From Idea to Action: How I Launched My Coaching Site in One Day
From Idea to Action: How I Launched My Coaching Site in One Day
This morning, I wrote about the hidden order of success and how waiting was holding me back. I laid out my plan—set up my coaching site, list my services, and start taking bookings. At the time, it was a commitment. By the end of today, it became a reality. I launched DOVE Mindset Coaching. Even though I wasn’t feeling my best today (stomach issues had me home from work), I took that as an opportunity rather than an excuse. And now, my coaching business is live, functional, and ready for clients.
What I Accomplished Today
- Created my coaching website at coaching.thenextlevelnomad.com - Set up services and pricing - Enabled online booking so clients can schedule sessions - Linked my blog and coaching pages for a seamless experience - Updated my mobile site to include a dropdown for blog categories - Styled my About Me page to reflect my journey and brand - Set up social media links on my site for easy connection The only thing I haven’t finalized yet is my Zoom integration. But guess what? That’s not a hindrance. People can still book and pay, and I can manually send Zoom links for now. No roadblocks—just solutions.
What This Means
This wasn’t just about getting a site live. It was about proving to myself that I already had everything I needed. No more waiting. No more overthinking. Just action. This morning, I talked about my DOVE Mindset Framework, and today was a real-life example: - D: Desired State Discovery – I wanted a fully operational coaching business. - O: Ownership of Beliefs – I recognized the excuses I had about needing more time. - V: Vision Refinement – I focused on what mattered most instead of getting stuck in perfectionism. - E: Empowerment – I took action despite not feeling 100%. And now? It’s done.
The Lesson: Progress > Perfection
I could have let Zoom issues stop me. I could have told myself I’d wait until I had more energy. But instead, I pushed through and now have something tangible to show for it. So, if you’re reading this and you’ve been waiting to start something—whether it’s launching a business, creating content, or making a bold move—just start. Even if it’s not perfect, even if you don’t have all the answers. Start. Your next level isn’t waiting on the perfect conditions. It’s waiting on you. Want to book a session with me? Check out my newly launched coaching site here and let’s get to work on your mindset and success. Read the full article

The Digital Nomad's Balancing Act: How to Leverage Your 9-to-5 to Fuel Your 5-to-9
The Digital Nomad's Balancing Act: How to Leverage Your 9-to-5 to Fuel Your 5-to-9 The early phases of becoming a digital nomad are nothing short of a balancing act—especially when you're still tied to a traditional job. When you're still in the place you call home, the familiar environment where your journey begins, managing both a full-time job and a budding business can feel overwhelming. But what if I told you that your 9-to-5 shouldn't be a hindrance? Instead, it should be the fuel that accelerates your 5-to-9. Your Job Is a Funding Source—Use It Wisely The most immediate and tangible benefit of your 9-to-5 is financial stability. Your paycheck is a resource, not just for daily living but for investing in your dream. Whether you get paid weekly, biweekly, or monthly, each check has the power to either keep you stuck or propel you forward. Here’s the mindset shift: Instead of seeing your job as something that takes time away from your business, view it as your initial investor. You work in exchange for income—now, how you allocate that income determines your trajectory. If you master financial discipline and commitment, you can channel your earnings into the tools, education, and systems that will help your business grow. Prioritize the expenses that have the highest return on investment, and be intentional with every dollar you make. The Hidden Perks: Skill Development at Work Beyond the paycheck, your job is also equipping you with invaluable skills. Every task, interaction, and challenge is refining your abilities, many of which will directly benefit your entrepreneurial journey. Think of your workplace as a free training ground. Here’s how: - Sharpening Your Communication & Writing Skills I never realized how much writing my job required until I found myself doing it constantly. Over time, it made me a better communicator, and now, that same skill is a cornerstone of my business. Whether it's crafting emails, blog posts, or marketing content, my writing ability has been an unexpected asset. - Mastering People Management & Emotional Intelligence My workplace is a melting pot of personalities—some inspiring, others downright challenging. Learning to navigate different perspectives and handle conflicts has been instrumental in preparing me for the entrepreneurial world. Business is about people, and understanding how to interact, negotiate, and influence is an advantage. - Time Management & Productivity A structured work environment forces you to meet deadlines, organize tasks, and prioritize effectively. If you can master time management at work, you can transfer that discipline into your business. Think of your job as a practice arena where you hone the habits that will define your entrepreneurial success. Your 9-to-5 as a Mirror: Understanding Yourself Better The way you handle your job often reflects how you'll approach your own business. Your resilience, creativity, and problem-solving skills are all being tested daily. Pay attention to how you navigate challenges at work because those same challenges—sometimes magnified—will appear in your business. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is the power of self-awareness. I work in a high-stress environment, one that can be frustrating and even toxic at times. But through experience, I’ve recognized that I have control over how I respond. My mindset and energy are my most valuable assets, and if my job ever drains them to the point where my business suffers, I know it’s time to step back. There are moments when I realize that a break from work is necessary—not out of laziness, but out of strategic self-preservation. Recently, when workplace stress started spilling into my creative process, I made the intentional choice to take a day off. But that day wasn’t wasted; it was an investment in my goals. Instead of dwelling in negativity, I used that time to blog, work on my book, and complete a course I had been meaning to finish. It was a reminder that stepping away can sometimes be the most productive move. Guilt-Free Growth: Embracing Your Dual Role If you’ve ever felt guilty about focusing on your business while still being employed, let that go. You don’t owe your job blind loyalty at the expense of your future. Your goal is to create a life where you have full control, and until then, your 9-to-5 is simply a stepping stone. Here’s how to keep the balance: - Plan your transition strategically. Set milestones for when and how you’ll shift into full-time entrepreneurship. - Protect your energy. Recognize when your job is depleting you and take necessary breaks to realign. - Leverage everything. Extract as much value as possible from your current role to benefit your long-term vision. This means actively identifying opportunities for growth within your job—learning new skills, networking with influential colleagues, gaining certifications, and understanding industry trends that could help you in your entrepreneurial journey. Leverage the resources available to you, whether it’s free training, leadership development programs, or even just access to a network of professionals who can guide you. Every single experience at your job can be repurposed into knowledge, expertise, and credibility that will serve you as a business owner. Your current role isn't just a paycheck—it's a training ground and a launching pad. Final Thoughts The journey to becoming a successful digital nomad or entrepreneur isn’t about sudden leaps; it’s about intentional, strategic moves. Your 9-to-5 isn’t your enemy—it’s a tool. Use it wisely, extract every lesson, and keep your vision clear. One day, when you look back, you’ll realize that every long shift, every stressful moment, and every paycheck played a role in helping you build the life you once only dreamed of. The question isn’t whether you can do it—it’s whether you’ll make the most of where you are now to get where you want to be. Now, tell me: How are you leveraging your 9-to-5 to fuel your business?
