The VQ engine GT-R takes the podium, and in the GT300, showing a glimpse of its capabilities, Silvia fights for the championship!

The Skyline GT-R, which competes in the GT500 class of the All Japan GT Championship, was forced into the toughest battle ever in the 2002 season. In order to switch the engine from the RB26DETT to the VQ30DETT midway through the season, we had to compete with the conventional improved 2001 model car for the first half, and simultaneously develop the engine and chassis for the 2002 model car in the second half.

Looking back at each race from the middle of the series, Round 4, the last race for the RB26DETT, was held in Sepang, Malaysia, where the championship was held for the first time. At one point, three GT-Rs were in the top six, showing a development befitting a farewell race, but the Castrol Pit Work GT-R (Masami Kageyama/Eric Comas), who was aiming for the win, was following behind. An unfortunate retirement due to a rear-end collision. Calsonics Skyline (Kazuyoshi Hoshino/Tetsuya Tanaka) was also sidelined due to brake trouble and was the only survivor.

Xanavi Nismo GT-R (Satoshi Motoyama/Michael Krumm) finished in 4th place.

In the following 5th round at Fuji, all three Skyline GT-Rs were equipped with the 02 version of the VQ engine. Here the Xanavi Nismo GT-R was in a good position in 3rd place in qualifying, and moved up one position in the final to take 2nd place on the podium. The power of the VQ engine was already demonstrated.

In Round 6 at Motegi, all three cars missed the timing of their qualifying attacks, and despite being in a difficult position, they were unable to achieve the results they had hoped for in the final. Furthermore, Hoshino, who was participating in the Calsonic Skyline, suddenly announced his retirement before this race. Benoît Treluyer, the 2001 Japanese F3 champion, was appointed in his place.

In the 7th race at MINE, the Xanavi nismo GT-R made a strong chase from its qualifying position of 10th and finished in 2nd place. Skyline gives a feeling of definite maturity.

The GT-R still had a chance of winning the championship heading into the final race.

However, in the final race at Suzuka, both the Xanavi Nismo GT-R and Calsonic GT-R suffered from trouble, leaving the Castrol Nismo GT-R in 8th place, the highest placed Skyline GT-R. As a result, the team ranking for the 2002 series was Nismo in 7th place and Impul in 12th place. In the drivers' ranking, Motoyama/Krumm finished in 7th place.

In the GT300 class, Unisia Jecs Silvia (Tetsuya Yamano/Masataka Yanagita) started by winning the third round at SUGO, steadily gaining points and continuing to fight for the championship until the final round. He took pole position in qualifying for the final race, where he was forced to carry a weight handicap of 80 kg, the upper limit of his class, and led from the start in the final race. However, just as the championship was just around the corner, engine trouble suddenly occurred. In the end, I finished 3rd in the ranking, a disappointing result. In the final race, Daishin ADVAN Silvia (Nobuyuki Oyagi/Takayuki Aoki) won. As the defending champion, he took revenge and achieved a beautiful final result.

Unfortunately, they missed out on the title in the 2002 season, but Nissan's efforts to win the title in 2003 have already begun.

