Here is another idea. Imagine if we could get to roast the archons. Like a once in a lifetime event, The archon's roast. We get each archon on a panel and we get someone close to them. Even the archons get to roast each other.
Oh hell this is beautiful, I can already picture this happening, maybe courtesy of the Traveler or someone else having pulled them all into the Serenetea pot, one thing leads to another over drinks and soon the roasts start to fly.
From everyone ganging up on Venti about his drinking habits, to them turning on Zhongli over his inability to manage his own finances, to Ei's inability to handle change, to Nahida being too gentle with her people, to Furina's penchant for treating everything like a performance.
Eventually it all just devolves into a constant back and forth that has been spear headed by the likes of Dvalin (Best I could think of for Venti outside of Diluc or Barbara), Xianyun, Miko, Alhaithem or Nihlou, and Clorinde or Neuvilette.
And as this chaos is going on, the Traveler is leaning back in their chair, their face in their hands as they try and suppress a mixture of humor and embarrassment at the scene before them.
What would make it more chaotic is if it occurred during a celebration that includes more than just the aforementioned individuals, with the majority of the Traveler's comrades all being present, each one chiming in their own complaints and roasts, with the Archons retaliating in kind.
"I may be drunk, but at least I don't work till I collapse and have to be dragged away."
"I readily admit that I have issues with my own finances, but at least I am not constantly lying to my family regarding my profession."
"Change is not something that comes naturally to me, I admit. But at least I don't shed fur everywhere when the season changes, or worship a long dead God."
"Gentle I may be, but at least I can express myself openly, and not loose myself to my work. I also don't have a complex regarding my creator, nor have I attempted to be what I am not."
"Oh. You really want to go there? Well at least I didn't kill my friends father in front of her, or loose control over my own element and have to rely on a mere 'usurper' to get it back."
More and more the situation devolves as chaos reigns amidst the roasts and yells, all while Paimon joins the Traveler in hiding her face in her hands.
In a sagau setting, this could occur as a result of a combination of everyone being a little tipsy and a careless word, with the reader simply watching as the chaos breaks out around them, not needing to say a word as all hell breaks loose around them.
At least that is what comes to my mind at the moment, sorry if it is not what you had in mind.

Hello, I wanted to wish you and yours a merry early Christmas, I hope you stay safe and take care.
Also, I wanted to suggest that you look into the characters if a game/anime called Takt.op as your mention of Der Frieschutz, I hope I spelled that right, reminded me of it.
Said characters, known as Musicarts, are women that embody musical scores to fight against music hating and destroying entities known as Despair Dolls or D2s.
All of that said, take care and stay safe.
Oh yeah I remember that anime and game. The reason why is because of memes. If you look up fate grand order memes, there is a meme about one of the characters being the child of Karna and Nero Claudius.

Tumblr media
the sky was falling.
you were sure of it and afraid. the dark, star-less sky was falling, growing closer and closer to the ground, and soon, the sky would meet the earth.
you pressed your palms against the cold window and looked up, frozen and afraid, what can anyone do in a situation like this?
perhaps you could stop this from happening if only you had your power, but alas, that was in the past, you've changed and no longer wield the power that made you special.
"no..." a stray tear left your eye as you moved away from the window and towards the door to your room, you knocked, gently at first but as time passed it became more frantic and rough.
you began to feel faint, and your knocking became harder and you began to cry, "please, open this door! please someone- anyone! open the door!"
no answer.
you cried harder, the side of your hand becoming sore from banging on the door, you knocked and cried for quite some time but never gained an answer which led you to back away from the door and sit beside the window again.
you felt terrible. you rested your cheek against the window and cried, watching as the sky fell.
...
"what have you done, dottore?" PIERRO questioned dottore as DOTTORE passed out gas masks to all of the present harbingers, "there was a small incident." dottore replied.
COLUMBINA giggled as dottore tried to water down the situation before them.
"small? soldiers are fainting from that gas- some are in critical condition, what do you mean small?" SANDRONE snapped at dottore, as she slid the mask onto her face.
"this is a first. nothing like this has happened to me before-"
"mistakes from you will not be tolerated. some soldiers are barely breathing and delirious due to your mistake, nothing like this will happen again, understood?" pierro narrowed his eyes as he watched dottore humbled himself and nodded, before saying "of course, lord harbinger."
columbina messed with the straps on her gas mask as she asked, "do you think the gasses have reached out mag-"
"has something happened, where are all of the soldiers?" asked PANTALONE as he entered the castle, pierro quickly pulled pantalone in and shut the door behind pantalone, "we cannot let the gasses reach the town if that happens, we will never hear the end of it."
columbina tuts, after being cut off but didn't attempt to speak again.
