I haven’t tried any oils or creams, so I can’t really recommend any ^^; especially if it’s about their scent. But I’m happy to share what I’ve read and learned! Fenugreek is more for inducing lactating anyways 🤭 and apparently better as a supplement. Flaxseed oil is said to be good for growth ^^ coconut oil and other certain fatty oils are also suppose to have the same benefits though!

Although~ personally I enjoy a nice shower and simply massage/suck/fondle my breasts in the water 🫣 well~ okay, maybe not just in the shower 😜

Ter ere van het 150-jarig bestaan van PHIL Haarlem is de opdracht voor een nieuw werk verstrekt aan componist Kate Moore. Het stuk Canticles for Creatures is geschreven voor de bezetting van het Nederlands Blazers Ensemble (NBE), met toevoeging van een aantal traditionele instrumenten zoals ney, duduk en ud. Tijdens het openingsconcert van het jubileum op vrijdag 8 september 2023 voert het Nederlands Blazers Ensemble in de Grote Zaal van de PHIL deze wereldpremière uit. Canticles for Creatures Kate Moore heeft zich bij Canticles for Creatures laten inspireren door het Zonnelied van de heilige 13e-eeuwse Franciscus van Assisi. Een lofzang op de natuur, waarin hij de zon, de sterren en de vier elementen van de aarde bezingt en ten slotte de levensweg van de mens. Andere inspiratiebron is het boek ‘Muziek en mystiek’ van de soefie-wijsgeer en beroemd componist, zanger en vinaspeler Hazrat Inayat Khan. In dit boek gaat Khan diep in op de invloed van muziek en van trillingen op ons lichaam en onze geest met de adem als eerste levensbron. Dat is precies waar Kate Moore haar compositie laat beginnen. In haar eigen woorden “Ik leg een verband tussen de menselijke adem en de takken van een boom, die de longen vormen van onze aarde. Adem is leven en staat aan de basis van het ecosysteen.” Canticle for Creatures kent geen maten, zoals gebruikelijk is in muziekstukken. Het bestaat uit verschillende cycli die ieder bestaan uit een ademhaling, m.a.w. de adem is de maat. Kate Moore is inmiddels een bekende componist in Nederland. Recent heeft zij de Gieskes-Strijbis podiumprijs gewonnen vanwege haar eigenzinnigheid en unieke zoektocht naar de verbinding van natuur en cultuur. Zij is toonaangevend in de hedendaagse Nederlandse muziek, brengt een grote kwaliteit met zich mee en is in staat om in een afwijkende bezetting een prachtige kleur aan te brengen. NBE Het Nederlands Blazers Ensemble is al bijna 20 jaar een vaste bespeler van de PHIL. Het ensemble staat meerdere keren per jaar in het Haarlemse muziekhuis en is een vertrouwd onderdeel van het muziekfestival ‘De 48 uur van…’. Tijdens het openingsconcert brengen ze een kleurrijk programma met o.a. hoogtepunten uit de vele concerten die het gegeven heeft in de PHIL. Zoals gebruikelijk bij de programma’s van het Nederlands Blazers Ensemble is er engagement en avontuur. Met muziek uit verre windstreken van Zuid-Afrika tot het Midden-Oosten gespeeld door geweldige solisten: accordeonist Vasile Nedea, ney speler Sinan Arat, op duduk Ghaeth Almaghoot, op kanun Shaza Manla en ud-speler Osama Meleegi. 150 jaar PHIL In 2023 is het 150 jaar geleden dat het eerste concert werd gespeeld in de Grote Zaal van PHIL Haarlem. De week van 8-17 september staat met een feestelijke programmering in het teken van PHIL 150 jaar. Het concert van NBE is de start van de jubileum viering. Bekijk hier het jubileumprogramma. weaving in ends is my absolute fucking least favorite part of crochet so today i set aside this stack of squares for my blanket and made myself weave in all of them.

i think i've made like 50-something squares rn? and i need 121 so still a ways to go. but i know if i wait until the end to weave in i'll never do it so i'm trying to chunk it out. i wove in a few before this too
