CASIO QV-2300UX

「こた～え　いっぱ～つ　カシオミニ～♪」は1978年のCMらしい。 ぼくは12歳くらいだから、中1あたりだろうか（早生まれなので） 以前にも書いたが、カシオが背面液晶パネル付きのコンシューマーデジタルカメラを世界に先駆けて発売したのは1994年だった。 どんなカメラだったかはリンクを置いておくので、随時参照されたい。

それから6年後の2000年に、このQV-2300UXは発売された。 有効202万画素の1/2.7型CCD。レンズは41mm～123mmの3倍でF2.8～F4.5。メディアはMD、CFで、バッテリーは単三4本。

スイバル式

スイバル式は以前にNikon Coolpix 990や2500、あるいはCyber-shot F505Vを紹介している。 今のようにマルチアングルの背面液晶パネルがない時代であったことや、もともとデジタルスチルカメラは、ムービーカメラの延長で作られていることからも、こういった形のカメラは然るべきかも知れない。 ましてQVシリーズはSwivelが象徴でもあるのだから。

単三電池

このカメラも単三電池で駆動する。 カシオは単三電池に拘りがあったのか、デザインに制約ができてしまう（単三電池より細くも小さくもできない）デメリットがあり、他のメーカーのフラッグシップのようにスマートなカメラが作れない。 もちろん逆に言えば、しっかり握ることができると言えるが、まぁ、ここらへんは好みの問題でもあるのだろう。

マクロ

このカメラの長所の一つは、マクロ性能である。 レンズ前1cmというのはなかなか強烈である。 しかもちゃんとAFが合焦する。

画質などの面では、同時期の他メーカーに遅れをとった感は否めない。 マクロで合焦する、と書いたが、普段でも結構な割合でAFが外れるし、AEも暴れる。 出てくる色の感じは嫌いではないのだけど、やはりカシオがデジカメメーカーとして評価されるのはEXILM以降ということになるのだろう。

ぎゃー！でかーい！おもーい！かっこいい！！ 

mk-1も着けた状態の250フィルムバックはなかな見ないね。

MF-4かと思いきや MF-17。単三電池をさらに4本積むことが許されている。でも、デートユニット取り付けられないようになっているので意味はなかった。そもそもフィルムも厳しいけどね。

MD-4と合わせると単三電池12本。電池だけでも相当である。

ま、重くて飛べないわな。