"gasses-?" before pantalone could ask, dottore handed him a gas mask and with no questioning, he slid it over his face, "what gas? what has happened?" pantalone asked, and before dottore could explain, sandrone said, "dottore made a mistake, broke a jar full of toxic gasses, its harming harbingers and yet he doesn't seem to... care that much."
pantalone nodded slowly, his eyes roaming across the room slowly, but his majesty was nowhere to be seen, "where is our majesty?"
everyone paused, silence overtaking them before dottore said, with a scoff, "don't worry, our majesty is in the safest room of the castle, the gasses wouldn't be able to reach our majesty so soon."
"we don't want the gasses to reach our majesty at all!" sandrone was on the verge of ripping her hair out from the frustration she felt.
"we should check on our majesty..." columbina butted in, as she tugged at the straps of the gas mask, harder.
"do you know the side effect of the gasses, dottore?" pantalone asked, and dottore shook his head, "I know nothing about the gas, I was merely messing around when the jars broke."
"so... you were just playing with toxic gasses-"
"yes."
sandrone released a sigh, as she turned away from dottore, her frustration apparent as she clenched her fist. columbina grinned at the chaos, "how long have the gasses been flowing around?" she asked.
"for more than two hours now," dottore replied before sighing, hard... he believed everyone was completely overreacting.
"we must check on our majesty... just in the case that anything has happened, " pantalone said before he turned on his heel and began to walk up the staircase which led to your room.
the front door opened once again, "hey-!"
pierro pulled CHILDE into the castle and shut the door behind him, before handing him a gas mask, "what's this for?" childe asked as he slid it onto his face.
"dottore... released toxic gasses into the air," sandrone briefly explain and childe laughed, "really? I would have never expected that from him."
"me neither," columbina grinned and childe quickly looked over to the corner where columbina was resting and cringed slightly as he nodded.
...
"your majesty...? if you don't mind, we're coming in," pantalone warned but gained no response. pantalone opened the door and looked in, you weren't by the door or on your bed.
you were by the window, on the ground. pantalone fully entered the room and dottore followed after him. "you said our majesty was safe-"
"perhaps our majesty is resting," dottore said, trying not to worry pantalone as he turned you onto your back.
the gas had definitely reached you.
he could tell, from the way you were twitching and choking on your drool, the way your eyes rolled back into your head, and the way you were barely breathing.
dottore turned to pantalone, and tried his best to remain calm as he asked, "go back down and get a gas mask for our majesty, do not take your time."
pantalone was quick to leave the room and go down the stairs, to see that CAPITANO and ARLECCHINO had arrived, "I need a gas mask for our majesty."
pierro handed a gas mask to pantalone, then he went back up, just as he was walking up the stairs, capitano asked, "is our majesty not doing well?"
"I'm sure our majesty will be fine," pantalone replied but his voice was laced with uncertainty, which caused capitano to follow after pantalone.
pantalone reentered the room and capitano followed after him, "here," he handed the mask to dottore and dottore put the mask onto you.
dottore connected his and your mask (let us all pretend that something like that exists), so that his oxygen would become your own so that you could regain consciousness soon.
you choked before a small cry left your lips, pantalone kneeled to your side and ran his fingers across your arm, "are you feeling well, your majesty?"
"...sky... the sky, " you choke out as you attempted to sit up but dottore stopped you, mumbling for you to relax because you didn't feel well.
"what about the sky, your majesty-"
"pantalone, our majesty is already confused and you are making our majesty even more confused." dottore grumbled before lifting you into his and handing you over to capitano, after unconnecting your masks.
capitano took you down the stairs, "the sky... sky," you continue to repeat and in response, capitano hushed you, saying, "your majesty, calm down... you're confusing yourself."
"lay our majesty onto that table," dottore said to capitano, knowing he couldn't take you into his laboratory, so he settled for the dining room table, "and get a blanket for our majesty," dottore said to childe who idly sat on the table.
capitano placed you once the table and you tried to sit up once again, "the sky... it-" capitano gently placed a hand onto your shoulder and with a gentle push you lay motionless on the table.
"the sky..." you mumbled idly, weakly reaching out to sandrone, who looked over to you anxiously, she quickly made her way to your side and took your hand into hers, "what's wrong, your majesty?"
but you didn't reply but continued to mindlessly mumble on about the sky. what was happening? why do you feel so bad? why are all the harbingers leaning over you with worried expressions?
"our majesty will be alright, with time, surly the side effects will fade off, our majesty's immune system is far stronger than the average human's immune system" dottore tried to calm the others, though his words didn't seem to calm them at all.
"i can't believe this!" sandrone grumbled, her fists tight as she narrowed her eyes at dottore, "this wouldn't have happened if you were a little more... more careful!"
seeing you so weak... disheartened sandrone.
