After over two months of chipping away at this in between commishes, i finally finished Shakkar/Darth Envisaar's ref sheet!

She's my oldest Star Wars OC and one of my most complex one both in terms of lore and personality, so I felt like she was long overdue for a proper ref sheet!

Happy Halloween ya’ll 🎃 here’s Shakkar in a spooky witchy costume! If she kisses you there is a 90 percent chance you’ll melt and turn into bone soup, but let’s be real, that’s a good way to go.

Made a doodle to answer both of these questions, “2: their smile” and “3: their greatest achievement”.

Shakkar rarely smiles, if ever. When she does, it’s a small, warm and shy smile - definitely not something you’d expect from such a fearsome, serious Dark lord. 

After Keejh was born, she could never stop smiling. He was such a cheerful little baby, and his happiness was always contagious.

How was Darth Envisaar become a sith was she born into it? Or did she train to become one?

Darth Envisaar/Shakkar wasn't born as an Imperial citizen, much less as a Sith. She was a slave, and when it was discovered that she was Force-sensitive, she was bought by a young Darth who wanted to marry her and make her his apprentice. However the man was older than her (she was merely 15 at the time, he was 27), and he was extremely violent and dangerous, so when he groomed her and ended up impregnating her, Shakkar started to fear for her life and the life of her unborn child. After feeling desperate, lost, powerless for a while, her despair turned into rage, and when he tried one last time to beat her like he had done many times in the past, she crushed his skull through the Force, killing him instantly.

She was of course put on trial for murder, even though she was heavily pregnant ; but Darth Vel Threllis, a wealthy Pureblood Sith, saw how much potential she had, and he saved her by testifying for her at the trial, and then buying her freedom. She went on to became his apprentice, and was able to raise her son and become a great Sith.

This is a question of a very sensitive topic and I really do not intend to offend or cause Discourse but really know the character's mind better. Why did Shakkar not terminate her pregnancy despite.. well, how it came to happen?

Keejh’s father wouldn’t have let her even if she wanted to, and she didn’t want to - it did not take long before she started to feel a strong bond growing between herself and her unborn child, the Force connecting them in a way she had never experienced before. As it began developing, she felt its emotions, its love for her, and... only for her. As if this child knew, already, what kind of person its other parent was.She could already feel the child’s exceptional Force sensitivity, of course, but so did the father. As months passed it became clear that as soon as the baby would be born, the father would seize it and get rid of Shakkar. After all, she had served her purpose, hadn’t she? She made a fresh new apprentice for him, one who shared his genes, unlike her, the lowly slave.
