What’s even funnier about Nott being injured in the DOM and everyone else going “RIP him I guess” is the fact that we do not hear about this guy again. From what I remember, the only other mention of this guy is the fact that Slughorn didn’t want to recruit Theodore Nott because his father got arrested at the Ministry; Nott Sr heard the others leave him and dipped

Nott and Jugson ran off together. Nott drew the line at being bested by some kids and then abandoned by his colleagues. I don't even think he was seriously injured, just annoyed.

I guess they left Theo behind though RIP.