"hey, you heard dottore, our majesty will be fine. just give our majesty some time to come around," childe stood at the edge of the table, a small smile on his face, as his hand rested upon your ankle, as he tried to comfort sandrone though his words didn't seem to reach her.
"what...? what's happening, where-" you pushed yourself up slowly, eyes squinted, vision blurred and hands shaking.
"your majesty-!"
"sandrone, quiet." pierro held a hand up, to silence her or anyone else who would attempt to speak.
you were silent, staring off past the harbingers and at the wall. your lips parted and breath uneven. "pierro- tell me what's happening," you commanded as you ran your fingers across the gas mask on your face, "wh-what is this?"
"dottore released toxic gasses into the air as a result of him carelessly messing around with the gasses in his laboratory." pierro replied, his tone sharp as he glanced back at dottore.
"forgive me, your majesty." dottore apologized, his eyes closely watching you as you looked around at all the harbingers.
columbina sat down beside you, her cold fingertips running across your skin, as she felt for your pulse and smiled.
"now, your majesty, you were saying something about the sky... do you remember what you were talking about?" pantalone asked.
"yes..." you started, as you tried to get off of the dining table but capitano grabbed your arm and pulled you back to where you were once sitting, "the sky... was falling. i saw it," you told the harbingers.
"falling? is that even possible?" arlecchino asked, and dottore shook his head, "completely impossible. perhaps the gasses reached her sooner than i initially thought it had," dottore mumbled to himself but sandrone, being so shaken up by what had happened, said, "this is terrible! You're just terrible. you've caused our majesty unnecessary suffering... thanks to your carelessness."
"have I not apologized countless times?" dottore asked, his eyes narrowed at sandrone, "if you hadn't been so carele-"
"stop it- the both of you. do you not realize you're making this about yourselves other than our majesty? both of you, come with me" pierro grabbed dottore and sandrone by their arms and with a less than polite grin, excused the three of them.
columbina grinned as dottore and sandrone got pulled away.
the remaining harbingers sat in silence.
childe sat at the edge of the table, his hand rubbing your ankle. to childe, it was an honor to touch your skin... your perfect skin... heck, it was an honor to even be able to serve you.
arlecchino was admittedly quite angry though she made no comments. how could dottore be so careless... our majesty could have died because of him... how dare he. she stood at your side, her hands pocketed in an attempt to look composed but by the way she was biting her lip, it was obvious that she wasn't at all happy with what happened.
capitano was at the side of arlecchino, he silently stared down at you, he was just grateful that you were okay. things could be worse. but they aren't and he's grateful for that. he wanted to hold you again but he knew if he did, he'd end up never letting you go.
columbina was sitting at your side, her cold fingertips grazing your skin, as she hummed to you. she was happy, to say the least, she didn't want to be away from you for so long ever again. she smiled softly as she held your hand.
pierro came back minutes later, "your majesty is going to recover just fine. some of the soldiers are already making recoveries themself."
the tension amongst the harbingers seemed to fade and everything seemed okay again.

LETS GOOOO thank you for tag @carpetbug :) (totally didn't accidentally reblog the post because i forget how these games work)(lol)
Get to know you game! Answer the questions and tag 9 people who you want to know better.
Last song listened to: Taking What's Not Yours by TV Girl. it's so Claudrien coded it drives me up at got damned wall <3
Currently Watching: Not a huge fan of TV shows, but I did rewatch Hbomberguy's Pathologic video recently. The idea of the multiple main characters making worse decisions when you don't play as them is one of my favorite concepts EVER and I could only hope to create something that captures that concept.
Currently Reading: The King in Yellow by Robert W. Chambers. I love love LOVE the weird fiction genre so much. It's also an anthology of short stories which makes it much easier to digest schedule-wise.
Currently obsessed with: Claudrien. I apologize that it's the only thing I ever talk about. I think it's terminal. But a close second is Delulunette/Lucky Lucky Ladybug because she's so fun to write as an unlikable whiny girlfailure with a god complex.

Hello there, I saw you followed and after seeing your profile I was curious as to what your thoughts on Arcana are, namely as to not only why she wanted Vertin to join Manus, but also why she did not kill her when she had the chance.
I am only just getting past the battle with 'The Guiding One' so I apologize if some of this redundant information is answered in the game, but I am curious as to your thoughts on the matter.
Arcana had Vertin and her crew dead to rights, if she had kept calling forth that sludge and her Followers, then she probably could have wiped us all out then and there in that camp, and yet she instead left us alive for whatever reason.
While she could just want Vertin to come her side willingly later on, so that she can have access to her 'ark', alongside of the potential trove of information that Vertin can offer to her and Manus as a whole, there is nothing keeping her from just forcing her into subservience and keeping her shackled to her side by force as opposed to letting us go as she did.
