said regretfully bringing up the topic. 

"It's okay, Akari-chan!" Nase said with a smile, "if only there was a man who was soft-hearted, shy, loving and loyal to his lover like you… I expect someone who is mature enough and not childish." 

ACHOO. For some reason Hikaru and Isumi took turns sneezing until Waya commented, "Is it too cold for you today?" However, the sun was shining quite brightly.
