Navina Heyne will play Christine in a production of Liebe Stirbt Nie (Love Never Dies) at the Theater Lüneburg during their 2024/2025 season.

She will be performing opposite her husband, Thomas Borchert, who will perform the role of the Phantom, reprising the role he previously played in Phantom of the Opera.

For months I've been intending to stream Borchert but kept putting it off, but now that he's playing the Phantom opposite his wife, Navina Heyne, in the current German production of Love Never Dies, it has become even more imperative. I haven't streamed this one before! There are some interesting choices in it, so come watch!

Conspiracy time. Thomas Borchert’s wife Navina Heyne just posted this video out of the blue (it seems). Thomas played The Phantom in Essen, so it could just be a coincidence or joke. BUT in Essen, the phrase “Angel of Music” was translated to “Engel der Muse” every German language production except one, they use the translation “Engel der Muse”. The one exception is Vienna, where they have their own translation that uses the phrase “Engel der Lieder”. Thomas Borchert has played several roles for VBW, the past producer of Phantom in Vienna. Their artistic director recently saw the World Tour of Phantom.  VIENNA REVIVAL TIME