There is also the questions she asked Vertin and her reactions to the answers she received, namely in regards to Vertin telling her about the immunity to the Storm that the Foundation has been searching for.
What I mean by that is, why did she say Vertin was lying? How could Arcana have known she was lying unless she knew the answer herself, and if she did, why ask Vertin?
Also, how could she know the Foundation is creating the Storm? There is an equal chance that it is a force brought about by a third party that is beyond both Manus and the Foundation, and yet she seems so certain that it is St. Pavlov making the Storm, why?
I am curious as to your thoughts on these matters and your opinion on them, again I apologize if these questions are redundant or the answers contain spoilers for later in the game.
That said, take care and stay safe.
Tumblr media
Hey! Thank you for the ask. Maybe she was bored and wanted to watch us? I don't really know. Perhaps she kept us alive because she wanted us to infiltrate The Foundation, or maybe to get alliances with our friends. There's a lot of reasons to keep someone like us alive. If nothing else, maybe she knows our mom or something idk. ("So you have a mother!" Ahh)
But that's just a theory.
A RCANE THEORY
Jokes aside this is a good question, thank you for the ask @nomorefstogive ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

Here is this idea imagine Furina as judge Judy.
Oh God that is a beautiful image lol.
This may not be what you have in mind, but I can see her being just so tired and done with everything after she has served her role as the Archon of Fontaine, but maybe Neuvilette winds up ill or forced on vacation, or such and she has to fill in for him, after all she helped write most of those laws.
Cue her filling the one role I imagine she hates about as much as being an actress, that being a judge, with everyone at first doubting that she will be even half as talented as their Iudex, only to be proven wrong time and again.
The problem is that for some reason, she is being forced to endure either the most convoluted trials imaginable, the most idiotic trials imaginable, or just the most annoying defendants/plaintiff's to the point of loosing her temper.
Arlecchino is treating the whole affair like a comedy, while her children are trying desperately not to join in the laughter as Furina begins to tear into someone who wished to sue their parents for not allowing them to stay in their home.
Clorinde is worrying that Furina is going to snap and start killing people herself, or have a massive mental breakdown due to the piling stress, with Navia sharing her concerns.
Wriothsely is busy laughing his ass off with each new page of transcripts he gets his hands on as he looks over what some poor fool did to piss her off enough to get sent to the Fortress.
The Traveler is just hoping to prevent any international incidents that could occur, while also trying to keep the peace in the Courtroom alongside of Clorinde and Navia, something that is made difficult when someone brings in a pair of horses and tries to point out the most minute differences in the brands to signify that one was made with a fake brand.
It is safe to say that Neuvilette's return will be a joyous one, complete with Furina running out of the Opera Epiclese screaming "I'M FREE!" at the peak of her lungs lol.
I hope you enjoyed this little tangent of an idea this image gave me, stay safe and take care.

Hi! 🦀 here thanks for answering my idea. Here's what I imagine what would Mania form! Chief would look like;
Tumblr media
Credits to the original owner of the character Ping and the artist Neytirix! You should check out their arts in Twitter,yt, and deviant art (those are the only platform I know from now)
Basically I took the 'consume' in a literal way- like- in the future Mania form! Chief consume the first ever black ring(BR-000 if i remember it correctly) or consume the Mania in the city like those contamination, corpus, Corruptors etc. Probably the Sinners but instead their suffering or manic I guess? So yeah :D I hope your doing alright, drink plenty of water, gets some rest and good night
I like this design for their Mania form, something otherworldly and unnatural in form, wholly alien to our world and understanding, not quite solid, and yet not quite gaseous, a form of matter unknown to all making up a body that defies all other explanation beyond monstrous.
I can picture the Chief loosing control as the Mania overwhelms them, shadows and mist erupting from their form as they scream and howl in agony, the shackles burning with their pain as they begin to twist and distort into the monster pictured above, a howl slipping past the beasts lips as it surges towards BR-00, where it begins to feed on the power, culminating in a monstrous metamorphosis.
I like to imagine that they also possess a human form that they can switch into, after they achieve this state of Apotheosis, their eyes changing into the symbol of the Illusory Moon as the shackles coalesce into a halo above their head, wings of dark red and black, the colors of mania, mingled with the white and blue of Hypercubes mingled with the colors as they cast an ominous glow over the Chief's surroundings.
Part of this design is inspired by an idea I have that Mania is setting the chief up to be some form of Messianic figure to use as a means of securing dominance over the world, utilizing an angelic form to make them appear more divine to humanity, but I digress on that front.
