McLaren Solus GT, 2022. A track-only realisation of the McLaren concept that debuted in the virtual gaming world. Production will run to 25 cars which have already been sold. The single-seat, closed-cockpit design with jet aircraft-style sliding canopy brings to life the futuristic McLaren concept that featured in the Gran Turismo SPORT video game. At less than 1,000kg in weight and with aerodynamic performance including downforce in excess of 1,200kg, the Solus GT – which is powered by a naturally aspirated 5.2-litre V10 engine – is capable of the fastest lap times of any McLaren outside of single-seater racing and delivers a driving experience close to the engagement and sensation of driving a Formula 1 car.

At least good to see my Filipino pal back on GT Sport’s play through. Saving the final was pretty rough; even for me when I’m trying to look forward of my previous gaming play throughs. It’s not too much for me to handle, though.

Also, It was disappointing to know not all data content will make its way for the next game that my friend’s planning.

Not going to lie, I spent most of the weekend playing this game. Like 90% of the weekend was spent playing this game. Truth be told, I bought this game months ago. I played it once and was so overwhelmed with how many things you could do or control, I stopped playing. Then on Friday, I wanted to play a video game. I just didn’t feel like following a story or leveling up or trying to fight…

Also, back for this continuation for his GT Sport that we waited for. Though we forgive him as he wanted to get this done before moving to a new one.

Anyways, back to his racing experience as he went through eight tracks, new collection of race cars he’d obtained, and surprisingly got his certificate. Yeah, that’s pretty cool! 👍

🦊⚽️Sam: Don’t forget that he got his own racing kart during that as well.

🐰🖌️Maxwell: Yeah! Do hope he can get into online racing anytime soon.

🐰👊💥May: Perhaps saving it when he’s on the next GT game to progress. Though after getting his PS Plus subscription first. It takes time.

Ferrari Vision Gran Turismo, 2022. Maranello’s first concept car designed specifically for the Gran Turismo® videogame series, has been revealed. The launch of the Ferrari Vision Gran Turismo brings the 75th anniversary celebrations of when the marque’s first-ever racing car, the 125 S, exited the factory gates in 1947, to an official close. The virtual racer is powered by the 120º 3-litre turbo V6 hybrid drivetrain using three electric motors with one on the rear axle and one on each of the front wheels. The ICE is tuned to produce 1030hp while the electric motors provide an additional 326hp. The Ferrari will be unveiled at the Gran Turismo World Finals in Monte-Carlo and will become available to all users of GT7 from the December 23, 2022, while a full-scale design study will be displayed in the Ferrari Museum in Maranello from December 15.