サーキットへ行きたくなっちゃう!? 憧れのレーシングマシンを見て、乗って、体験してモータースポーツを身近に感じられた一日【モータースポーツジャパン2018】

2018年4月14日（土）に、東京・お台場特設会場で開催された「モータースポーツジャパン2018フェスティバル イン お台場」へ行ってきました！ 本来であれば14日（土）、15日（日）の2日間開催予定でしたが、強風と降雨の予報が出ていたため、15日（日）は残念ながら中止に。14日（土）も一部イベント内容を変更し、15時30分までの開催となりましたが、それでも44,917人のお客さんが会場に集まりました。 会場には国内、外の自動車メーカーのブースがたくさん出展されており、どこから回ろうか楽しみすぎてソワソワしちゃう！ 三菱自動車ブースでは、45度の傾斜を登り��る4WD登坂キット同乗体験を実施。まるでスキーのジャンプ台のような登坂キットを登っていくクルマを発見した時は驚きのあまり、しばし口がポカーンと開いたままだった気が（笑）。私も同乗体験をさせてもらったので、その模様は後日レポートしますね。 MAZDAブースには、デミオ15MBとJAF公認ナンバー付きワンメイクレース「ロードスター・パーティレースⅢ」走行車、ロードスターNA-Aが展示されていました。 HONDAブースには、CIVIC  TypeRやNSX GT3（マカオ出場車）、MotoGP（ロードレース世界選手権）参戦マシンなど様々な車種が展示されていたのですが、中でも注目を浴びていたのが今シーズンからホンダとタッグを組んだトロロッソ・ホンダF1マシン、Toro Rosso STR13（Prototype）でした。 思い思いに写真を撮ったり、「その角度からも覗いちゃうの!?」と思わずツッコミたくなるほどマシンの隅々まで眺めたりと（F1好きとしてはその気持ち、痛いほどよく分かります！）、トロロッソ・ホンダへの期待を感じられました。 TOYOTA GAZOO Racingブースでは、WRC（世界ラリー選手権）やWEC（世界耐久選手権）、ニュルブルクリンク24時間レースなど世界で活躍しているマシンを展示。 同ブース内で行われた「スーパーフォーミュラタイヤ交換チャレンジ」は大人気で、子供達が軍手をはめて一生懸命タイヤ交換をしている姿がとっても可愛かったです。 私もレーシングマシンのタイヤ交換チャレンジをやったことがありますが、使用する機械やタイヤが重くて想像以上に大変だったことを思い出しました。参加した子供達はどう感じたのでしょうか。このイベントで、未来のメカニックが生まれると良いなぁなんて思ったり。   LEXUS GAZOO RacingブースではスーパーGT GT500クラス参戦マシン、LEXUS LC500（テストカー）が降臨。近くで見るGTマシンは迫力があって、めちゃくちゃかっこいい！ SUBARUブースへ行ってみると人だかりができていました。一体何をやっているのかなと覗いてみると……SUBARUの大人気レースクイーンBREEZEがいるー！　どうやら撮影会が行われていたようです。 NISSANブースでは、2013年スーパーGT  GT500クラスに参戦したMOTUL AUTECH GT-Rのコックピット体験が行われ、長蛇の列ができていました。マシンに乗り込んだ方はみんな、最高の笑顔！ 憧れのマシンに乗れるって、感動しますよね。 まだまだありますよ～！ SUZUKIブースは、クロスビーHYBRID MZとスイフトスポーツを展示。   場内で物凄い存在感とオーラを醸し出していた、日野レンジャーダカールラリー2018参戦車はコクピット体験を行っていました。   HINOブースにはラジコンやオリジナルグッズの販売コーナーもあったのですが、その中で驚きの商品を発見しました。なんとHDコンパクトドライブレコーダーが、1,100円で販売されていたのです！ 「1,100円ってどういうこと？まさか、おもちゃじゃないよね?」と不安になりブースの方に聞いてみたところ、画素数は低いもののドライブレコーダーとしての機能は問題ないとのことです。あー、びっくりした!! Sport Mode & Lobby

　- The Shortcut Penalties judgement algorithm has been updated:

Shortcut Penalties were originally assessed as soon as the car returned to the track. 

They will now be performed a short time after the car returns to the track.

Also, a Shortcut Penalty will not be applied if the car returns to the track in an unstable state after a shortcut, or when the driver intentionally decelerates after returning to the track.

Other Improvements and Adjustments

We remedied an issue with the "Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Edition Gr.3" where the position of the canard wing on the left front fender and the rear view while in the cockpit view mode were not accurate. (For more information regarding the correction to the canard wing, please see “'Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Edition Gr.3' Livery Data Warning.”)

The engine sound of the "Gran Turismo Red Bull X2014 Standard ’14" has been altered.

We have updated the names for "Fuji International Speedway" (formerly "Fuji Speedway F") and "Fuji International Speedway (Short)" (formerly "Fuji Speedway GT").

We fixed an issue in GT League where opponent cars were not being refueled in the "GT League Endurance" races.

Various other issues have also been addressed.

Fast Car But A Little Costly

Buy the 1990 Camaro IROC-z and upgrade as much as you can. This will cost a lot, but because the engine has large displacement, it’s upgrade will produce a very large top speed. If you check, the speed level will be at least 9.5.