This design makes me imagine their form as being more cosmic and otherworldly in nature even when human, the wings gaining an almost nebula like quality, the reds, blacks, blues, and whites mingling in constellations and galaxies.
Their hair becomes as comet trails, burning wisps of platinum gray light with the colors Mania and Hypercubes, of Madness and Order, reflecting from within the trails of light as the hair lengthens to caress their heels with each step, their skin gaining a faint glow as their clothing mends of any damage as they begin to walk towards their Sinners, their arms outstretched as though to embrace them as their eyes blaze with power undreamt of by mortals.
I feel this change would also manifest in their mentality warping, where as the human form embodies their desire for order and stability, along with their juvenile state, with the Mania form and their altered human state representing their growth into their own desires and mania, perhaps not quite their adult hood, but the middle ground between the pair, or mayhap a fusion of both Mania and Order.
The changes of their personality could be something as mild as them becoming more selfish, more determined to achieve their own happiness amidst the world, to something as major as them becoming near tyrannical in their views of matters, disdainful of those they cannot shackle and bind to them, and seeking to spread mania to all so that they may bind all to them.
In addition to this, I feel that their powers would alter, the normal Protestats, I think I spelled that right, growing to nightmarish levels of power, a Dark Sound becomes enough to level buildings, an Empower can recharge entire squadrons of Sinners, and a Last Stand, can make an entire legion fight like the hounds of hell made flesh and bone.
The Mania form would likely possess not only these powers, but also the ability to feed upon the Mania of the Sinners and to copy and or utilize said Sinner's powers as their own, something their human form would share to a lesser extent.
A towering monster of Mania is already a loathsomely powerful foe, but one that can call forth Ignis's flames along with Kelvin's ice to cause temperature explosions brought about by super cooling and then super heating the air, along with Chameleon's Hypnotic powers and Adele's ability to alter Memories to insure that none would even be aware of just who or what they were fighting unless the beast wished the m to be, perhaps even erasing its presence entirely until it is ready to strike.
There is also the fact that having absorbed so much Mania, it is likely the Chief would be giving off enough mania to turn any person in an enormous radius around them into either a sinner or a corruptor, with the sinners being the only ones able to draw near to them, their Mania monster form would likely have a radiation field of Mania able to effortlessly envelop all of Dis in its grasp and begin to contaminate all of those present.
Beyond all of that, I feel like this transformation would mark the beginning of a complete and total breakdown of Dis as Paradeisos and the Underground are faced with the the Chief's control over Mania and Sinners, along with their own power, reaching the point of being able to challenge both of them with ease as they become the one ready to flip the chessboard betwixt the two factions as they make their own play for Dis.
Would the Chief's actions be born out of malice?
Unlikely.
But as the saying goes, "The road to Hell is paved with good intentions," and one can only imagine what the Chief would do in pursuit of any noble goal with their mind and form altered such.
Like it or not, a new age would dawn for Dis and the world as a whole, and only time would tell if it would be a Golden age, or a Cruel Age.
At least that is all I have at the moment lol, sorry for the rambling, I got carried away again.
Take care and stay safe.

I dont remember who made it, how long has it been since I read it or the name. If anybody knows, please help, I have been loonking for it for iver 2 weeks now😭(All I know is that its on tumblr
I think I know what you are talking about, I'm pretty sure I read it but I forget who wrote it and I cannot find it when I search for it on my end, sorry I cannot be of any help with this matter.

Imagine giving the path to nowhere sinners music from our world. I would like to see the reactions to lady gaga or Miley Cyrus.
Idea imagine we make a music video with the sinners. If you look up the music video for prisoner by Miley Cyrus and Dua Lipa. Imagine that with the sinners
Sorry for the delay in getting this out, I have been having some fun delving into a new AU for Warhammer 40k, Female Primarchs and the mayhem they would bring, and binging Fallout New Vegas with some mods in it.
Side Note: Lakelurks are assholes and I will make them all into sushi if one more hits me.
That said, I read this and I immediately pictured Peggy, Hella, and several others being introduced to the Rap Legend that is Eminem, the Chief would have a migraine by the end of the first few hours of hearing about his songs and them quoting said songs lol.
As for the idea of the MBCC branching off and making music videos featuring the sinners, it is certainly in the realm of possibility given Deren's reality bending powers, along with the potential resources of some of the wealthier sinners (Chelsea, Cabernet, Eirene etc), along with the talents of the more technically talented sinners, such as Summer, it would be rather simple for them to do so.
It would also be interesting to see some of the Sinners lend their voices or ideas to the lyrics and such for the songs, a real surprise being the potential for the Grim Reaper herself, Nox, lending her voice and the voices of those within her to the song.
Somehow, I feel this idea would work in a very amusing way if the Chief and Nightingale were unaware of just what it was the Sinners were up to, until they see one of the videos as an ad lol.
