Cassandra desde de pequena fora treinada para caçar e ser boa naquilo. Filha dos caçadores Ted e Victoria Maillot. Nunca moravam mais de meses em uma cidade, sempre pulando de uma para outra desde de que adotaram a sua filha Cassandra. A infância da garota foi permeada por diversos tipos de treinos de lutas corpo a corpo e manuseamento de qualquer tipo de arma, sendo excelente arqueira principalmente, mas ela nunca soubesse exatamente o porquê daquilo tudo e nunca questionava, afinal confiava cegamente nos seus pais.

O próximo destino de viagem da família Maillot era a cidade Massachussets, por chamado de ajuda de outros caçadores. John Wlliams era um velho amigo da família e anos atrás já trabalharam juntos. Se um pedisse ajuda do outro, ambos não iria negar e foi por isso que Ted aceitou o chamado sem pensar duas vezes. Os boatos que corriam pelos caçadores era que aquela cidade era um prato cheio de seres supernaturais e que precisava de pessoas que pudessem proteger os habitantes humanos inocentes dali.

Não demorou muito para Cassandra começar a se acostumar com a nova vida na nova cidade, afinal estava acostumava a se adaptar rapidamente desde de criança a ambientes novos. Por ter uma personalidade fácil em fazer amigos conheceu Peter Elordi e desenvolveu rapidamente uma paixão por o garoto. Tiveram uma relação que não durou muito tempo pois a menina sentia que Scott escondia alguma coisa dela e ela não conseguia confiar nele.

Cassandra sempre sentia que algo de muito estranho e fora do normal acontecia por ali e com as pessoas, e sempre quis descobrir o motivo. Foi quando Molly Maillot, sua tia, finalmente lhe revelou a verdade, lhe contara sobre a existência do mundo sobrenatural, da sua própria família ser caçadores e que a função deles eram dizima-los pois todos eram do mal. No começo ela se recusa a fazê-lo, não gostava nada da ideia de tirar a vida de alguém com as próprias mãos, mesmo sendo aparentemente “monstros”. Mas foi quando sua tia tentou matar seu namorado, é que a menina percebeu que talvez ela não tivesse tão boas intenções como falara para Cass. Ela conhecia Peter e mesmo sabendo agora que ele é um lobisomem, ela sabia que ele não machucaria ninguém inocente. O que a deixou na dúvida entre em qual caminho deveria escolher se apoiava sua família ou ficava ao lado dos seus amigos sobrenaturais.  

Para decepção do seu pai, a menina decidiu parar de caçar e aposentar sua besta para sempre.

Entrou Universidade Neveremore porquê teve muito tempo para aprender o que queria estudar, e também foi o estopim no meio desse tempo quando descobriu que tinha uma habilidade. Da noite para o dia, Cassandra ficou sabendo toda a verdade, que foi adotada e roubada da Tribo dos Três Olhos é uma raça composta por seres humanoides com três olhos. E foi neste dia, que resolveu recomeçar sua vida, trocando de sobrenome e lecionar em Nevermore.

                    𝐇𝐀𝐁𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐃𝐀𝐃𝐄:

RWBY 13 is out, it's worse than I thought it was.

Okay let’s check this out.

Weiss, these animals are not in any serious harm right now. Fucking escape before Jacques sees you-

... Where the fuck are we? Like, in the previous issues, we saw the animals in cages around the Schnee Manor and considering Weiss was depicted there before seeing the animals, you’d think she’d still be at the manor. And yet suddenly we’re at a shipyard.

All we needed was one small textbox saying ‘shipyard’.

Oh goodie. That dumb compliant about the beginning of Volume 7 is happening for real here, with Weiss attacking someone in a stupid position except that unlike before this is a populated Atlas place with officers right there to draw attention to her in the middle of the day unlike an empty Mantle street in the middle of the night.

Wow...there is so much wrong here.

First off, we’re expected to feel sorry for Willow now judging by the way she is drawn in the comic now...except that for the rest of the comic’s run, she’s been portrayed as manipulative, self destructive and unpleasant. Not to say you can’t feel sorry for a character whose been bad (I felt pity and sorrow for Adam when he died) but unlike Adam, the source of what Willow is being hurt about isn’t connecting to this moment. The only time we’ve ever heard her talk about not being loved was back when it looked like she was trying to manipulate Weiss and she HARDLY if at all talked about Jacques’ abuse. With Adam, his pain was constantly there and constantly at the core of what he was like and did.

So basically, Willow is that shitty Adam strawman people make up. Great.

Also, going back to Jacques and abuse- YOU HAVE A SON! You have a male member of the Schnee family being abused by not listening to Jacques. What is with this pity party for just the women? Especially since you went out of your way to point out Whitely’s abuse in Volume 7!

And god, does Willow sound abusive here. She sounds more like Raven than the actual Willow in the show and Raven was an intentionally abusive bitch, not someone we were meant to feel sorry for. And surprisingly, despite her demonstrating the family Semblance and what we’ll see next: she’s actually more pathetic and weak than the actual Willow. Because the actual Willow managed to look after her kids, get the info needed to put Jacques away and push Weiss to help her brother unlike this idiot who we KNOW will fail and do nothing.

All of this wrapped up in the fact that Weiss stopped from escaping to try and release some kind of sad animals that would get captured easily and she’s somehow halted by her lazy mother.

Okay so this battle should be over one the next page. This isn’t like Taiyang Vs. Yang or Qrow vs. Ruby, where a lack of power or speed could be more than made up with experience: Willow is a lazy trophy wife. She can’t possibly stand up to Weiss-

.... SO Willow can summon a Neveremore despite nothing about her implying she ever killed a Grimm...

Also there was a wall behind Weiss’ glyph that was gone now. ... Yes I know it’s petty: I’m too pissed to care.

Also, where the fuck did this ‘you were so noble’ shit come from? Are we missing an issue giving Willow’s backstory? Because right now, the drunk lady sitting in her mansion has done more to show nobility than this dumbass.

Why would the animals go towards them? The cages were shown to be perpendicular to the ship, they were rushing forward and would likely try to escape. Couldn’t they get distracted for a moment, Weiss summons a mist and gets people away to get the same effect?

Look, if Birdshit Ms. Mass Murder didn’t get my sympathy, why would this pathetic abusive bitch get it? Adam was shown to have been pushed down his past by a mentor who used him to get her way and had a consistent backstory that also matched up with a very human coping mechanism (trying to get control): All she’s done is be a rich bitch and demand sympathy.

Jacques is gonna be eating some delicious Fanaus burgers tonight.