Easy Cash

If you have a Bugatti Veyron, here’s an idea to get easy money. Fully upgrade the Veyron except for the race transmission. Then put your assist level on expert. Go to the event list and do the Le Mans Circuit de la Sarthe endurance race. Hire a driver to race for you. The Veyron outperforms all other cars there. The driver will win for you. While he is racing you can do something else. when you come back you will earn about 80,000 credits!

Easy Money And Winning

If you turn off the auto brake option you will get an increase in money for each race won. You will also be able to out-brake a lot of the competition, resulting in easier wins. Make sure that you follow the colored lines on the road though!

If you turn some assists off you get more money. I turn off traction control, stability control, and best line all the way off and I get a 30% increase in money. Note: This does not affect driver experience points or car experience points.

Glitch: Unlimited Money – Resell The Same Engines

This glitch may be fixed in a future update, but it works so far. First, you’llneed a starting amount of cash (enough to buy all the parts listed). You’ll alsoneed to create a Private Lobby on Xbox Live, and a capable friend online.

First, you’ll need to purchase a ’1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28′

Then buy EVERY engine which is available for it.

Next buy EVERY part for every engine.

Return to the main menu to save what you’ve just bought.

Now go straight to the ‘Engine Purchase Menu’ and sell them all.

Next join your friends private lobby

Then leave the lobby and QUICKLY press ‘B’ to go to the title screen

Now go back to the ‘Engine Purchase Menu’ and you will see that you still ownthe engines and parts you had bought, and have the money from selling them!

Then for unlimited repeat the steps from 5-8 to keep getting unlimited money.

Faster Braking

When you’re braking, hold LT+A and you will slow down a lot faster, and you won’tspin out!