Additionally, I feel that the Sinners would enjoy a rather diverse range of music, with some like Chameleon and Eirene enjoying classical such as Bethoven and Mozart, while others, such as Mr. Fox and maybe Demon or Langley might enjoy older style music such as Frank Sinatra, at least those are my takes on the matter.
Although, now I am curious, which genres of music do you feel the Sinners and Staff of the MBCC would enjoy?
Also, and this is due in no small part to my renewed fascination with the setting, how do you feel the MBCC would react to being shown the world of Fallout, or how a crossover between the 2 worlds would go with Fallout being set on another landmass opposite to Dis and Eastia?
With all of that said, stay safe and take care.

Idk if you have seen my ask but who is your favorite reverse 1999 character. I have Shamane as my favorite.
Sorry for the delay I only saw it when I got home from work.
As for my favorite...hmmm...it is a 4 way tie between Sonetto, Schneider, Druvis, and Pickles, but if I had to pick one out of the 4 of them then it would be Sonetto.
Bless her heart she tries to be the sane one in the group, but she has her work cut out for her with trying to handle Vertin by herself, let alone the gaggle of lunatics that have come to work with the Timekeeper lol.
The poor bean has to balance the lunacy of the Timekeeper and her antics, with the oppressive nature of St. Pavlov, and the danger of both Manus Vindictae and the Storm, and somehow she remains the only one of Vertins group that has something of a normal sense of sanity.
That and the fact she is quite shameless in how much she cares for Vertin, all while being wholly oblivious to Matilda's pining for her, makes her something of my favorite out of the crew.
Again, sorry for the delay in posting this, hope you take care and stay safe.

just some random idea I have on my mind. So both Shalom and Hecate are experiments of Paradeisos, they also have this Mania monster that are the emotions of that Sinner. So hear me out Chief and their like Mania creature thing? I remember scrolling through tumblr someone mentioned that Shalom said we are already a monster before they taken in us, like the person said what if in a literal way. Chief with their Mania form, their Mania form is strong because of the shackles connecting or supressing mania from Sinner, i headcanon they have a deep hatred on the Paradeisos. So yeah...(sorry 4 my bad English because it's not my first language)
🦀
Don't worry about the poor english you did very good, it's my first language and I have trouble with it at times too, so you are not alone my friend lol.
I would also like to preface this by apologizing if this reply is something of a mess, I am a little tired at the moment and trying to be concise and orderly with my thoughts and words is difficult for me on a good day lol.
As for the idea of the Chief being a Mania Monster similar to Nightmare or Rebel, it is an idea I have considered, my own theory is that the Chief has some type of bond or tie to the Perishing Star, given they were present during the Keylan Expedition and how easy it seems to be for the Illusory Moon and Mania to reach out to them during the Immortals events.
I feel that the chief is some kind of progeny or offspring of Mania, a sliver of humanity and hope given shape and form by Mania when it struck the earth and began to coalesce and seize power as it took dominion of the world from mankind, for either a long con or for other reasons thus far unknown.
Or perhaps it could be more apt to say that they were severed from Mania, with Mania as we know it reflecting the darkness and madness of the human psyche while the chief was to embody the opposite, being a beacon of control and order amidst the madness, something that humanity, so desperate for hope, would latch onto and nurture for the sake of its own survival.
The alternative to this is that the chief is something else entirely, some kind of entity that may have once been a part of Mania itself, or perhaps something else entirely, a wildcard left to roam free so as to grow and swell in might to be of better use come the time they are needed.
Apologies for the brief rant, I got off topic lol.
I agree with the chief having a deep resentment for Paradeisos, something that they themselves are likely unaware of the sheer depth of due to the interrupted rejuvenation leading to their memories being wiped before the story began...something which is oddly coincidental if you think about it.
I digress.
On the Subject of the Chief's power coming from them linking with the sinners and suppressing/controlling their mania, I agree that seems to be the case for their own growing strength.
That said, it makes me think that if their power is indeed growing with every Sinner they shackle, then the 'Rules' of Paradeisos are the only thing keeping the rising typhoon of manic power at bay, though one can only wonder how long such barriers will last.
If the Chief is indeed some form of Mania entity, something which is strongly hinted at in canon as well given some of the liens the Corpseborne and Parma say about the Chief, then it stands to reason that they could be either a defective corpseborn, as some seem to believe, or perhaps they are the final product of the process.
A being that is indistinguishable from a human and yet endowed with great and terrible power that grows more and more as mania spreads, as if their power is indeed growing with each sinner that is shackled and every corpus they consume, then one has to try and picture just what kind of monster the Chief will be when they are returned to full power and the 'Rules' fail.
I feel that when such a thing occurs, and it will occur, the Chief's old persona will resurface in full and Dis will be granted audience with a Vassal of Mania whose power exceeds any and all things they have witnessed before as Mania calls its Shepherd to its side once more to settle old scores with Paradeisos and the Underground alike.
Again, I apologize for going off course and starting to ramble, it tends to happen more often than not lol.
I feel that is all I have for this at the moment so I will leave this here, stay safe and take care.

Funfact, there us a yugioh archetype based on dark souls. Look up ashened. It would be amazing to see your reactions and analysis on it if you want to.
Hello, again I am sorry for the delay with this, I will be answering both this ask and your previous one regarding the Umbrella Academy Dance Off idea in this one reply.
First, let's start with the most humorous of the pair, that being the dance off, I am admittedly not that experienced with Umbrella Academy, but the image that post has painted in my mind left me chuckling for quite a while after reading it.
As for how such a thing would occur in a SAGAU setting...hmmm...I have two ideas for the matter, the first involves Venti's one true love and the other involves the one thing you can always expect to occur when such wildly devoted individuals over hear something and make an assumption.
The first one, as I stated, involves the one true love of the Tone-Deaf Bard; Booze. To be exact, it involves the acolytes getting drunk off their asses at a celebration and someone, perhaps even the reader themselves, inadvertently starting the dance off as a means of showing off for the reader who, along with the other sober participants, is watching with a mixture of amusement and embarrassment at the mess before them.
The second involves the acolytes being sober...well...oaky all of them but Venti who is rarely, if ever truly sober, with them misunderstanding something the reader says and trying to impress them at a ball or other such form of celebration, with the ensuing chaos being a game to try and court the readers favor...or make them die of embarrassment and laughter, they are not certain because while some of them can dance...others...well...the kindest descriptor is an epileptic chicken with a strobe light tied to its face running around with a sparkler shoved somewhere sensitive...in other words, a mess.
As for the Ashened, it does indeed remind me a great deal of the Soulsborne series, the naming schemes for the characters, along with the link to fire and a constant cycle of conflict, with their souls having been trapped within an unending cycle of battle for a nation and cause long swept under the ashes and dust of the past.
The character designs seem like they would be quite fitting in the gritty and grim setting of the Soulsborne verse as well, along with the mechanic the main boss of the deck seems to have involving consuming the souls of the fallen to enhance its own strength. which calls to mind the Lords of Cinder from DS3...a dragon Lord Of Cinders...oh that is a nightmare that will haunt me for some time.
Veidos...hmmm...why do I suddenly hear Dark Eater Midir's theme?
The idea of them being trapped in a cycle does make me wonder just how powerful each of them would be when they are taken out of their ashen city, as, assuming we are following the logic of the Souls genre, they would have been growing in power and skill with each life and death as they gained the souls of their fallen comrades to further fuel their struggle against extinction made flesh.
Which also asks just how powerful Veidos would be if he does indeed absorb all of the fallen inhabitants souls should he be pushed too far, with the surge of power likely placing him on par with, if not superior, to the Archons in terms of sheer destructive power, and that is assuming he does not also gain their memories and power to further enhance himself.
I am curious as to just what would happen should their cycle end, as it seems to be caging Veidos and preventing it from taking any actions against the rest of the world due to it appearing to be trapped with them, assuming I am reading this correctly, so I wonder if the cycles breaking would herald him being released on the world in full, or if they would have worn him down over the aeons spent battling him.
Regardless of that matter, the idea of them having been fighting for so long that not only has history forgotten their names, but it is likely their entire nation has long been swept from the maps, which would cause no small amount of chaos should it be discovered as the nations would likely try and search for whatever wealth and power is hidden in the ruins of the nation, only to be pulled into the cycle, likely being viewed as enemies by the people of Obsidim.
I feel that by the time they are able to bridge the language barrier or convince them that they are not on the side of Veidos, that iteration of the cycle would likely have reached its conclusion, with those dying being enveloped by the same power that seared the Ashened warriors souls into their city and thus joining in bein g trapped in the cycle until it is at last broken with Veidos' death.
Something that will not come easy.
That is all I have for now, sorry for the delay with this again, take care and stay safe.

I AM SOBBING
Dear Chief, Persephone, I am begging you please, holy shit you’re so brave I’d be crying from sheer shame if I manage to piss off an organization of deadly women so badly you get your clothes branded with such a thing.
Nightingale and Langley and Shalom is such a mood, with Nightingale trying to sound Very Professional but also this close to just asking, chief, why, on top of the paperwork for the entire week that she has to deal with because dear chief is spirited away to get herself absolutely fucked silly. God I want to write that part so so so bad right now.