2017年8月19日（土）、20日（日）に「ツインリンクもてぎ20thアニバーサリーデイ ツインリンクもてぎ2&4レース」が開催されます。 「2&4レース」はMFJ全日本ロード選手権第6戦JSB1000クラス（2輪）と全日本スーパーフォーミュラ選手権第4戦（4輪）と国内最高峰のレースを両方見ることができる、モータースポーツファンにとってたまらないイベント。 レースだけでも贅沢ですが、今年の「2&4レース」はツインリンクもてぎ開業20周年を記念したイベントが盛りだくさんなんです！　なかでも特に見逃せない、注目イベントはというと・・・。 まずは、8月20日（日）に開催される「タイムトラベルレース」。ツインリンクもてぎの歴史を彩ったSUPER GT・JGTC（全日本GT選手権）の3メーカーのチャンピオンマシン、さらにロードレース世界選手権であるWGP、MotoGPを席巻したHondaの歴代チャンピオンマシンが集結します。 一体どのような歴代マシン達が登場するのか、参加マシンとドライバーをどどーんと紹介しちゃいます！ ■2000年JGTC GT500チャンピオンマシン Castrol 無限 NSX （ドライバー：道上龍選手） 1996年JGTCに参戦を開始。初年度の1994年以来スカイライン、マクラーレン、トヨタ・スープラなどがタイトルを獲得してきましたが、NSXは1998年初優勝を記録すると、その後もトップ争いを続け2000年に念願のチャンピオンを獲得しました。 ■2008年SUPER GT GT500チャンピオンマシン XANAVI NISMO GT-R （ドライバー：本山哲選手） 2007年までフェアレディZで参戦したニッサン勢は、2008年にマシンをNISSAN GT-Rにスイッチ。NISMOは本山選手とブノワ・トレルイエ選手のコンビで開幕から2連勝し、全9戦中3勝の活躍をみせ、 見事ドライバーズチャンピオンを獲得しました。 ■2013年SUPER GT GT500チャンピオンマシン ZENT CERUMO SC430 （担当ドライバー：立川祐路選手） 2006年からレクサスSC430を投入。2011年には立川選手・平手晃平選手ペアで常にチャンピオン争いに絡む強さを見せつけ、2013年レクサスSC430で立川選手は自身3度目のチャンピオンを獲得しました。 ■1999年 GP250 Honda NSR250 1986年にデビューした250ccマシンで、ロードレース世界選手権（WGP）や全日本ロードレースなどで数々のチャンピオンを獲得した名車。国内では岡田忠之選手、宇川徹選手、加藤大治郎選手、青山博一選手らがNSR250でタイトルを手にし、世界に進出しました。そして2001年に加藤選手がNSR250で、2009年には青山選手がRS250RWでWGP250ccクラス世界チャンピオン獲得という快挙を成し遂げたのです。  ■1999年 GP500 Honda NSR500 （担当ライダー：岡田忠之選手） 1984年ロードレース世界選手権（WGP）にデビュー。翌1985年にはフレディ・スペンサー選手が7勝を挙げてチャンピオンを獲得しました。その後も2002年までの19年間で計10回ものチャンピオンに輝いた名車です。 ■2002年 MotoGP RC211V （担当ライダー：玉田誠選手） ロードレース世界選手権の最高峰が2ストローク500ccから4ストローク990ccに変更となった2002年、ホンダはニューマシンRC211Vを投入。全16戦中14勝の活躍をみせました。 ■2016年 MotoGP RC213V （担当ライダー：青山博一選手） RC211V、RC212Vと進化したホンダのMotoGPマシンは、エンジン排気量の上限が1,000ccとなった2012年にRC213Vを投入。ダニ・ペドロサ選手が7勝、ケーシー・ストーナー選手が5勝を記録しマニュファクチャラーズチャンピオンを獲得しました。 今シーズンもマルク・マルケス選手とペドロサ選手がランキング上位で争っています。 注目イベントは地上だけではありません！上空でも行われるんです!!　8月19日（土）・20日（日）に「空のF1」とも呼ばれている3次元モータースポーツ・シリーズ「レッドブル・エアレース・ワールドチャンピオンシップ」に初のアジア人パイロットとして2009年から参戦している室屋義秀選手が登場。ツインリンクもてぎ20周年祝賀飛行が決定しました（天候、視界不良、その他の理由により中止となる場合があります）。 室屋選手は現在、レッドブル・エアレース・ワールドチャンピオンシップ2017年シリーズの2大会で優勝。ワールドチャンピオンシップランキング2位にたっている、世界で活躍中のトップパイロットです。2007年・2008年にツインリンクもてぎで開催していたFAIオートボルテージュアエロバティックス日本グランプリにも参戦していました。 9年ぶりにツインリンクもてぎの空に戻ってくる室屋選手からコメントが届いていますよ。 「当時、国内で行われていたFAIオートボルテージュアエロバティクス世界選手権に参戦できたことは光栄で、パブリックトアワードで1位を頂いたことを鮮明に覚えています。開業20周年を祝うフライトができることを、心から楽しみにしています。」 最新のレースはもちろん、歴代チャンピオンマシン達によるデモレース、そして祝賀飛行まで見れるなんて、本当に贅沢ですよね。まさにツインリンクもてぎ開業20周年、アニバーサリーイヤーならではのスペシャルイベントです。 これはこの夏、一番の思い出になること間違いなし！　8月19日（土）、20日（日）はツインリンクもてぎへ足を運んでみてはいかがでしょうか？ （yuri） 【関連リンク】 ツインリンクもてぎ2&4レース公式ホームページ http://www.twinring.jp/2and4/ あわせて読みたい * グループで行くと超お得!! ツインリンクもてぎ夏の恒例イベント【音と光のシンフォニー花火の祭典】が今年も開催！ * 白バイ、クレーン車、トレーラ、消防車、装甲車！　ツインリンクもてぎで開催中の「森のいただきフェスタ」で働くクルマ大集合!! * 強さと運を兼ね備えた中嶋一貴選手、開幕戦鈴鹿で優勝！【スーパーフォーミュラー2017】 * 超お得！日本最高峰のバイクレースとフォーミュラカーレースが両方見れる「2017 NGKスパークプラグ鈴鹿2＆4レース」が開催！ * ツインリンクもてぎでS耐いよいよ開幕！「スーパー耐久2017第1戦」は、かつてない200分耐久×2DAYS！ http://dlvr.it/PbVw19