Poor Chris getting dragged to the problem even though she was not even there URNDBDNFHSNDB
It is not so much that Persephone is brave, as much as it is that she has a few screws loose...or rather all of them are loose lol.
If you want to write Persephone getting railed by the Garden, please feel free to go ahead, I would be happy to see it and am honored this gave you that idea, I would try it myself but I am not that confident in my own ability to write such a thing.
Also, at least Chris will not be alone in her torment lol, Rahu and thistle will be right there with her...though Thistle is likely to take out her anger at her trying to throw her under the bus and what she is going to have to endure on Chris when Shalom is done with them.
Poor detective is not going to be walking anytime soon lol.
I also have this image of Chris' sister visiting her, looking at Thistle and telling her she has horrible taste in women if she likes her sister right in front of said sister.
That she and Thistle get along like a house on fire soon becomes a bittersweet thing for Chris to deal with lol.
Take care and stay safe.

Sorry for not being able to get a new post of yugioh x genshin crossover au. I was stuck trying to build kits of characters as I am trying to make a playable kit. That and forgetting to save
Its alright, take your time with it, I always appreciate the level of detail you pout into them so it is worth the wait in my opinion. I also share your pain of forgetting to save work every now and then lol.

@nomorefstogive I changed my profile but . Do you want a small idea of my yugioh x genshin crossover spook. In Fontaine all the archetypes I am going to have are all based on Law. If you want some hints on which archetype it is. I will give you a clue. First archetype six bullets can hit anyone you want but the seventh is controlled by the devil. Second archetype I stole a back a bit of time. Third archetype Security Force. Fourth book caster Fifth Archetype clue is Spawn and Zombie apocalypse. Sixth archetype power changers dino charge. Seventh is the lesser key of Solomon and kingdom hearts. Do you want to guess which archetype it is.
I knowq very little about the Archetype of literature, despite being an avid reader lol, so I apologize if I am way off the mark with these.
The first Archetype reminds me of an opera I have heard about, I think it is called 'Der Freischütz', a Marksman sells his soul to the devil in exchange for the bullets, I have only heard second hand information about it, but I suppose the Archetype could be related to someone making a deal with a higher power in exchange for power, but having to pay a steep price for it.
Perhaps their power is a double edged blade that either wears down their life as they use it, or something that puts an enormous burden on them, like seeing the sins of others and reliving them.
Overall, I may be wrong here, I feel the Archetype would perhaps be that of either an Outlaw, a vigilante in this case, or perhaps even the Hero themselves, albeit a particularly foolhardy one.
The second one is a bit more difficult, perhaps the Jester with some hidden depths, or perhaps the Sage, given the scope of ability necessary for such a feat.
The third I feel could work for either the Caretaker or the Hero, both being forces that provide a sense of security and protection to those around them.
The fourth, I feel this one works more for Sage than the second one, though the role of a Magician is also a very nice fit for it as well, and of the two I would say that Magician works the best.
For the fifth, yeah I really have no idea lol. Perhaps the Outlaw, or maybe the Everyman given the skills of both the aforementioned Spawn and the skills needed to survive in such a situation.
For the Sixth, again I have no idea lol, sorry.
The seventh though, this one calls to mind both the Magician and perhaps the Ruler, the lesser key being linked to the Ruler known as the Great Magician, and that is symbolizes both said Magicians knowledge and power, while at the same time also showing the power that aided this man in being the ruler he was.
However, the Kingdom Hearts bit makes me think of an Explorer, venturing to other worlds and lands while trying to fight the spread of Darkness, or perhaps the Sage who has gained the knowledge of not only the other side, but also of the innerworkings of their own and other worlds.
These are my best guesses, I apologize if I am way off the mark lol.
Also, I wish to recommend a game to you called Othercide.
It is a brutally punishing game set in a world where beings known as Others rule a place of unreality, these entities embodying concepts such as Memory, in the case of the Protagonist, and Suffering, the Antagonist.
It is a grim dark world, with disturbing themes ranging from torture and experimentation on a minor, the Chosen One of Sufering or its vessel into the real world, the abuse, both sexual and mental, of the Maid who was the only friend of the Child and more.
The game itself is beautiful in terms of graphics and soundtrack, and while the gameplay can be grindy and repetitive, it is still a very fun game with some very interesting lore.
I have sunk nearly 70 hours into t and have only gotten as far as the next to last boss, damn those AOE skills of his, but I still highly recommend it, namely because I have the image of a SAGAU, be it Imposter or not, where the Reader is the Chosen of Suffering and has been reborn or summoned into Teyvat with their Patron.
A last bit before I finish this, it says a great deal that the Suffering Other, was a better guardian to the Child than the Deacon that took him in.
Let that sink in.
Till next time.
